The Moonstone - A Stellar Cabin

Welcome to The Moonstone, an awe inspiring cabin centrally located in Hocking Hills. This cabin has been thoughtfully designed and the result is nothing but stellar. You will find plenty of entertainment options at The Moonstone cabin. Swing by the fire with your friends or unwind in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Perhaps relax reading a book overlooking the massive rock formation behind the property or enjoy an outdoor meal from the smoker grill under the shades of the trees.

The Moonstone offers multiple decks with cozy seating areas, a covered gazebo for those rainy days and an outdoor dining area with smoker grill. The Moonstone is conveniently located just 5 minute from Rock House and Cantwell Cliffs and less than 25 minutes to Old Man’s Cave and Ash Cave.

The cabin offers four bedrooms with comfy king size beds and 3 full bathrooms for the comfort of all guests. There is also high speed internet available through Starlink. Each bedroom has its own smart TV that you can stream videos and watch your favorite shows.

We had an amazing time staying at this wonderful cabin. The kitchen was well stocked; we bought food for our meals and were able to prepare everything. The wifi worked great, we had fun streaming shows and movies. The setup was excellent; we played games around the dining table and set up puzzles on the small round table. We are recommending this cabin to any friends that will be visiting Hocking Hills.

Enjoyed our stay especially back porch and fire pit. House was clean and as described in listing. My only suggestion is the towels need to be replaced, had musty smell even after washing them. Minor issueHost was great, we forgot an item but it was shipped to us right away. Thanks again!Quiet neighborhood, close to what we were interested in doing/seeing

The cabin is near neighbors but feels very private. Its in a very quiet area. It was clean and stocked with blankets and towels and coffee. The porch is lovely, although unfortunately due to the rain we didn't get to enjoy it. We would absolutely stay again! The host was very communicative.

Very nice accommodations. For our group of 4 couples, there was plenty of space, indoors and out, with the exception of a smallish kitchen. The kitchen has modern appliances, however, and is fully stocked with utensils, dishware and cookware. The host was prompt and courteous with our questions. We should rent this house again for a largegroup.

We were looking for a last minute holiday weekend getaway and could not be happier to have found this gem! Angel was great at communicating from booking to checkout and provided clear instructions and great tips. Bonus points for having a QR code for the WiFi login and checkout instructions posted by the front door! Quiet and peaceful, beautifully decorated inside and out with little extras that won the teens over like the upstairs balcony and swings by the fire. We travel quite a bit and this is the first place the kiddos are asking to go back to stay again!

Easy check in. Great amenities-everything you need in the kitchen and throughout the house. Very comfortable beds. Would give a 5 if the barbecue was working properly. Pellet smoker did not work as expected. Only 1 kitchen towel and no recycling available. Otherwise this is a perfect place for a large group visiting the Hocking Hills area.

Stone driveway was challenging. No shower or closet in Master Bedroom was disappointing. Beautiful tub but not for us. Couches in living room were pretty but very unconformable. Everything else was great. We d recommend it to our friends.

College reunion

The house was perfect for 8 adults. Everyone appreciated the king beds. The kitchen was well stocked and we prepared many meals at the house. The deck area was great for spending time together. There were several seating areas for 8 people. The neighborhood was private and quiet and yet close to activities in Hocking Hills State Park and Logan. The host was timely with communication and we had no issues at the house. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend this house.

Great house and beautiful scenery

The home was very spacious and easily accommodated four married couples. Bedrooms were large with king beds, a good sized closet, bed-side tables and dresser. Everything was spotless including the kitchen and bathrooms. When it wasn’t too hot we enjoyed sitting out on the big back deck. The scenery around the home was woodsy and it was located on a road that had minimal traffic, so It was nice and quiet. We ate all of our meals there, and had all the cooking utensils we needed. I highly recommend.

We stayed four days and loved it! Adequate space for 7 of us. House was clean, although floors could have been a little cleaner. Beds were comfortable. Overall it was very nice stay and I would definitely consider this house again when we return to Hocking Hills.

An Enjoyable Weekend Getaway

My friends and I just wanted to meet up and enjoy time together. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all that was necessary and the internet was very good, which was important for the group of game fanatics gathered. Would stay here again.

Wonderful property and relaxing stay!

The Moonstone is a beautiful property with many ammenities! 3 friends and I stayed for a mother's day weekend girl's trip. Our stay was lovely and relaxing! Our host was very communicative and responsive. Check-in and check-out were both very easy. We will definitely be back to the Moonstone and have already recommended it to friends and family. Weekend family Getaway

Had a great time. House was wonderful and had everything you could have asked for! Host very quick to respond! Would encourage a deck box or somewhere inside to store outdoor chair cushions so they aren't soaked when it rains, but that is minor and just a recommendation. Would stay again if back in the area!

Wonderful Stay!!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this VRBO! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and matched the listing perfectly. The host was warm, responsive, and made check-in effortless, letting us know he was available if we needed anything during our stay. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches—like fresh coffee, clean towels and linens, and a great selection of games. The peaceful, wooded surroundings offered so much privacy and made for a relaxing atmosphere. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Stunning Cabin

The property was perfect for our getaway. The entire layout worked for our group of 4 couples. We had a rough weather weekend, but we all felt comfortable and were able to spend some much needed time together. The outdoor spaces are something that would be awesome to spend time in.

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful time at Moonstone. It is only a short drive ( max 20 minutes) to Hocking Hills hiking trails .The house is clean, well kept and is great place to hang out with the family . Great outside areas too . We will stay here again .

Great house for a group of friends!

We had a great stay at Moonstone! The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults, offering plenty of space and comfort. The fire pit and back porch were definite highlights – we spent mornings and evenings out there. The location was great, just a short 15-20 minute drive to Old Man’s Cave and Hocking Hills Winery, and Kroger. Highly recommend this place!
