In general, great property! View is amazing and house is clean!We had an issue with the grill (grease trap was full, grill was dirty in general) and one of the upstairs beds (two twins put together instead of a queen bed). Also, it was disappointing that the blinds didn’t work.

Overall this was a great house. It was clean, stunning views, and very comfortable beds/furniture. The only thing that wasn't ideal for us was the long steep gravel driveway. We came for the rally so riding up and down it was not ideal on motorcycles but this was the only negative.

Hill City Bucket List

This property was exactly what it said! Beautiful inside and out and the views were spectacular. It was so quiet you could hear the breeze through the trees. Gorgeous! It was walkable to the town of Hill City and easily accessible to multiple parks and motorcycle rides. The property owner and management did a great job in communication.We had motorcycles and were able to access the house, even though the driveway was fairly steep and gravel. We did not have a problem at all going up or down. Just go slow. It was great having the large garage as it was raining and cold the day we arrived and were able to pull right in to a dry area. I’d recommend this home to anyone wanting a peaceful and beautiful stay. Great Find!!!

Wonderful home for family vacation

Home had a lovely view and everything we needed for our vacation. Very clean and modern. Description is accurate. Our teens enjoyed as a base for our vacation adventures.

Summer vacation

Our first time to South Dakota, we wanted to be able to drive to the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, etc and take in all the sites. The home is so very clean (and I'm pretty picky), in a perfect location and extremely relaxing after a busy day. So close to town, but you would never know once you are there. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely like to stay here again!

Beautiful view.

We were in the area for a family wedding. The home is conveniently located to area attractions and parks and is on a quiet hill with a beautiful view. It is furnished nicely and the kitchen is well equipped. I would suggest adding a teakettle and wine glasses. We appreciated the air conditioning units in the main floor great room and bedroom, but the two upstairs bedrooms don't have AC and only one fan so were quite hot. (90+degrees when we stayed). We enjoyed the deck in the mornings and evenings and would stay here again.

Black Hills Perfection

Everything about this VRBO exceeded our expectations. The location is very close to Hill City shops, restaurants, a playground and the historic train to Keystone. The home sits serene and private above the treetops. The wrap around porch is heavenly. Inside the living room / dining room area is spacious and welcoming. The kitchen is modernize and well equipped with all the cookware that you will need for preparing many meals for your group. The bedrooms are generous in size. The bed linens and towels are high quality. The mattresses guarantee that everyone will have a good night sleep. The garage easily fit 2 SUV’s. There were chairs in a bag available. Our 2 year-old loved the available high chair. The entry code was easy to manage. The owners were in-touch twice to see if there was anything we needed. Rapid City, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the town of Keystone, and the town of Custer and Custer State Park were all within a 1/2 drive. You could hike or drive to Hill City in just a few minutes. We LOVED this VRBO. You will too!

Perfect Black Hills Getaway

The property in Hill City is an easy drive to all that the Black Hills can offer. The house is exactly as described and pictured. Very Clean, comfortable, open concept house nestled in the Pines. Very quiet and yet minutes away from the center of Hill City. You can hear the wind blowing in the trees. Property owner was very helpful and available to answer any questions. They provided a gift card to a local Steakhouse, as well. Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay!
