This newly renovated, super cozy house is in the perfect location conveniently close to downtown, shopping, restaurants, parks, museums, biking, hiking, theaters, University of Tennessee and the Great Smokies! Come enjoy our home while exploring the area, in town for the big game, great events and festivals, 5-star dining, work, or visiting friends and family! And spend some time in the great Smoky Mountains, with hiking, sightseeing, horseback riding, and great area attractions!
*We cannot do early check-ins or late check-outs from Memorial Day to New Years Day.
*All late check-outs have to be pre-approved 24 hours in advance or a $100 fine will be charged if you stay past check-out time without permission.

Aspectos positivos: Limpieza, instalaciones y estado del alojamiento y comunicación

This place was charming and comfortable, and the hosts were easy to communicate with and provided very clear instructions. We had a bit of trouble with our navigation taking us to a road beyond the driveway, but we figured out pretty quickly where to access the property. We had everything we needed on our short weekend stay and were a quick drive from all we wanted to do. All in all, we recommend this property!

Comfy, cosey - and dangerous!

I had a marvelous five-star stay at the Comfy Cosey House. The house really did feel like a cottage. The atmosphere was enhanced by the decor. I was marvelously comfortable there, and have it in mind to stay there again. + Why the three star rating? There was one glaring issue that was a serious concern!! I happen to be disabled (veteran).. I am ambulatory with the occasional use of a cane. The exterior stairs were a near insurmountable obstacle for me. Not the stairs immediately attached to the house! That set of stairs has a good, strong railing. The problem is the lower stairs, immediate to the driveway. Those stairs are aged, crumbling and have no railing at all. Those steps are oddly shaped and oddly spaced. On ascending just thee steps on arrival, I lost my balance and nearly fell. I DEFINITELY had to use a cane to struggle up those stairs. + The condition of the stairs made it impossible for me to unload my luggage. I had to place my luggage on the retaining wall at the rear of the driveway. Then I had to use the back door to get my luggage into the house. + On departure, I had learned the overall topography of the property, and parked my vehicle in the neighboring church parking lot. Again using the house’s back door, I was able to repack my things. + I will suggest to you that the lower stairs in their current state of repair are a lawsuit waiting to happen!! The ultimate solution would be to replace that set of stairs. A simple quick fix would be to install a viable railing. Railings on both sides of the stairs would be even better. + I shall be returning to Knoxville to visit my favorite gal pal, and I do want to stay in the house again. But, on making my next reservation, my first question will be whether the lower stairs have been repaired.

Cozy Down home

Property pictures did not do it justice. The cottage/home being an older home did nothing but add to its allure. Televisions in every bedroom , beautiful fire place. Kitchen with amenities for extended stays. Washer and dryer!
