Welcome Admiral's Abode in the Whalehead Beach Club by Good Day Getaways!

We'd love to host you and your family at our fully stocked condo in Corolla!

Escape to our beautiful coastal cottage in Corolla! Experience OBX life as you listen to the waves, unwind and de-stress.

Our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cottage offers the perfect combination of comfort and coastal style. Whether you're looking to relax and unwind or explore all that Corolla has to offer, our property has you covered. you'll be a short 2min walk to the beach and can bring your dog! Cool off in the large heated community pool in the community, or explore the Corolla Light town center and historic areas. You'll have access to a variety of shopping, restaurants, and attractions, making it easy to enjoy all that the area has to offer. At our place, you'll have the best of both worlds - a relaxing retreat and easy access to all the action!

Livingroom/Kitchen:
- Open floor plan kitchen with stone countertops and stainless steel appliances.
- Drip + Keurig Coffee maker
- Stocked with cooking utensils & pots/pans.
- Livingroom with great seating, a sleeper sofa and large smart TV
- Boardgames and puzzles for the fam!

Bedroom 1:
- King bed, en suite full tiled bathroom. w/Smart TV

Bedroom 2:
- King bed, en suite bathroom w/Smart TV

Outdoor space:
- Beautiful semi-private front patio with seating
- Gas Grill
- Outdoor shower
- Outdoor Beach Gear closet with a Trolley, boogie boards, beach toys, chairs and umbrella!
- Large Community heated Salt Water Pool

Linens and Towels:
- Per advertised guest: 1 Beach towel, bath towel, hand towel and face towel.
- Beds will be made prior to arrival.
- We provide starter paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and coffee/tea.

We are dog lovers and accept dogs! (Dog fee is per dog. Sorry, no cats allowed)

What a cute place, centrally located with easy access to the beach. The unit is in great condition and well stocked. We look forward to visiting again!

Clean and modern, just a few steps from the beach

We loved our stay at this property. The apartment was modern and very clean. The kitchen had sufficient dishes and utensils to do real cooking. The neighborhood is cute with nice landscaping. The pool area looked very nice, even though we did not get to enjoy it in November. And we were steps from the beach and from the cute village of Corolla. The only thing we missed was having a spare blanket as the bed comforter is very thin and it got chilly at night. We will be back for sure.

Fabulous stay

I cannot say enough about this beach house. Communication was excellent, amenities were top notch, super clean, and charming. We spent our days walking to the beach, the pool, the nearby shops, and quick trips to town for food. Scott has made this the perfect getaway!

Best family vacation!

Everything about this location and property was awesome. Very clean. Super easy to check in and out. Scott was incredibly responsive. It was right next to a center with food, shopping and activities (putt putt and arcade). It was a short walk to the beach. We brought our dog and there was even a dog run/park. We are already looking at when we can rebook!

Wonderful Vacation

This was our first time staying here and we absolutely loved it! Perfect for our family plus our dog. Fully stocked with all the needs of home while providing the relaxation of being on vacation. Location is great and easy beach access. Walking distance to the pool and shops. The owner was also great with communication and making sure we had all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. We definitely hope to book again!

Great for Small Family

Great house for a small family - we brought a baby and toddler and enjoyed having both beach and pool in walking distance (as well as food and brand new playground). The lifeguard stand is right next to this beach entrance which helps with kids. Beach wagon, pack and play, and kids cups/plates already there.

Great Getaway

This property was ideal for our short stay. The condo/bungalow was clean and had everything we needed. The location was within walking distance to one of our favorite restaurants and Whalehead Park. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great Spot and Great Host

Super easy check in and check out. The host was great to work with. It's walking distance to the lighthouse, waterfowl museum, Whalehead Club, restaurants, and of course the beach. Just a short drive to the 4x4 beach access and wild horses too. Great for a family getaway, duck hunters or surf fishing.

Responsive, clean, and well furnished

Scott was extremely helpful throughout our stay and even offered us an extra night at a discounted rate. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed and more. The house was very clean and the location was outstanding!

Fantastic!

This property was every bit as beautiful as the photos and descriptions. Seemingly brand new, with very nice furniture and furnishings, a fully-stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and very convenient access to the beach! We didn't use the pool, but it was very nice also (with private cabanas featuring music, TVs, fans, and fridges). The property owner (Scott) was very responsive to messages and even extended our checkout by a couple of hours. We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Perfect spot for a small family

Perfect space for a small family vacation. There was construction nearby, but we didn't hear a sound and it was never in the way. Scott sent great information and everything was easy to find and access. Pictures were perfectly represented. Kitchen was fully stocked, beds were comfortable, and it was clean. The beach was very close and less than a 5 minute walk. I loved that the beach access was right next to the life guard station so I felt safer with the kids in the water. A grocery store and restaurants were within a 5-10 minute drive. All around a great place to vacation!

Great Corolla Beach stay!

Loved our stay at this beautifully decorated and perfectly located 2 bed/2bath. It’s a three minute walk to Corolla beach which is pet friendly! The pool was nice for late afternoon dips and everyone enjoyed everything Corolla had to offer.
