Running Deer Lodge is the perfect intimate space for a peaceful retreat. This modern home features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with luxurious touches such as heated bathroom towel racks and two private outdoor showers. Located just minutes from the heart of Fredericksburg, it offers an open-concept dining, living, and kitchen area filled with natural light throughout the day. Enjoy your stay in this tucked-away getaway that blends modern design with Texas charm.
The Space:
The house mirrors itself in formation. Two bedrooms each quipped with an ensuite bathroom including access to a private outdoor shower. Both bedrooms have patios that connect to the outdoor fire pit. Meet in the open concept living room and dining area for some group quality time.
The kitchenette has kitchen basics excluding an oven or stove top.
Guest Access:
Guests have full access to house (minus one locked closet), outdoor spaces and private driveway.

Important: To ensure a smooth check-in experience, you'll also be asked to review and sign the House Rules, FCM Homes Terms & Conditions, provide a copy of your ID and credit card details for incidentals and reason for visit via the Guest App Link sent in your reservation confirmation. Please make sure to complete this step at least 24 hours before your arrival to receive your arrival instructions.
Please note that payments over $1,000 require a quick verification step. Guesty Pay Protect will contact you via email before your payment is processed to complete this verification. If the verification isn’t completed within 15 minutes, the reservation will unfortunately be canceled due to non-payment.
HOUSE RULES:
- Occupancy [ 4 ]
- No guests under the age of 25 are permitted on the property at any time.
- Pets are NOT allowed.
- Smoking is NOT allowed.
- Parties or events are NOT allowed.
- Quiet hours are from 10 PM - 7 AM.
- If the home is left unattended without securing the lock upon check out the guests assume responsibility for any loss that may occur.
- Fireworks are not allowed.
- Use of firearms and/or weaponry onsite is prohibited.
- If any furniture is moved, please place it back in the original space where it was found.
- In the event that you need to use the hard key, please place it back in the lockbox before departing. Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key.
- This is a dark sky community. Please be sure to shut off any lights when they are not in use. A Dark Sky Community is a designated area that takes measures to reduce light pollution, preserving the natural night sky for the benefit of both people and wildlife.
The owner lives on the backside of the property. Please do not venture over to their property for their privacy.
Please note that this unit has only a small kitchenette. There is a microwave in the kitchenette area. Please ensure the microwave door is fully shut in order for the microwave to work properly.
The home is a water well property and with the extreme heat and current drought the pressure is low. Please be mindful of your water use and help us make efforts to conserve. It is best to shower one at a time as the well may not be able to sustain multiple locations all at once.
HVAC Rules:
Please do not set the home's thermostat above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us.
