Surf Side Shores #1502 is a totally custom remodeled/decorated interior gulf-front 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium located on the 5th floor in building I overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 820 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. There are 2 full baths with custom showers . The gulf-side master bathroom is accessed via the bedroom and hallway. The street-side bedroom has an attached bathroom with a stand-up shower. King, King, Sofa sleeper. Sleeps 6. Must be 21 to rent.

Surf Side Shores I and II are 9-story buildings with 6 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Surf Side Shores has two beachside pools, one of which is an extended season pool and a small kiddie pool. The property also has a grilling area that services buildings I and II. 2 car limit. Stays longer than 30 days must purchase parking pass(s) for every month.

STAY AND PLAY

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including; golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

We loved our stay here! Perfect location right on the beach, and the balcony was our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening sunsets. The pool was great for our five-year-old, and everything was close to shops and restaurants. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and having a washer and dryer was super convenient. King beds and big TVs made relaxing easy, and everything was clean with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Condo

This was our first time to Gulf Shores. Perfect condo for us. Very clean and right on beach, the employees at condo were so friendly and helpful too. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside was the fire alarm went off twice @ 1:30 am!!!!

accurate pictures, nice place, elevators are quick and it's good to be away from the larger condos, would be a 5 star if not for a smell/odor in the unit. we used Febreze and Lysol to help eliminate the odor.

Pros: Property as described CleanRoom for two carsBeach not super crowdedMinimal check-out list Cons:Walls are PAPER thin. The gentleman in the unit next to us snored incredibly loud all night long and we heard every breath.This property is managed by a third party which means you are communicating with the owners directly, so they don't always have the answer to your specific questions. Example, I messaged via VRBO asking if the kitchen contained specific items and what time of coffee filters do I need to bring. The response was "it is standard coffee maker" which was not helpful because some standard coffee makers use funnel filters some use the flat filters. They told me yes the kitchen contained some of the items but not others...when the opposite was true. Lastly, they did not send any communication via the VRBO messaging system. They only communicated via email and it came from an automated email system with an address and subject line that looked like spam...in fact my server actually flagged it as spam the first time so I didn't get the communication until after a deadline had passed.

Nice location. Condo was very nice. Great balcony, loved the high top table with stools. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. A blender would be a great addition for making frozen drinks or smoothies.

The condo was clean and spacious for our family of three and had a beautiful view of the Gulf. The kitchen was stocked and allowed us to cook breakfast before we hit the beach. We enjoyed our stay. If I could recommend anything, it would be to upgrade the bedroom furniture. The mattresses were comfortable, but the bed frames could have been sturdier. Every toss or turn sounded like it was breaking.

Beautiful condo

We’ve been going to gulf shores the past 3 years around the same time every year, we were hesitant to go with this condo because we stayed at the same one the two times we came before, but this one is much much better. Amazing view an a great updated condo. Wonderful job on redoing it. We’ll be staying here next year as well. Amazing trip!

The bathrooms are small and lacks sufficient counter space

However, the owners were very thoughtful in decorating and in ensuring the condo is equipped with other essential items to assist with storage. The condo was adequately cleaned, and the management staff was friendly, helpful, and responded to our concerns expeditiously. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Surf Side Shores. The condominiums are located on the beach, close to restaurants, parks, shopping, and the ocean views are breathtaking, especially at sunrise.

The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and having a washer and dryer in-unit was a huge plus. We’d absolutely return—this place checked every box for a family beach trip!

Our stay review

However someone forgot to remember pillows w/ cases for the master bedroom so luckily we borrowed two we found in storage closet + 1 we brought. The bed was made up w/zero sleep pillows just decorative pillows.

Not a clean condo!

Reason we returned but this time we noticed sofa was dirty, doors hadn’t been wiped off & showed finger prints even though they were painted black. Fire your cleaning lady & do a deep clean!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are snowbirds and enjoyed staying at Surf Side Shores 1502 for January and February of 2024. WE have been coming down to Gulf Shores for 10 years and know the area well. This is a very nice condo unit and decorated beautifully. It does lack any dressers, which probably not an issue if you were just staying for a week or so, but was harder when you ae there for 8 to 9 weeks. We mostly loved the balcony furniture and spent much time there looking at teh ocean and drinking our coffee in the morning. We would have liked to have stayed there again next year, but were advised that it wasn't going to be available for monthly rental.

Nice Stay in Surf Side Shores1502

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family had a nice week vacation in Gulf Shores at this property. There were a few minor things for improvement, but overall the condo was nice. The master shower door’s handle needs tightening, and water would leak out the bottom sometimes from showering. Not a big deal, just improvements needed. It would have been nice to know that chairs and an umbrella were available with the property. Would’ve saved some frustrations of packing those items. The master bed seems to be dipping a bit. Might be time to replace. The patio furniture was very nice and used every day. TVs are all Samsung brand and good quality. Plenty of dishes and cookware available. The property’s elevator is very quick so we never waited on it. There are only 9 total levels, so it’s not the huge high rise type condo you see all over. Parking was easy and spots were always available. Wish the small pool was actually a hot tub! Was a bit too chilly for the pool. Overall, was happy with the condo and it’ll be on the list for our next vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo at 1502 Surf Side Shores was the most adorable condo we could have rented for our relaxing vacation! Two kings beds and multiple upgrades throughout the condo made it feel like home away from home! We absolutely loved it and hope to be back next year!
