Secluded home in private lake community with dock access for day use. Property has plenty of room to house your boat or jet skis. The house is on 3.5 secluded, wooded acres just a stone's throw from the community dock. The house is not on the lake.

-Three bedroom, 2 bath house that sleeps 6 comfortably
-Fully stocked kitchen
-Outdoor gas grill
-Outdoor gazebo with seating on back deck
-Two sit on style kayaks available for use **Life jackets NOT included
-Day use of community dock with boat launch
-Carport with electric available to charge batteries
-Hot tub is available seasonally **Please inquire about availability before booking your stay

Property is private and wooded with plenty of wild life. Twenty minutes to Gretna, VA for shopping and restaurants. Minutes from the Smith Mountain Lake dam. Approximately 30 minutes from Smith Mountain Lake area attractions

We couldn't believe how well outfitted the kitchen was - by far the most homely kitchen we've ever had at a private home. We loved our time - cozy and relaxing for our inaugural book club retreat. Great for a getaway!

beautiful country roads lead to a quiet community where this home is nestled. This home and property are peaceful and filled with nature and wildlife. The home is very comfortable with everything you need. The hostess is very responsive and very helpful. Would stay here again.

The house and property were very nice; comfortable, clean and definitely secluded and enjoyable. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, privacy and all of the wonderful deer that come around the property was awesome. We even bought extra food just for the deer and were able to get so close to them. The owner was very attentive to issues and quick to help. The downsides we encountered: the grill wasn’t anything we would use and needs to be replaced. We found the Leesville Lake is not Sea Doo friendly, at least the time of year we were here (and seems it would be difficult to maneuver any boats with the debris that moves with the intake/output from the dams). We didn’t read the description well enough to see the house was as far from the lake as it was. It was nice that we were close enough to Smith Mountain Lake boat ramps-this was a plus. Overall-this is definitely a place that was truly enjoyable and we would even return again to this beautiful area!

My husband and I absolutely loved this house. The hosts were professional, pleasant, accomodative, and communicated very well. The house was stocked with what we needed. The atmosphere was serene, relaxing, just simply everything we needed to rejuvenate . My only negative is that I thought we would have access to the lake since it is categorized as a lake house. However, I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely retreat in the woods

My friends and I enjoyed a lovely stay at this retreat in the woods. Everything was clean, organized, and as advertised. The whole experience was easy and relaxing. We had a chance to use the kayaks which were easily accessible and lightweight. I loved watching the deer each morning from the covered part of the deck

The lake cabin

It was so clean and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful and walking up to deer and relaxing to lightning bugs reminded me of myChildhood. We truly enjoyed our time at the house while in town for a bowling tournament. I had a couple questions and Carrie was quick to respond.

Perfect getaway

Peace of Heaven

The house was very beautiful and had everything you would ever need. I highly recommend this place to stay for a weekend getaway or a week’s vacation to just relax and be at peace. The Master Bed is very cozy as well. I will definitely be back again

Beautiful getaway

The house was very clean and festive. We stayed right after Christmas and the house was decorated in every room. The house was a nice getaway into the nice Virginia mountains. Very relaxing!!

Amazing quiet home

Everything was clean, organized, with a beautiful environment. Saw deer, beautiful colored birds and loved the walks we took. Being by the water was pleasantly calming. It was a nice stay getting away from the noise from the city. We would definitely come back again! Thank you for having us!

Best vacation place!

This home was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and hospitable. From the seasonal decor, to the highly comfortable bed, to the well stocked kitchen, well-maintained hot tub, scented candle and defuser features, and more- all was just perfect. The location is private and a lovely walk to a beautiful dock was. A crowning feature. Thank you.

Lovely cabin in the woods

Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. The home is beautifully decorated inviting and extremely clean. You can tell the hosts truly think about what a guest would want or need and they go above and beyond I can't wait to come back

Lovely home that has to be the most well-equipped rental we’ve ever stayed in. The beds are beyond comfortable, the home sparkling clean, spacious and wonderful decor. The host was super responsive when we were concerned about the weather. The small yet impressive personal touches really landed well with our group! We’ll be back for certain! Thank you!
