La Quinta, joya del desierto!

Desde el momento en que nos alojamos en Legacy Villas en el viaje de nuestra hermana, Karen y yo quedamos cautivados por la serenidad y la belleza del complejo. Ubicado en una pintoresca cala en las montañas de Santa Rosa, la arquitectura y el paisajismo son una fiesta para los ojos. Paseos serpenteantes bordeados de palmeras acentuadas por coloridas fuentes de azulejos conectan las Villas con las piscinas y la casa club.

Resort de lujo de 5 estrellas:

Legacy Villas es un Resort cerrado que cuenta con una casa club de 10,000 pies cuadrados, 12 piscinas de agua salada y muchas fuentes conectadas por serpenteantes paseos ajardinados. La calidad de la construcción y la cantidad de comodidades son impresionantes. El área de la casa club cuenta con un área de piscina principal, gimnasio y un jardín con hamacas. El área principal de la piscina incluye 2 piscinas, una piscina de entrenamiento y un spa con coloridas cabañas. La piscina para niños o la piscina para discapacitados cuenta con fácil acceso a la piscina y las fuentes de agua adyacentes divertidas para niños como las fuentes de tortugas o palmeras. Hay internet inalámbrico gratis en la casa club. El Legacy Grill está abierto en temporada para comidas sencillas o una excelente taza de café Starbuck.

¿Por qué nuestra villa?

Elegimos esta Villa para nuestra casa de vacaciones familiar debido a la ubicación y el plano. Ubicada al final del paseo principal, cerca de la casa club y las piscinas principales, la Villa está ubicada en un cinturón verde con increíbles VISTAS de la Gran Fuente y las Montañas del Desierto. Es un lugar ideal para familias con niños pequeños y movilidad limitada (sin escaleras y escalones al área de césped). Disfrute de su café matutino o cene en el patio privado disfrutando de las espectaculares vistas de las montañas resaltadas por la vista y los sonidos de la Gran Fuente.

Es ideal para un grupo grande o pequeño. Hay 2 suites en cada extremo (suite King y suite Queen) y una tercera habitación con cama queen y baño completo. Las suites ofrecen retiros privados y la sala de estar ofrece un lugar acogedor para socializar. La sala de estar, el comedor y la cocina se abren entre sí y forman una gran sala maravillosa que se abre al patio. La sala de estar cuenta con un cómodo sofá con cama queen y TV de pantalla plana Sony HD de 52 '. El comedor tiene capacidad para 6 personas cómodamente y hay 3 taburetes adicionales en el bar de la cocina. La espaciosa cocina cuenta con mostradores de granito y está totalmente equipada para todas sus necesidades. Hay wi-fi en todo y una línea telefónica fija. Hay nuevas sábanas de algodón. Qué hacer:

Es posible que no desee salir de la zona del complejo, relajarse en las numerosas piscinas y jacuzzis, un día perfecto en mi opinión. O tal vez un juego matutino de tenis o golf en las canchas o campos cercanos. Pero si eres un aventurero y quieres explorar y experimentar lo que esta área tiene para ofrecer, aquí hay algunas sugerencias:

We loved this house! It was perfect for our extended family of 6. We appreciated having all the light/fan switches labeled. The neighborhood was beautiful and the kids really enjoyed the pool. Also close to restaurants and shopping. We hope to return!

We had the best time at this place- we seriously cannot wait to get back! The location was even better than the photos with the mountains just steps away. Plenty of pools and views! The owners were wonderful with communication and very accommodating.

This was a wonderful property and we throughly enjoyed our stay. We were 2 couples and there was terrific privacy and space between us. Beautiful location and we enjoyed walking around the area. This property was wonderful! The unit was very nice and comfortable! The location of the unit was amazing and is tucked away on a courtyard with a big fountain looking at the mountains and was very quiet. We had easy access to multiple pools which was great. The property manager was very responsive with questions.

Perfect get-away!

The condo was impeccable with more than enough room for two couples. It would accommodate 6 adults easily. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained! We have stayed in the Palm Desert area many times and without a doubt, this property and location are at the top of our list. If you want total relaxation and the feel of a "home away from home," La Quinta and this property, in particular, should be your first choice!

This was our first trip to the LaQuinta area. We have friends that have homes in LaQuinta, Palm Springs and Palm Desert, so it was great to see them while we were there! We totally enjoyed our stay and plan to come back again for sure! The unit and location were perfect for our first time there! Everything about the unit was exactly as was advertised! The unit set up with the two en-suitesbeing at opposite ends was perfect for our needs! We enjoyed several Happy Hours on the patio with friends of ours who were staying in Legacy Villas. We walked to and from Old Town on several occasions. The unit was totally functional for our purposes! Clean, well set up and supplied with everything that we could need! Our grandchildren very much enjoyed the main pool at the complex. All in all the unit, location, and the entire area exceeded our expectations! We thank you so much for trusting us with your home!

Great Rental

We’ve stayed at the Legacy Villas several times and this is one of the nicest units we’ve rented. The unit was very clean, had a kitchen stocked with great cookware and knives for dining in, and a nice view of the mountains. The set up is perfect for families. It’s on the bottom floor and has three separate patio areas to relax in. There’s also a grassy area right outside the back door if the kids want to toss the frisbee around….if they’re not completely worn out from swimming all day. Skip was great with communication and checking in was effortless. We’ll definitely book again.

