Vivid Downtown Key West Cottage

Key West Cottage is a light airy one bedroom in the heart of Dunedin, only three or four blocks to the water and to Main Street's restaurants. The cozy cottage, one very private side of a duplex, is surrounded by tropical greenery. The décor is tropical, with furnishings and paintings from when we lived in Madagascar and Tanzania. It's a great little base for enjoying Dunedin, Clearwater and Tarpon Springs.
The space
The kitchen is well stocked, with pots, pans, plates, silverware, an apartment sized stove and oven, toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, coffee, salt and pepper, starter supplies of paper towels, etc. However, you will probably end up eating out a fair amount, since there are so many wonderful places nearby. Try out the two breakfast/lunch cafes a couple of blocks south, the cute Vietnamese pho shop right on the bike trail a couple of blocks north, or the many great restaurants and craft breweries just a block further.
There is a pullout sofa bed in the living room, but you will need to be good friends with whoever is staying in the bedroom as the bathroom is accessed through the bedroom. There is plenty of closet and dresser space in the bedroom. We provide beach towels, an umbrella, cooler, and folding chairs for beach trips. The large desk in the living room and fast internet makes working easier, if you must, and the desk looks out over nice greenery which makes it more cheerful.

We provide fluffy white towels and soft sheets, shampoo, conditioner and bath gel, and a starter supply of toilet paper.

On arrival, you will find a house manual with lots of information and a few snacks in case you're hungry. We love making our guests feel welcome and pampered!

There is high speed wifi and a Smart TV with a few free streaming apps, and the ability to log into your own accounts such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. but no cable TV.

The cottage is only two blocks north of the baseball stadium so you definitely hear the announcer when there is a game, but you also get to enjoy the fireworks by going out to the front porch! We are on one of Dunedin's brick streets which add to the charm of our little town, along with the funny and creative mailboxes in our neighborhood. We welcome visitors to discover the quirky small town charm of our slice of Old Florida.

There is a laundry room out back, shared with the other half of the duplex. We provide a starter supply of laundry detergent.
