Eagle's Nest Cottage Fully Renovated 200' Waterfront, In Cove, Dock & More!!

Welcome to Eagle’s Nest Cottage. Thank you for considering this newly renovated retreat for you and your guests vacation experience.
Come enjoy the lake life at Lake Anna located on the public side in a private no wake cove. Walk right into the lake with a sandy bottom slope, nice swim area, 5’ water depth at the end of the dock. Dock easily provides space for 2 boats and 2 jet skis. This beautiful 200’ waterfront setting also has a neighborhood boat ramp access just a short distance, three blocks away.
The cottage deck faces the water for your morning coffee where you will enjoy watching the wildlife such as eagles, herons, ducks, and bass splashing out of the water. Gather around the fire pit for toasting and roasting marshmallows which could not be smores perfect. A grill for the chef and hammocks for relaxation. Outdoor and indoor games, peddle boat, paddle board, 2 kayaks, and a canoe. Please bring your own vests. Located on the public side of the lake close to restaurants, wineries, and shopping. LKA offers boat and jet ski rentals, fuel on the water and boat accessible restaurants.
The cottage comes well stocked with amenities, internet, Wi-Fi, HD smart tv where you can sign in and enjoy Netflix, Hulu, etc. Provides two bedrooms, three queen beds, six place settings at the kitchen table which also extends out if needed. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, plates, utensils, granite countertops, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a compact washer/dryer combo. Plenty of cabinet storage for your needs. Fresh new bathroom with Bluetooth speaker with changing lights.
Our cleaning service makes sure the house is clean and sanitized between bookings. We conduct a thorough walkthrough ourselves to ensure that the house is clean, stocked and in order. Fresh sanitized laundry sheets are folded and wrapped, waiting for you on each bed. Plush clean towels are folded and provided for you under the sink. Extra clean blankets in dressers.
A great getaway to discover new experiences, make lasting memories with family and friends and simply decompress from the everyday life hustle. We invite you to enjoy the Eagle’s Nest Cottage retreat and come back year after year.

It was our first time to Lake Anna! Found this lovely place with amazing reviews. The place was bright, clean, and welcoming. The owners were very responsive when we had a couple of questions. The location on the lake was beautiful! Highly recommend Eagle’s Nest. Perfect for two adults who just wanted to relax and get away from the busyness of the DC suburbs for a few days.

Cottage Dreams

Beautiful lakefront property!

My husband and our two young daughters stayed at this property and it is in a great location with a beautiful view of the lake and family-friendly amenities. We had a wonderful time canoeing, roasting marshmallows on the campfire, and relaxing on the deck and hammock. Would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to explore and enjoy Lake Anna!

Loved our stay

The cottage was the perfect size and the lake views were gorgeous. We were able fish off the dock, and use the canoes, the kayaks to fish the cove. Sitting around the fire pit our last night was the best way to end to our vacation. Greg and Christine were impeccable hosts, we absolutely enjoyed their company. The beds were so comfortable- I got a great night's sleep every night.

Beautiful cottage on the lake

We knew shortly after booking that our stay at Eagle's Nest Cottage would be great! The owners, Greg & Christine, were very quick to respond to a few questions that we had. We could tell they would be very good & friendly hosts. Cottage was beautiful, comfortable & and had everything that we needed. We spent most of our time in the lake or on the private dock, kayaking, boating & fishing.We brought our small fishing boat which had motor issues immediately. Greg went out of his way to help try to get it running. Much appreciated! We are already planning our trip for next year and would definitely go back to Eagle's Nest or one of Greg & Christine's other homes to bring more family with us. We had a wonderful time!

Excellent property

Very newly renovated, nice property. Owners are very responsive and friendly. Great boat access to the lake. Boat ramp itself is very close by, although it's a rough mix of concrete and gravel. I recommend 4WD. No biggie though, as there are marinas to launch nearby if needed.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at Eagle's Nest. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and exactly as described. We frequent Lake Anna at least once per summer, and are always looking for rentals to add to our short list. This one will be added for sure. One item to note is that in order to access the water, it is a bit of an incline down hill (and back up again) - it wasn't an issue for us, but for anyone who may have mobility issues, it's something to keep in mind.

Great Stay!

The house lived up to the listing, pictures, and overall expectations. Great location on the lake, clean water, and the house was in fantastic shape. Our family of 2 adults and 3 young kids made the cozy space work, but I wouldn't suggest a family larger than 5 or one with older kids. Space is at a premium inside (i.e. no closets in bedrooms), but no matter given all of the space we had outside!

Beautiful Lake Anna Home

This home is just as beautiful, if not more so, than the pictures! We had such a wonderful time for our first trip to Lake Anna! Christine and Greg were wonderful and very attentive to every little detail. They even left a welcome gift for us and our daughter who just graduated! It is the cleanest vacation rental we have stayed in by far and all the finishes are so well done. We will 100% be staying here again! Thank you so much for an amazing trip!

This property has everything you need and so much more! Wonderful location and view. The cottage is clean, fully equipped with technology, and had plenty of room for our family of 4. The parking and dock had more than enough space for our 16’ boat. We also used their kayaks and paddle board. Best of all, the hosts are incredible! We packed in so much fun to a long weekend away.

Beautiful Cottage & Perfect Location

I have stayed at numerous Vrbo rentals and this one is my top 3. From the communication prior to rental to the check-in through the check-out process, everything was seemless. The place was perfect and I rarely say that about a rental. The house was beautifully updated, clean, and the location in a cove was perfect for whatever water activity you wanted to do. The host even supplied fire starters for the unique firepit. Best wood grilled steaks I've been able to cook! The house has some really cool features like an internet connected refrigerator, a bathroom speaker you can connect via bluetooth and a large size TV in the main area. Definitely stay there again.

A very memorable stay. We loved it!

Our family of 5 (two adults and three kids ages 7, 7 and 3.5) really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Eagle's Nest Cottage on Lake Anna. This was our first time visiting Lake Anna. I specifically chose this rental for the amazing view, the ability to swim on the property, the kayaks and paddle boat, the queen sized bunk beds and the fact it was fully renovated. This property did not disappoint. The views of the lake were beautiful. The sun came up over the tree line behind the lake and it was so nice to sit outside on the deck or on the pier in one of the adirondack chairs with a coffee and watch the sky change colors and listen to all the birds singing as the sun came up. We loved watching the lake sparkle and dance with sunlight throughout the day. The cottage was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the bath towels were thick and plush. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, including spices to cook with. My kids loved the bunk beds, which were clearly custom built and very sturdy. There were plenty of games for all ages and we enjoyed playing Twister, Charades and Guesstures and corn hole outside. The kids loved drawing pictures and writing each other notes on the refrigerator LCD screen. They also loved the color changing fireplace and lights in the bathroom. We enjoyed taking out the paddle boat and kayaks and fishing from the pier. The kids enjoyed swimming and collecting clam shells. Christine was very responsive and so very kind. Just perfect!!
