Much of what is written here is half-truths. We pride ourselves in responding to every concern that is expressed to us about the house, everything brought to our attention is immediately taken care of. The only time this renter contacted us was when she missed 2 garbage pick ups over two weeks, because she did not put the garbage out on time. When I suggested she wait until the next pick-up, she said she couldn't because the container (a very large container) was full of beer bottles (her words). We arranged for a special pick up that afternoon, for which we were charged, and we did not pass that cost on to the renters. So the renter had the experience of knowing that we promptly take care of any concern that is brought to our attention. Renter also volunteered to me that she & her co-renter were familiar with swimming pools and were glad to skim the pool daily, she did not offer any complaint about the pool. Also there was no complaint about the TV nor the deck. The renters who followed her contacted me about the screws on the deck and again, our property manager Mark came the same afternoon and repaired the raised screws. We cannot repair what we are not aware of. When this renter wrote to me recently (long after her rental), we immediately had the TV replaced and hired a new pool manager. We could have done that any time if she had just let us know. This renter also stayed one day longer in the house than she paid for; our cleaning company came to clean but the renter was still there, and the cleaning company had to return the next day. We had to pay the cleaning company extra for coming twice and we did not pass that cost on to the renters either. I'm sorry we didn't. If we hear of any problem with the house, it is taken care of IMMEDIATELY, as soon as it is reported. I think this renter is upset because she paid the premium price for the house which we charge for the winter months. This is known as "supply & demand." Thank you.
