About this space
Take an early morning stroll and enjoy the Wilson Park Fountain. Wander around the historic streets of the University of North Alabama while the city sleeps, then head back for a morning coffee at this stunning duplex with a lifted patio overseeing a part of downtown Florence. We are a pet friendly VRBO and there is a $50 pet fee per animal(:

The space:
This space is a duplex with its own entrance and parking. You do not ever have to interact with other people. You do not share anything at all it is, its own space. This home is on the 2nd floor. If the duplex is rented out from underneath you will have neighbors at the bottom of you. Rest assure we only allow guests to stay here with good track record, (good reviews) I am a super host and have been for a long time now. I will always do my best to ensure my guests enjoy the most out of there stay.

Guest access:
You will have access to the entire backyard. Fully fenced! With extra parking on the outside for large boats.

This property truly felt like a home away from home. It was exceptionally clean and had every possible amenity. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. We loved the privacy of the fenced in yard. We will definitely book again, if in the area.

Amazing!

We were traveling with our dog. This place was absolutely PERECT. It was clean, it was convenient, it was comfortable, and the perfect spot to stay with a pet. We will absolutely stay here again if the opportunity presents. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Great spot!

Great spot. Great location. It rained the whole time and we really enjoyed sitting on the covered patio while listening to it. Plenty of areas to lounge around in. We were cozy. Loved that the car was gated in the fenced in backyard. If there was anything I’d add it would be a wine bottle opener and some more ambient light options. Loved this spot. I’ll definitely stay again.

Carlos was a great host - we had a maintenance issue and he had someone out within the hour and great communication all throughout. Perfect size place for us and two dogs and the fenced yard was great. Thank you again Carlos

Visiting with my Daughter

I loved staying at this property and will use it again during my Mother/Daughter visits. I live in a small town in Florida near Tallahassee.My visit to see my daughter and her family was about an eight-hour trip. It was so relaxing, welcoming, and comforting to be able to just drive up, go on in, and make myself at home. The owner was terrific and very helpful. My daughter had already recommended the place to two other families who recently stayed and loved it! I can't say enough about my stay and how pleased I was. I will be back! Rhonda Baker Morgan

Downtown Florence Duplex

First the listing and pictures are accurate depiction of the rental. Bed comfortable. Overall needs TLC..Refrigerator needs a good cleaning. Front door the window was full of smudges. Edison light on deck did not work. Only 3 glasses for entire place. One night people in downstairs were fighting and kept me awake for almost 2 hours. Paper thin walls that you were fighfor o

The "Downtown Gem" is an ideal description of the well appoinred comfortable property just a few blocks from the business district. If you are wondering about the neighborhood, well it's on the same street as he only Frank Loyd Wright house in Alabama . The only downside we experienced can not be ignored. Communication from the owner was non existent and it was very stressful wondering if we had a place to stay up until hours before check in. The voice mail box was always full and emails not answered. We are learning though that Expedia's system is at least partially responsible for this and VRBO's is just as bad. We will give the owner slack because the support system is awful. It is a fantastic stay at great value!

Cute but lacking

We stayed in the unit upstairs. It’s a cute little place which appeared newly renovated. Renovation was subpar. Floors uneven, which created flooring to crack, electrical outlets pushed inward when plugging anything into it, and bathroom door swings into toilet instead of wall. It worked for the 2 of us but for being advertised to accommodate 4 people there was not adequate supplies for 4…. only 2 glasses, 3 towels, 2 wash clothes.
