Welcome to "The Live Oak"! This dog friendly cottage is in a new oceanside community, only a 5 minute walk to the beach! Walk to nearby restaurants, Corolla Park and Corolla Village within 3-10 minutes!

The community features a pool which is available seasonally (mid May to mid October)! Whether you choose to enjoy beach time, a visit to the Lighthouse, a short walk to dinner or to pick up a fresh cup of coffee, we've got you covered! This Dog Friendly Vacation Getaway is the perfect place for you and your family and friends to create amazing beach memories!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE SPACE AND LOCATION

This is a two-bedroom located within walking distance from the beach, Corolla Village and sound-side Corolla Park, where you can enjoy wildlife, kayaking and beautiful sunset views. We are also situated next to an airdown station, and just a few miles from the 4WD beach access, the wild horse sanctuary and Carova. Several restaurants and shops are within walking distance, a unique and convenient experience in Corolla!

The unit features two king beds and a queen pull out sofa. There is one ensuite bathroom, as well as a second "jack-and-jill" style bathroom, with access to the hall and second bedroom, which can easily be treated as a second ensuite. Perfect for couples or families and dog friendly!

The living space features an 8-foot island, with plenty of space to enjoy dinner with family and friends, play games or work remotely! It also features a fully stocked kitchen, with a dishwasher, blender, coffee pot/maker and plenty of cookware. A washer/dryer is located in the hallway closet. There is a private patio in the front where you can let towels dry after a long day at the beach. A grill and outdoor shower are also available on the side of the unit.

The development features a community pool, open mid May to mid October. It is heated when the air temperature is cooler. Poolside cabanas (managed separately) are available for rent.

Our family had a wonderful visit to Corolla & The Live Oak was just perfect for the 4 of us! Unit is walking distance to the beach and pool. Condo was very clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. Katy was a great host and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We can’t wait to come back and would definitely stay here again!

Nice place in good location

The place was very clean and well equipped. The beach was a short walk away. There was a restaurant adjacent that had outstanding tacos and other restaurants and a mini mart were within walking distance. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay so much that we booked another trip at the end of summer. The place is clean with everything you need and nothing you don’t. Perfect for our family of four with two young kids. The host is accommodating, prompt to respond, and was very hospitable from beginning to end. The location is perfect with relation to beach access and other attractions. We plan on being return guests for a long time!

Nice, Much needed Trip!

Very nice property & rental. Great pool, bar/snack area with tacos, dog park, close to shops and eating with a great bakery, arcade, putt putt. Our stay was quiet. It is close to the light house (you can walk), shops, eating, & a juice bar too. Rental looks like the pictures & was very very clean! We would recommend & would return to this location. You can walk to the beach too. & we went on an adventure tour where we saw wild horses & sand roads. Very enjoyable!

Great Stay and Location

My family and I loved our time here! The location was perfect for our family getaway. We were within walking distance of the lighthouse and the surrounding village, trails, food (including ice cream) and the beach. It was clean and cozy. Everything was as advertised. We would absolutely stay here again!

Valentines Day Getaway

This was my first visit to Corolla and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer accommodation. It was the off-season and we were prepared that a lot of restaurants and things would be closed, but there was plenty to do for the weekend. A quick walk to the beach, an adorable retreat. We will totally book another stay.

The condo was very convenient to the beach, restaurants, and shops. It was clean and comfortable. Katy was very helpful in answering several of our questions. We would stay there again if we go back to Corolla.

Relaxing and lovely

This property is wonderful. New, state of the art design, immaculate, three minutes walk to the beach and two minutes walk to the Corolla Lighthouse and historic Whalehead Club. It’s also a short walk to shop and restaurants. Most important for us, pets are welcome so our dog was able to accompany us! We all had a great stay!

Perfect location for exploring the area!

Well-kept, clean, and comfortable space in a super convenient location! Management was responsive to the few questions we had and I’d definitely recommend staying at this location, especially if you’re new to the area!

Amazing property

This property is new. We had one reserved parking space and visitor spaces directly outside the door of this one story duplex. We only needed to carry our suitcases about 20 feet from the car to the front door. The layout was perfect for 2 adult couples. Two bedrooms with king sized beds. The master suite includes a full bath. Another full bath has a door to the second bedroom. The living room and kitchen are in an open floor plan. kitchen is enormous and includes an 13 foot long counter and a 13 foot long island. We would love to put this kitchen in our house. The location is an easy walk to the beach and to Corola Light Plaza with Corola Wild Horse Tours and a number of good restaurants. It is directly across the road from Whalehead, the lighthouse, nature museum, maritime museum, park, Sound and nature trails. It is adjacent to the air down station for the 4x4 beach. It is located in a condo development with swiming pool and fitness center. The host responded quickly to all of our communications. We had no issues during our stay.

First time staying in Corrola. Really enjoyed the community feel of the complex. House ( duplex) was clean, comfortable. Perfect floor plan for 2 couples or couple with adult child. Ocean is two minute walk down private drive. Bath house. Pool. Will stay here again.

Off Season Getaway

Cute quiet complex with a short walk to the beach, lighthouse, playground & shops. Some construction is still taking place but did not interrupt our visit. Quaint condo equipped with kitchen, bath & laundry necessities. If we would have been staying during prime summertime I would have wanted to bring our own beach towels (just personal preference). This unit is on the end next to the sidewalk & main road, not sure what noise level would be during busy season.

Awesome place

Everything was beautiful. You're an easy walk away from the beach here. The home was very clean and well maintained. Instructions were very clear in the email. We plan to stay there again in the near future.

Perfect for Us

We wanted to travel with our 2 dogs (70 and 74 lbs) and this rental was one of the few that allowed 2 dogs without a weight limit. The location was great - easy walking to Whalehead park and to the beach. The unit was clean and free of pet smell and hair from previous visitors! Beds and pillows! were comfortable. Katy is good at replying to messages. It was perfect for us.

Nice Getaway

The unit is part of a new development in Corolla called the Beach Club at Whalehead.

We're well positioned on the corner of the property, with easy walking access to historic Whalehead Club, Corolla Lighthouse, Corolla Village, and Corolla Light Shopping Center, where you can find restaurants, rent bikes and arrange local tours.

The unit is about a 5-6 minute walk to the beach, a 5 minute drive to the Carova Beach 4WD access and a 10 minute drive to the Timbuck II shopping area.

NEED MORE SPACE? We can make arrangements with 2 other units in the complex to book them together when they are all available.
