Amazing location and very friendly host! Could use some more clearly printed directions about WiFi and check in/check out. However we’d definitely welcome another stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house. Any questions or issues we had were addressed in a prompt and friendly manner. It's a short walk to a beautiful beach. We may stay here again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay ! Check in was a bit confusing as we did not get the owners msg but they were immediately responsive ! House was roomy and well stocked for the most part ! We had 7 adults and two children under three and had plenty of room .

We had a great stay! Joanna was extremely responsive and accommodating. House was exactly what we were hoping for- close to the beach and boardwalk for easy walks to and from. We had babies that needed mid day naps and we could easily walk back from the beach to put them down for naps each day while the rest of our crew stayed on the beach. House was clean and well kept with all the amenities we needed. Also great backyard for our dog and wrap around porch our kiddos loved playing on. Highly recommend!

Long weekend in Point Pleasant

Our family had a wonderful time in Point Pleasant Beach. My granddaughter loved the beach and boardwalk all within a short walk from this very comfortable house.

Amazing quiet house 5 minutes from the boardwalk

I cannot say enough great things about the house and the owners. We had such a great stay and everything was spotless when we arrived. They had plenty of linens and it only took 5 minutes to get to the boardwalk/beach. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Vacation Rental

Our stay could not have been better! The house and location was just immaculate offering everything anyone could ever want and need. The owner was very accommodating and responsive when we needed a cake mixer to make a family member a birthday cake offering to drop these items to the house. We cannot wait to return next season!

Checked all the boxes

Plenty of rooms and beds, lots of space, nice neighborhood and convenient walk to beach. Kitchen was spacious with lots of plates, glasses, etc. We just wished for some basic amenities like aluminum foil or filtered water but that was minor. We were worried to leave the house and not lock it up but maybe there is little crime in the neighborhood. Overall, a nice stay.

A Pleasant Stay

This property was an excellent setting for a family beachside vacation. The house was two short blocks to the beach, in a location that wasn’t overcrowded yet close to boardwalk activities. The home was spacious and clean, and Joanna was an attentive and hospitable host. The only thing to note is that the sofas are not pull out double beds, as listed. While they are comfortable, I’d recommend bringing an air mattress if you are ten adults. All in all, we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this rental.

Very Disappointing

Upon arrival early afternoon, we found the house had not been cleaned. Dirty towels, disgusting stovetop, food remnants on surfaces along with ants. When we contacted our host, he initially asked if we would clean the property for a 100.00 refund. which we declined. A cleaning crew did not come until the next morning. Total neglect on our hosts part, considering we made reservations months in advance.The shower tub was not draining so we had to shower in standing water, The host came 2 days later after our complaint to fix it.As far as safety there are loose rungs on the stair banister. We discovered once our 3 year old almost fell through fortunately he was holding my hand.The phots are misleading and should be updated. There are stained slipcovers on the sofas and pillows. Additionally dead potted plants, non-functioning ice maker and kitchen exhaust fan. I took photos for the host, with no response to them.The host offered the night before we were checking out, aadditional night at no charge. Assuming we had a departure since we live out of state and would have to decline. Overall our rental for the week was very disappointing.What you can expect if you rent this home, is a close to the beach flop house.I hope future guests had a better experience, BUT I would recommend considering other properties in the area.

The vacation term was changed with the host to Sep 03 to Sep 13. I asked if I had to confirm with Vrbo and the reply was "will leave as is", so when I arrived the house was NOT cleaned. I cleaned up what I could, washed towels in a broken washing machine and made beds. One cleaner was sent the next day and waited 4 1/2 hours for her to finish. Waited another day for the washing machine to be replaced and then I had to clean up the mess one of the men made in the bathroom. The LR electrical outlets did not work (fixed next day), no electrical outlets in the upstairs bathroom, window blinds were broke and dirty, the "step" between the kitchen & DR was a tripping hazard, bedding had stains, and there were a lot of sugar ants. This house was not worth the money that was charged. I requested a refund in the amount of 2,275. for the inconvenience and unpleasant time that was had but the owners have not responded so I am forwarding this to Vrbo and I would appreciate a response from you. After this experience, I would not recommend Vrbo or stay in this house again.

We had a wonderful stay with my whole family. The owners were very responsive when we needed anything. Everything was provided including sheets, towels, soap and laundry detergent. The location was wonderful and so close to the beach and boardwalk.

Great Location

The best thing about the house is the location to the beach and boardwalk. It was a 5 minute walk! That said, the house was a little tired - bedroom doors are difficult to close, bathroom leaked, microwave was not always working, etc. It should be noted that the second bathroom with a shower is far away from the bedrooms, which are upstairs. Also, this house has a lot of steps, in case those are difficult for you. I did appreciate the off street parking, parking passes, and beach passes. Overall, great location and decent house, but needs a little TLC.