Great place to getaway with the family

We initially wanted to stay at a resort with the lazy river, but since that was closed, the idea of 12 open pools was the next great option. The other main draws to staying here was the ability to relax and just meander through the property and not be cooped up inside (proximity to mountain views, fountains, landscape, etc). Our full day stay was on a Friday which was great since we had a pool to ourselves most of the day but weekends require a sign-up. Minor annoyances: Lots of kids on skateboards and razors despite all the signs saying they aren't allowed. My sister had a small hold up with the security gate not being able to find the rental tracking form for their car. Kids were up in arms about the "bugs" in the rooms (crickets, roaches, etc.) but it was probably normal for the season and area - nothing that was alarming. Overall, we loved the separate bathrooms and the ability to control temp for each section of the villa. It was clean (but could probably use a deep clean and touch ups soon) and very spacious! The location is also great as it wasn't too close to the main areas but not too far either. It was perfect for what we wanted.

Lovely stay

We were a party of 6 over Christmas. Two teens, two 40 year olds, and my elderly parents walked over from their own unit. We had a very nice time at this rental overall. We’d stay there again. Communication was fast and small issues resolved quickly. There were plenty of towels, a very large amount of dishes and serving platters, I liked that where were some spices available, and the drawer of Saran Wrap and foil came in nicely. A few small complaints: No tv in the 3rd bedroom. The property as a whole felt neglected. Several of the hot tubs were broken, several of the pools weren’t heated. Once we found a pool that was heated AND a working hot tub we were much happier, pool 14 is a very close walk.No kleenex/tissue in the whole house? In December, during cold/flu season? My one real complaint is that we had booked for 6 people for 6 nights. There was an ample supply of laundry soap and dish soap. But only 4 tiny garbage bags. The garbage can in the kitchen is tiny, bathroom sized. We cooked a lot and also had Christmas morning wrapping paper to dispose of. I did a very large grocery order when we arrived, and I assumed there’d be a normal amount of garbage bags provided. I didn’t realize until the 3rd day that we were running low, and I felt stupid reaching out for such a small item, but also didn’t want to have to drive to the grocery store only for garbage bags. Just felt like a very “cheap” thing, surprising for such a nice and otherwise well stocked unit.

Very nice, met our needs just fine

Very nice and quiet gated community. A couple up front questions we had were answered promptly and the front gate had advance notice and approved access for all our family members. Plenty of free parking adjacent to the property. Access to the unit was easy using the keypad. The listing pics accurately represent the property and while we rented the entire 3BR unit, the way the outside and inside doors are set up, it looks like it might be possible to rent individual, smaller pods with varying amenities. This layout provided a lot of privacy among the various groups staying in the unit and the common living room, dining room & kitchen worked well for us. It is a ground floor unit and we could hear the group above us from time to time. Another thing to note is that it appears that some units might allow pets and at various times, we were able to hear barking dogs during our stay. It took us a bit to find the extra towels, pillows, etc., but eventually we found everything we needed. We did have to purchase soft-soap, TP, and kleenex for several of the bathrooms . . . but other than that, the unit was equipped with most everything we needed. The individual AC units worked well throughout the different areas of the unit, although the one in the primary BR was very loud. It was nice that the TV in the living room had many HDMI ports and AC power available as we had various HDMI sticks and devices among us and were able to get everything to work fine. The one issue that should be addressed is that the large sectional couch in the living room is old and very worn out, making it very difficult to get comfortable in and hard to get up from. Several of us sat in dining room chairs while watching TV . . . if you're young and spry, the couch probably would not be an issue. All the beds and showers and bathrooms were great. There are multiple community pools very close to the unit and because of them, several of us never even made it down to the main pools by the clubhouse. All in all, the development was fine and in a great location. As far as the unit, we will definitely consider it for upcoming trips to La Quinta.

Perfect place to relax!

We were all super impressed with the property! We were here for weekend 2 of Coachella and the property manager made it extremely easy for access and use. Linens and towels were provided and it was the perfect place to relax in between days. We will definitely want to be back here again! The Legacy Villa staff was also very nice and accomodating upon arrival as festival goers.

Winter Retreat

You feel secluded even though amongst other condos. Beautiful grounds and so peaceful with so many things to do there and nearby. Enjoyed every minute and place was very relaxing

We are a close Italian American family from the San Francisco Bay Area consisting of 2 sisters, a brother and our extended families. We love to get together and are having fun discovering the desert.

This property has a peaceful, serene location with beautiful views of the mountains and the large fountain. The villa is comfortable, well appointed and because of the separate suites, provides privacy and a 'retreat- like' feel. We have been enchanted by La Quinta area since our first sister's tennis trip 10 yrs ago. We stayed at Legacy one year with a friend and were captivated by the resort-like experience. From the visual treat to the many secret pools and Villas, it was so much fun. Our families wanted to come have fun in the desert too.

Each bedroom suite features private entrance, patio and full bathroom with large shower and jetted tub. Other features include new 65 inch Sony TV with the sports package, wi-fi, land line, coffeemaker, ironing board and 3 fireplaces.
We visit often and keep the Villa in tip top condition.
