Key Lime is a beautifully maintained home in the perfect location, 1 block from Dock St, 1 block from 2nd St, and walking distance to all that makes Cedar Key a fantastic place to visit! Golf cart included (June-Aug, excluding holidays)!! Are your dates already booked at Key Lime? Try our other cute cottage, Blue Chair Key!

Key Lime boasts cheery colors throughout remind you that you're on island time! Two king bedrooms each with private baths are perfect for two couples or families. The front bedroom features a private balcony facing south, just the spot for people watching and enjoying the glimpse of sunlight on the water across the street. Laundry facilities complete the first floor. Upstairs you'll find gleaming wood floors, plenty of dining seating, breakfast bar & cheery kitchen with useful storage. The upper balcony provides picturesque water views left & right as well as a good look at the downtown. Coffee never tasted so good as it does sitting on this porch! This block is known as the Sisters of Cedar Key, come enjoy time on the porch with great views of Cedar Key! Property also has a charcoal grill downstairs for convenient use.

Key Lime Cottage was very spacious with large living and dining areas and a kitchen just like at home with great appliances. Our dog had plenty of room to be walked outside with a covered area in case of rain . This was our second visit and plan to come again next year.

Beautiful residence, perfect location

Key Lime was a beautiful place to host the four generations of my family. It was comfortable with enough seating to all get together and we especially enjoyed the two balconies. This house is in a great location, within walking distance of most of the dock and local shops. We were there for the Seafood Festival and my 2 year old great granddaughter couldn't have been more thrilled when the parade route came right by Key Lime. We loved our stay at Key Lime!

Great time in Cedar Key

Great property in awesome location. Property was as described and met all of our needs for a quick weekend. Upstairs balcony comes with views of the gulf.

Key Lime Retreat

The house is beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable. We love sitting outside in the porch for morning coffee. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. If we were staying longer that would've come in handy. Lots of linen available as well. The golf cart was an awesome bonus. Walkable to many/most of the local businesses. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home

This was our second trip to Cedar Key. The home beautiful and had everything we needed and more. It was very clean and it’s a great location to be able to walk to everything. We hope to visit Cedar Key again very soon and will definitely be checking availability at the Key Lime house.

Perfect in all ways!

This property was outstanding! It has been decorated so beautifully. It's in a perfect location for all activities. Having access to a golf cart made getting around the island very enjoyable. If the opportunity arises again, we would stay there again. Thank you to the property managers!

Great small town

The property was immaculate and the owners thought if everything. We've been all across the country and this property was by far the best as far as amenities are concerned. Communication was great too. We had to leave early due to tornado damage around our own house and they were very understanding. I would 100% recommend this location and property to anyone.

Absolutely absolutely love the house. Great communication with property managers Couldn’t ask for anything more in the house. Would’ve liked a few more local restaurants and more Beach but I will return to fish without my children.

We had a fantastic stay at Key Lime Cottage in Cedar Key with our family. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and welcoming. The home was spotless—truly one of the cleanest vacation rentals we’ve experienced—and beautifully maintained with thoughtful touches throughout.The location is unbeatable. Just steps from town, we could walk to restaurants shops. The cottage also offers lovely water views of the gulf. One of the highlights was cruising around the charming streets of Cedar Key in the provided golf cart—such a fun and relaxing way to explore the island!Communication with the property manager was excellent. They were responsive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the Wi-Fi was reliable.We also appreciated the quiet neighborhood and the easy parking. It’s clear the owners care deeply about the guest experience. We’d absolutely return and recommend Key Lime Cottage to anyone looking for a clean, well-located, and family-friendly retreat in Cedar Key.

Fantastic experience!

We love KeyLime! Beautiful home! Great location! Communication with the Rental team was excellent. The house was very clean and all the furnishings and supplies were nice and new. Beautiful kitchen with everything you need. We enjoyed sitting on the porches looking at the water. Having the golf cart at the house was very convenient. We look forward to returning soon.

Key Lime is a gem

The home is beautifully furnished and was sparkling clean. The kitchen was the best-stocked I've ever seen in a rental...we cooked in one night and found the pots, pans, dishes and cooking utensils top-notch. The location can't be beat as it is one block from everything you could possibly want plus there's a classy bar across the alley in the back, Bonish Studios. The water view is partially blocked by the buildings on the beach but with two balconies to choose from you can enjoy the view of your choice. We would definitely stay here again!

Great property in the heart of town

The Key Lime Cottage was a great home convenient and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The home was in great condition and exactly as depicted on line. Nothing was lacking in the home for meal prep and there was an ample supplies of paper items. The balcony patio was nice for snacks and cocktails after a day of fishing. Living area and kitchen is on floor 3 (just mentioning as it was not evident in the listing). We loved the property and hope to come back again. Cedar Key did a great job getting the town back open after Idalia.

Super clean and great location

The location is amazing. The home is very well organized and super clean. The only reasons rating is 4/5 instead of 5/5 is the odor downstairs. It seemed like a dog had been there or something and the smell lingered. Also, downstairs at night there are a lot of noises and one particular is the water heater in the closet, whether it’s filling back up or whatever the case may be it’s enough noise to wake you and or keep you up.
