This place was a nice and convenient place to stay if you are just going on a day trip. I did find a slug on the bathroom wall. And I didn’t know that there was a door in the bedroom that separated the main house to the part I stayed in. Idk if the host stays there in the other part of the house. I did find that creepy to be honest, especially with them not telling you about it. But overall it was nice.

Terrible communication with host

Terrible communication with host. Contacted 3 days prior to arrival, host replied stated check in details would be provided closer to stay. Day of stay contacted host to let him know we had landed at airport 30 minutes away. Contacted again at 4:30 asking for check in details. By 6 pm host had not responded. We had to book alternate stay at a local hotel. I contacted Vrbo, and they attempted to contact host with no response either. Vrbo customer service was very supportive, refunded our stay plus paid the difference of our hotel cost. Host finally responded at 6:30 after Vrbo had tried contacting them.

The place was cozy and lovely and so “Van Gogh.” The fascinating book about Van Gogh on the coffee table was a great touch ! I am handicapped and it was so usable for me . Next time I go to Denton I know where I’ll be staying !

The house was perfect for our short trip in Denton. Close to Denton Square, which we loved. A lot of convenient places to eat. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and cute as all heck. We will definitely come back!

Awesome option for travelers and locals alike! We had a few days between one lease and the next and preferred a more private location due to traveling with a young child. The location was perfectly priced, super clean, and so convenient! Someone clearly put a lot of time and attention into detail! Would recommend again!

Overall Very Pleasant stay

I enjoyed my stay, but there are a few things that I wanted to mention. The Keurig did not have a filter so it was beeping that it needed to be descaled leaving me with the impression that it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There was a Britta water filter jug in the refrigerator that the filter hasn’t been changed. I recommend getting a new one or just throwing it out.. the website says central AC and heat. The heat was a space heater and the cord got really hot.. . I believe the cute yellow quilt could use a good cleaning, including the pillow shams.. owner was very receptive when I needed anything and brought extra towels that I requested. It seems silly that I would think that there was a washer and dryer as stated in the amenities, not realizing that apparently it’s some type of community washer dryer and not in the unit.

Shower wasn't great.

The size and location worked out great for us. I can't give 5 stars, because we couldn't manage to shower without soaking the bathroom floor. The shower head was too large for the tiny shower. It seems as we weren't the only ones with this problem. The bottom of the door frame was showing signs of rot. It would have also been nice to have had a stand to put our suitcase on. Other than that, we had everything we needed.

NICE QUAINT SPOT

This is a nice spot. This was my second time staying here which says a lot. Although it’s in a very quiet neighborhood, it is close to the train tracks and you do get your occasional train that goes by, but I believe it somehow adds to the ambience of the place. The only thing that was off a bit was the kitchen sink faucet was loose and it made it difficult to gauge the water temperature and my partner was scolded by the hot water on a couple of occasions. Take care of this issue and it’s a near perfect stay. One last thing I would suggest is putting an extra set of towels in the cabinet in the bedroom, for those of us who may stay a week or longer.
