Thanks for the review. We have one of the only approved free standing AC units at the complex - primarily because we back up to the entryway water fountain and that fountain makes enough noise to block the noise of an AC running (which is not allowed in our complex). We do get pretty good coastal breezes at night - and being on the end of the building we have 3 extra windows for cross ventilation. Most of the time our guests are pretty comfortable overall. An added benefit this year - we installed ceiling fans in both of our bedrooms - to just give a little more air flow ... Glad you had a really good time and found that not to be a factor that would prevent a repeat visit. Please do come again!

I’m sorry to see a one star.. it is the first one I have ever received. We are priced low specifically due to the location in the complex. We are located on the East boundary along with about 150 other units - in the 550 unit complex. The train runs along Pacific Street and I clearly mention it, and the vibration in all my descriptions. We do have sleeping for 6 off the floor. Perhaps our guest didn't read the welcome package information which describes our two sofa sleepers which are both twin sized chair beds. This is our layout: Master bedroom has a Cal King $2800 luxury firm pillow top bed with a separate twin sized Lyksele Chair bed from IKEA. This fits families with small children who are afraid to be away from their parents. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen luxury firm pillow top $2000 bed - and no other bed in the room. The living room has a Macy's 54" chair bed - (sofa sleeper) - and two twin futon mats - from Costco. The condo sleeps 6 people OFF the floor and offers 2 futon mats for flexible sleeping options - but we do not accept more than 6 guests per HOA rules. Our Condo is clean but NOT remodeled (which is also described). We have comfortable newer furniture - newer carpet and good clean paint, but if you are looking for granite counters … keep looking as ours are tiled. The futon mat is a flex item and is in addition to the beds already described. Lastly we are priced very economically.. like a one bedroom unit in order to appeal to families on a budget. We hope this will help others who are looking for beach accommodations not to be deterred. We are well priced and less expensive than a hotel with fully equipped kitchen. I don’t know what the problem was with our kitchen equipment.. but will have my housekeeper review and update as needed. We have a double set of flatware - a full set of pots and pans - in stainless steel and Teflon. We have a double set of dishes - and all the support items including pyrex for baking .. Had our guest called - we could have remedied any shortage promptly.

It's always a shame when someone has their vacation plans messed up. Clearly this family was thrown to the wolves by the 'prior' owner who reserved their unit...sold it... and didn't bother to let their guests know. Their expectations were for a beach view ocean front condo ...and ours is not. We are a budget priced 2 bedroom on the East boundary with close proximity to Pacific St. This is clearly stated in our ad...our prices are comparable to one bedroom condos...and lower than most motels too. Just review our rates and you will see we are reasonably priced. We provide 8 bath, hand, face towels and 6 thin beach towels and we state that well in advance of arrival that the beach towels are thin since we don't have a washer and dryer in our unit...it allows for quicker air drying overnight. I'm thankful they acknowledged we are clean! It seems as though we were blamed for their poor VRBO experience when all we did was fill their gap when the other owners bailed out. If you are seeking a resplendent condo with beautiful ocean views...that's not us. We are a family friendly, clean and well equipped budget priced 2 bedroom unit 3 minutes walk to the beach in our oceanfront complex. Our condo is nicely decorated ...efficient, well stocked with great beds and comfortable furniture. We have high speed internet via uverse, and new flat screen tvs in every room. We won't leave you hanging or sell out from underneath our guests. We promise to be responsive to your needs. Cindy

So glad you enjoyed it! Our location isn't premier ... so we have our condo priced lower per night than almost any other 2bdrm in the complex. Most families appreciate our budget price and all the little things we've tried to incorporate .. like dedicated uverse High speed internet, tvs with pigtails for those traveling xboxes,functional sleeping options and our AC in master ... one of the ONLY permitted units in the entire complex. Our shady deck is also nice after a hot day in the sun...I personally love our location ... and believe no one on 3 sides to be a big bonus in a densely occupied condo project of 550 homes. So we will definitely welcome this family back! Oh, and my housekeeper says they left no damage or excess cleaning required!

Thanks so much! its all about meeting your expectation. We priced our unit to be attractive to families, but keep the quality of the offering inside as high as possible. We do have one of the only approved by HOA AC installations in the complex. It means you can close your windows and get a cool nights rest. Rest is what vacations are about. We are inexpensive compared to most 2 bedroom units on the beach, but our quality isn't compromised. Thanks for staying with us and posting your review.

Oh what a wonderful review! When I read it to my husband he said " I want to go on vacation with them!" - you did all the fun things that we never seem to find time to squeeze in. Granted - when we come down - we have 2-3 days mandatory at LEGOLAND with our boys - and we always find things that need replacing or upgrading or just plain restocking. But - truly - just to get to do exactly what you did while staying in our condo would be a real treat for us too. We did just spend 3 nights in the same unit July 6-9, 2016. It was a very comfortable stay - and I was pleased to see that it needed very little. We did remove a broken vertical blind - bought new drapes for the Dining and Kitchen windows - and restocked our supplies, but there wasn't too much work- so we all enjoyed our stay. The weather was great! Thank you for your great review!

I get so giggly when our guests see what we are trying to convey in our description. This place is amazing.... And guys...you have only seen it once! Come again for winter after they put up the Christmas decorations...it is simply stunning!!! Every month there is a reason to come and enjoy the beach. But off season you get the added bonus of low rates. It's such an easy drive from the desert...plan your next trip now.

We are very happy our month long guests had such a great experience in our condo. They really had a full chance to experience beach life in our condo, complex and community. We are fanatics about comfortable sleeping...I'm a flight attendant and have spent a large amount of my life in motels...good beds are a must have item. Then I require a home like atmosphere ...so we provide more than the usual conveniences. We hope all our guests feel this way...even when they don't take the time to write.
