Great place and wonderful location! Only downside is the noise at night given it is right in the middle of where all the restaurants/bars are. Bring a sound machine to help you sleep at night.

The location was great. Its a very nice complex. Communication with the host was very good. The place was very nice. Beds were very comfortable. The only small minus was the level of noice on the weekend nights in the main bedroom. I would think that would not be an issue at all durring winter. The convienience and set up of the apartment made up for it.

We had a very interesting interesting stay. We felt like we were on the sitcom Cheers. The property was located in from of several bars. Because of this I could get pretty loud and night, sometimes all night. The location walkable and our host was responsive.

Lovely Armory Square location

Beautiful well-maintained apartment. Perfect location in the heart of Armory Square. Holiday decorations and close proximity to Destiny USA for Black Friday shopping were a nice bonus. Will book again!

We recently stayed two nights to see Metallica at the JMA Dome. The host was very responsive and even let us check into the condo an hour early. The condo was clean and had all the necessary amenities needed for our stay. Couple things to note, the windows are NOT soundproof and on busy Friday and Saturday nights downtown, you will hear EVERYTHING. The bar fights at closing time were a concern and scary to listen to. This is not at the fault of the host, just letting others know that might be traveling with children.

Perfect location but noisy

Everything went very well. It was clean, hosts were great. The location is simply fabulous. The one issue is noise. Street level noise is louder in the apartment than on the street, and this is the loudest street in Syracuse right up until 2AM. As we were out and about it was not a big issue, but if you are a light sleeper and looking to go to bed early, it likely would be distracting.

Modern duplex apartment with plenty of light, open plan kitchen/dining/living room area and upstairs

We came for the NY State Fair in August, so central a/c was appreciated, as was the convenient free parking in the garage. This apartment is reached via elevator or stairs to a lovely 2nd level courtyard. Host provided coffee, herbal tea and other immediate needs to get us started each morning. We ate out at 3 very good local restaurants in easy walking distance. Perhaps not OK for individuals very sensitive to old smoking odors which might still be lingering in the HVAC ducts, but since everything is new and clean, did not bother the 3 of us. All considered, a choice apartment in a very good location in Syracuse!

Wonderful location if visiting Syracuse University!

We booked this property in order to visit SU for my teen daughter. Communication with Volodymyr was impeccable. He responded to all messages and requests within minutes. Unfortunately the unit still has residual smoke smell from a previously poor renter, and so that made the visit tough at times. Volodymyr did everything he could to try and make our stay as enjoyable as he could and he was very accommodating. I did make some suggestions to him about the rental and I imagine that in the future it will become a FANTASTIC place to stay. The location is great, right in the heart of downtown Syracuse with tons of restaurants and coffee shops just steps away. We even used the little spa around the corner as my birthday had just passed. Sometimes you never know the kind of person from whom you are renting. But this person is wonderful!!

Good deal on a great location if you don't mind a few issues

The property is spacious and perfectly located. Nice size bedrooms, big open kitchen/living area and clean updated bathroom. Nice big bay windows on both floors. Parking included is a nice bonus. If you're sensitive to odor, you may not like it. It's not pervasive throughout the unit but when you first walk in, there is a cigarette smell combined with harsh cleaner and glade plug-in that assaults your senses. We brought an air purifier and natural scented candles that didn't make a difference. Previous guests mentioned it so I asked before booking and host said they got the smell out but this is a long-term, baked in cigarette smell that's not going anywhere. There's also a urine smell when you enter the building from the street. That's just city life. The other thing to know is that the windows are not at all sound proof. On a slow Sunday night, I heard every movement, conversation, commotion 3 levels down on the street. It was cacophonous. I really appreciated how clean the bathroom was and the fresh clean towels and bedding. However, the kitchen counters, night stands, etc. weren't as clean. Looked like someone was in a rush and missed a few spots or didn't wipe down at all in other areas. I had some cleaner and wiped things down myself and then it was fine. The host was awesome in terms of responsiveness to my questions. If you're not sensitive to smells and pack your ear plugs, this place is a great deal.
