Mermaid's Nest
Island life awaits at the Mermaid's Nest! The lower level walk-in unit is tastefully decorated and offers all the conveniences for a comfortable stay. The back patio is the perfect spot to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while sipping your morning coffee or dining al fresco. Take a splash in the pool that is just steps away from the unit or stroll over to Chenay Bay Beach to enjoy the ocean. This gated community is minutes from Christiansted where you will find shopping, dining, and nightlife.
The space
Mermaid’s Nest is the perfect island getaway!
Beautifully refreshed, coastal-inspired one bedroom condo, boasting high standards of comfortable living space and conveniently located on the ground level. No hauling luggage and groceries up flights of stairs. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening night caps on the back patio overlooking the sparkling pool that is just 14 steps away. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed; kitchen is fully equipped and recently updated to include granite countertops, new shower tile/glass in the bathroom along with a new quartz countertop. Condo has a mini-split AC unit, WiFi, Washer/Dryer, dining table and new cozy sofa, chair, and ottoman. The oversize hutch is filled will pool and beach gear.
Southgate Courtyard Villas is a 24 unit gated community located just minutes from our favorite beach, Chenay Bay, on the east end of St Croix. Downtown Christiansted is a 10 minute drive, where you can explore the historic sites, shopping, dining, and nightlife.
Guest access
In addition to the condo, guests have access to the courtyard and swimming pool with 3 cabanas.
Other things to note
Don’t feel like cooking or driving anywhere to eat or drink? Just a short walk to Cheeseburgers in America’s Paradise as it is located directly outside the back gate.
Do your best to conserve water and electricity as energy on the island is a premium.
There is a cell tower within approximately 100 yards of the condo that delivers 5G cell connection.
Directions from the airport: Head east (.1mi), Slight left toward Rte 64 (150ft), Slight left onto Rte 64 (1.1mi), Turn right onto Melvin H Evans Hwy/Rte 66 (1.7mi), Turn right onto Rte 631/Rte 68 (.9mi), Turn right (.3 mi), Turn left onto Rte 631/Rte 68 (1.3mi), Slight left to stay on Rte 68 (.4mi), Continue onto Old Centerline Rd/Queen Mary Hwy (1.1mi), Turn right at Constitution Hill Rd (.2mi), Turn left toward Rte 70 (.3 mi), Turn right onto Christiansted Bypass/Rte 70 (1.7mi), Turn right onto East End Rd (2.7mi), Turn left onto East End Rd/Rte 82 (.1mi), Turn right into Southgate Courtyard Villas. If you pass Cheeseburger’s in America’s Paradise, you have gone too far.
