Perfect summer cottage! June~Bug Cottage is as close as it gets to perfection. This charming magical two-bedroom cottage is only steps away from the beach with spectacular sunset views. This home has been thoughtfully designed to allow you to unwind, relax and reset. Ideal for couples, singles, or small families. The cottage has plenty of outdoor space to relax, read your favorite book in the hammock or enjoy the firepit in the evenings. The backyard includes an outdoor shower, hammock, soft seating furniture, outdoor dining table, a gas grill and only steps from the water - perfect for standup paddleboards or kayaking. A short bike ride to local restaurants.

Truly a lovely quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle. The cottage comes with linens, towels, beach towels, a fully equipped kitchen along with a coffee maker, fresh coffee beans or pods. The cottage simplicity at its best! You will love the closeness of the water. A warm beautiful and bright home - a perfect haven to enjoy the beach tranquility!

This was a great property. The backyard is so beautiful and is perfect for reading, relaxing, playing cards and eating meals together. The property had everything we needed and a very nice beach was walking distance away.

Wonderful stay

June Bug was the cutest little beach cottage within walking distance to the bay. We loved the location-east drive to all Cape May has to offer.

We had a wonderful time! This was the perfect place for my wife, my son, and myself. It had everything we needed from beach equipment, to kitchen items, to the restful spaces in the backyard. Any questions I had for the owners were answered immediately. It was very relaxing and comfortable with a short walk to the beach which we visited daily. I highly recommend this property!

Cape may vacation

The junebug cottage was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Excellent location with a very nice beach for my 3 and 7 yo. It was the perfect size for us. We cannot wait to return!

We stayed in this beautiful cottage so that our daughter could compete in the Escape the Cape Triathlon. This home was so perfect for our needs for the weekend. Not only is it adorably decorated, every detail was so intentional and made wonderful use of space. We had everything we needed for the weekend and more! The beds were incredibly comfortable as well. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space, especially the hammock. We did not get a chance to use the fire pit, but the ambience and landscaping in the yard is just perfect. Plus, you can’t beat those beautiful sunsets! The hosts even let us know what time sunset was during our visit so we could walk to the beach in time to enjoy it. The hosts had excellent communication and were responsive and accommodating.

Beautiful cottage beach house

This house was the perfect size for our family of 4. The house was exceptionally clean and welcoming upon arrival. It was a rainy week so we could not enjoy the backyard accommodations like planned as it was unusually wet and buggy. The location could not be better though only a little over a block walk to the beach. We had. A few questions come up during our stay and the host responded immediately.

Lovely Beach Property

I would absolutely recommend this adorable cottage for anyone looking for a beach getaway! It was definitely the most spotless property I had the privilege of staying at. The attention to detail decorating this cottage to instill beach vibes was impressive! It was a short/easy walk to the beach and all beach supplies were provided. Sunsets at the beach are a must see and we saw dolphins! We did discover mosquitoes are apparently an issue in North Cape May so bring your repellent, but that has nothing to do with this amazing property. I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again in the future!

Beauty on the Bay

We booked our stay at June-Bug cottage a few weeks before our visit, and we completely lucked out in finding and securing this special place. The location is amazing - in a quiet neighborhood, steps from the bayside, sunset-centric beach. The cottage itself was stunningly beautiful. The decor and thoughtful touches were really something. A few highlights: two cruiser bikes in the shed for biking, crisp linens for beds, beach towels, beach BAGS, a washer/dryer (which I feel is a necessity for a beach vacation) and even soap and shampoo and conditioner. The outdoor space was also really special, with a hammock, fire pit, outdoor shower, and multiple seating areas. Tanya and the management team were also incredibly responsive and hospitable. This was a five-star stay for us and we hope to return!

An enthusiastic 10/10!

We had the most enjoyable stay at the Junebug Cottage! The decor and furnishings were SO gorgeous, comfortable, and cozy! I could not believe how lavish and well-designed the decorations were! The location of the Junebug was enjoyable because you were so close to the beautiful bayside, but also just a short drive to the beaches and shopping on the beachside. We appreciated the peacefulness of the bayside, compared to the action of the beachside, as far as the evening time. The kitchen outfit was very important to my family, since we prefer not to eat out much. I found the kitchen to be very functional and well stocked for cooking and serving ware. The outdoor space was so lovely, and similarly so comfortable and cozy. The cottage's beach gear (wagon, toys, chairs, etc.) were awesome, and so nice to not have to bring those from home! The laundry accommodations were perfect. our stay at the Junebug was an enthusiastic 10/10!
