The Turtle Nest room 408

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Most everything you need is with in walking distance the Pier, Boardwalk, Ocean Center, Restaurants, Spirits, Dancing and more. Only a 5 mile drive to Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Airport and only steps from the beach. We are an older hotel that has been converted into privately owned rooms. Our efficiency room is #408 on the fourth floor next to the elevator.
The space
The property consist of 156 privately owned rooms, either a one bedroom or efficiency room. It is a four story tall building with two elevators a guest laundry room with vending machines available. This room is a north side room with no balcony it is not ocean front but ocean view.
Guest access
This is an efficiency room with full access of the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Your outside area consist of miles and miles of the white sands of Daytona Beach.
Other things to note
Due to past hurricanes and storms there maybe some on going construction on property at this time it is very minimal. We hope this will not be too much longer we apologize for the inconvenience. The pool is open for your use, and the beach is always available for guests enjoyment.

Cozy with a great location

The turtles next is a quaint, clean room in an amazing location. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. They let us check in early and stay late. Thecroom was very clean. The beds are some of the most comfortable beds we have stayed in, and we are seasoned travelers. The decor is modern, though the bathroom could use some updating. Our only disappointment was that the pool is for owners and renters only so we couldn't swim, there is an area near the pool for others to lounge.

Cozy Cottage feel

We stayed at this condo room while in town for the NASCAR race. The appearance of the condos when you arrive can be a little off putting. Very old and could use a little love. This condo though was like a little Florida cottage feel to it. Cute little kitchen with the basics for what you need for small meals . The bathroom could use a little updating, but it is functional. The elevator stopped working on our second day and we had to walk four flights of stairs each time we went anywhere, but exercise is good when you’re on vacation so it was ok. The pool area is amazing! Very impressed. The beach view is amazing also. Would definitely stay there again

great room!

My family and I have been staying in this hotel for 10+ years on our annual vacations, but this room was amongst the best rooms we’ve had. It does get a little humid if the ceiling fan isn’t running on high but that was a very minor inconvenience and obviously out of the owner’s control. Not having a stove is a bit of a pain but they have added a toaster oven that has all the features you could want to cook a full meal for your family! Great room overall! Would 100% book again

Daytona Beach Getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at this turtle nest. It was affordable and just what we needed. We had fun and the owners are such nice people.

Top Notch

If you’re looking for a great place that is in the heart of the beach scene, this is it. Located right at the end of International Blvd it is super easy to get to. Even with renovations to the building from hurricane damage, it was clean and orderly. Parking was a breeze. Elevators made it easy to get our bags up to the fourth floor. Wonderful pool area with access directly onto the beach. Most of what a person would need was within walking distance. Host was great. We were provided clear and easy check in/out instructions. He even contacted us to make sure we had received all of our information and to give us a few tips when we arrived. We will not hesitate to stay again.

Great stay for the price.

My husband came down first to participate in a Fitness competition with one of his teammates for the competition. They thought the room was perfect for their stay since the competition hotel was 4x the price! Also only 1 mile away. When the competition was over his teammate left so we booked the room a few days extra to have a tiny beach vacation with our kids. When I arrived with our kids a few days later, the room had an odd smell, like marijuana, that could've very well been from any of the neighboring rooms or the vents, or previous renters, even though the room clearly says no smoking. The vents seem really dusty, possibly moldy, and there were some sugar ants who made themselves at home in the kitchen. A lot of these things, most likely no fault to the owner. Other than any of that, it was pretty nice, especially for the price. The kitchenette was so cute. Some kind of plug in griddle type thing or toaster oven would've been awesome, though we didn't look too hard, so there's a possibility it was there, so that we could've cooked a meal for dinner. We went out to eat instead. We had to take a bit of a roundabout way to walk to the beach from a walkway at a neighboring hotel due to ongoing construction. Though the listing says it is not kid friendly, we didn't have too many issues with our children who are 6, 3, and 18 months. Most hotels, the walls are paper thin, but it was hard to hear anyone around. We hoped we weren't disturbing to anyone neighboring us either.

I am from Fort Lauderdale Florida and love the beach. Moved to central Florida and visited Daytona Beach often, loved this location and decided to purchase here. I decided to host my condo to others so they could also enjoy the beach as much as I do.
