Cozy Beach Front Cottage Pet Friendly

Our Cozy Beach Front Cottage is located directly on the Delaware Bay in Slaughter Beach! This UNIQUE Waterfront home with Beach Access from the street up to the high-water line. If you have always dreamed of vacationing steps to the beach, this is the home for you! This unique and quirky beachfront cottage is about 1000 square feet, features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and is ONLY STEPS TO THE BEACH. The kitchen is open to the living room and a small dining/breakfast nook. Slaughter Beach has a Fire Department, public tennis/pickleball courts, children play area and public basketball courts. Just a minute to Cedar Creek Marina and the DuPont Nature Center and about 7 miles to the new BayHealth Medical Center. Please note we have installed exterior camera for security purposes, and to monitor that our rental policies are upheld.

Great cozy cottage, clean and well stocked with the basics. Loved how close the beach is and how you can sit and watch the bay from the deck. Plenty of parking, awesome quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable mattresses on the beds for a great nights sleep. Thank you for sharing your home!

We unfortunately had 1 and 1/2 days of nice weather due to hurricane Erin we took advantage of the nearby parks for our exercise with our Labrador retriever. He needs to keep busy.

Great place and clean

Had a great stay. Host was communicative and quick with replying to any questions I had. The home was clean and described as listed. The beach was quiet and private. Would definitely book another stay here.

Amazing Cozy Cottage

My wife and I wanted to find a place that allowed dogs on the beach, we have a 1 year old Dachshund Shirley. Let me say the Cozy Cottage met all of our needs, the place was amazing! We loved the access to the beach from the property, it was a very quiet and peaceful area, we absolutely loved it and will be back again! Thank you so much Yesenia you’re awesome!

Cute little place

Great stay for a couple. Cozy home, quiet neighborhood, kitchen had all we needed as we brought food to heat and eat. We went birding at a bunch of parks. The beach was pretty private only a handful of people walking, no loud kids, really relaxing.

Relaxing and quiet

Myself, my husband and our Golden Retriever loved the Cozy Beach Cottage! It was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. They provide everything but towels. The beach is pretty private with none of the craziness of the big beaches. Host was easy to communicate with also. Would absolutely reccomend and we would love to return again next year.

Lovely Cozy Cottage

The cottage was very clean and neat. There were a number of accoutrements available that you don’t normally find. The beauty of being able to walk to the beach thru the pathway out back was terrific. The host was helpful with all questions and very responsive.if you’re looking for quiet, it’s definitely a great place to stay.

Great for families with small kids

The cozy cottage is just that. We were 2 families with 2 toddlers in each. The cottage was just the right size for us and Slaughter beach is the perfect beach for young families. We'll be back next year

Amazing stay at this lovely property! I stayed with my 70 year old parents for a family beach trip. The home is so convenient, right on a lovely private beach just steps away from the back door. It had everything we needed and more. And bonus that my dog was able to join us - and enjoy the beach as well!

Slaughter Beach Gem!

What a great little cottage on Quiet Slaughter Beach! We visited the area for a LAX tournament at the Turf Fields in Frederika and this cottage was just 20 minutes away! The owner was very responsive to questions I had as we were preparing for our trip. This cottage comfortably accommodated our family 5 and was very clean and tidy. 2 bathrooms allowed everyone to shower after a day at the beach and not run out of hot water. Washer dryer were a bonus and reminded me how much I miss mine from 30 years ago! The living area accommodated all of us on the couch and gave a nice place for naps. Bonus the cottage is dog friendly, but so clean you would never know! Beach is rocky but clean and doesn’t smell. Not a lot of dead horseshoe crabs (we were there during peak time for them to wash up). This is a great section of Slaughter Beach with just enough waves to keep the beach clean and water clear. Water is shallow and you can walk out pretty far. Bring water shoes if you like to spend time on the beach. Pack binoculars if you like to check out the ships heading into the port. There are plenty of chairs, umbrellas and yard games. When we needed a break from the beach, the deck was fantastic. Slaughter Beach is in a remote area with beach homes. There are many dining options within 15 minutes. We enjoyed dining locally at Burgers & Brews, Tequilla Real and Pizza Takeout from Polisenos. If you are visiting the area STAY HERE! We loved it!

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfy cottage by bay. The yard leads to a path right to your own private beach. Quiet surroundings made our stay peaceful! Would recommend!

Wonderful location

This was the perfect place for our family Vaca!! Very clean and well stocked with essentials. A lot of privacy is provided by the shrubbery and the beach is just a few steps away. We were 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 small dogs and we did not feel crowded at all. Loved it and definitely hope to return again. The sunrises on the beach were spectacular and there is a wildlife viewing area within walking distance for the most glorious sunsets. Definitely recommend.

Nice cottage by the shore.

The property was clean with quality linen for the beds and 4 TVs in total. It’s only a few steps from a dog friendly beach. It has the basics you would need for your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, if you want to cook larger meals or special meals get your own utensils but what they have is generally enough.The cottage even had biscuits for dogs as well as four dog bowls. It’s quite cozy and relaxing. They also had a few games for the evening. The terrace on the top was closed but they had another one next to the garage. We could imagine to come back next year.

Wonderful Trip!

My husband, dog & I had a great time! The cottage is clean and well-stocked. All expectations were clearly communicated. Love being able to trek just a few feet to the beach and get some sun on the deck. We've been staying in this area for 10+ years and are so appreciative of those who open up their property to include dogs so we can make it a true family vacation.

Our New Home Away from Home

I can't express how wonderful our stay was at the Cozy Beach Front Cottage and what it meant to me and my sister that our little Fur babies could come and be with us on our family vacation. The property owners are wonderful and really think about the needs of your pets at their Cottage and as well with our needs with just little things that you really appreciate. Me and my mom both have trouble walking so having that short distance to the beach was so nice and the beach is very quiet and relaxing. Also the owners have a building going down towards the beach that had plenty of chairs and umbrellas and other handy things. Also your close to many restaurants and stores and can even have Walmart deliver your groceries but you have to pay for your bags in most stores in Delaware. Needless to say this is our new summer rental.
