Una cerca de riel dividido le da la bienvenida a 'Treetops', una casa de vacaciones de dos niveles, diseñada por un arquitecto, en el lado de Black Rock Mountain en el condado de Rabun, Georgia. Cerca hay infinitas oportunidades para practicar senderismo, excursiones de un día en automóvil a lugares fascinantes, pesca, antigüedades, rafting, compras y simplemente relajarse en la amplia terraza ubicada en las copas de los árboles.

La acogedora sala de estar de la planta baja cuenta con una estufa de leña, TV por cable con DVD y VCR y un piso de baldosas. Se admiten mascotas. Hay estacionamiento cubierto para un automóvil y estacionamiento fuera de la calzada para dos. Una cocina completa permite la preparación de cualquier cosa, desde un almuerzo rápido hasta un abundante desayuno campestre o una cena de Acción de Gracias. Treetops es propiedad de una familia durante más de treinta años y ahora se ha abierto a inquilinos que buscan lo mejor que las tranquilas montañas del norte de Georgia tienen para ofrecer. Cozy Cabin in the Woods

We absolutely loved this comfy, eclectic, little cabin! It is well stocked with everything you would need, very clean, comfy beds, great woodsy setting with a front porch swing, extremely close to Black Rock Mountain State Park, and Jon, the owner, is super responsive and helpful. We hope to go back again some day!

Kick back and relax!

We found this property to be very homey and comfortable. As if we were welcome family in it. It is a mountain house which is exactly our comfort zone! Quiet nights and a very pretty neighborhood. Nice walking trails near by.

Perfect Location

Enjoyed our stay. We had several local places we wanted to visit and this was a great spot. Also enjoyed Black Rock Lake and State Park. Perfect for my husband and I plus daughters family. Had everything we needed to cook from steaks to full breakfast.

Heaven in the Treetops

Very relaxing with beautiful woodland views and close proximity to numerous hiking trails in Black Rock Mountain State Park. We saw several deer and a bear too! We brought our Airedale, and he loved it(as well as us)! Thank you for a fabulous family vacation!

Nice Get Away

Everything is there that you should need! We cooked a turkey dinner after hiking the trails at Black Rock Mountain. Very relaxing. Nice that there are books to read and maps of the area. Will be back again!

Location! Location! Location!

Wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe 5-10 minutes from Black Rock Mountain State Park, which was one of our main attractions. Close to good restaurants and tourist shopping. One of our favorite North Georgia Mountain trips by far. I got to hike James Edmonds Trail and then come home and get snuggly and comfortable! Well stocked, Ingles close by. Would stay here again.

Excellent out of the way retreat

Excellent experience! Owner was very quick with responding to questions. Cabin was very nice. Loved the location-out of the way, secluded. The guitar was an unexpected surprise! I was able to play in the evening. We will definitely be back!

Cozy Cabins in the Mountains

We enjoyed our stay beyond words. The cabin is cozy and well stocked with almost anything you could need. The porch swing is an amazing place to take in the beauty of the property and the soft breezes that blow almost all day long. We used the fireplace each morning and enjoyed our first cup of coffee cuddled up next to it. Our fur babies loved the yard and dirt roads that provided a great area to take long walks and explore. Although the property has a remote feel, shopping is easily accessible within 10 minutes. Black Rock Mountain State park is within 2 minutes of the property. Peaceful place to kick back, relax, and enjoy nature. We will definitely be back again!

Mountain getaway

The property is right next to Black Rock Mountain Park, about 6 minutes up the mountain, not a bad drive. Lots of activities close by in the little towns around the area. Jon the owner was very nice. House is nice for a small family. Lots of windows look out on a gorgeous mountain view.

Great location, well equipped, could use some updating.

Nice little cabin in a location very conveniently located to Black Rock State Park. Nice layout and well equipped with everything you need. Could use some updating though as it was very musty smelling. The bunk beds were nice, but the two beds in the bedrooms were not queens and were very old and in need of updating. Every time you moved the bed creaked and sounded like it was going to break. Front porch was very dirty and not really useable unless a lot of cleaning was done first. With new beds and getting rid of the mustiness it would be a very nice place though.

Beautiful Wooded View, Happy Porch Swing, Awesome Host

My favorite spot - The Porch Swing! Great view and made it feel like home, I have two on my porch. Jon is one of the most generous, attentive and gracious host we have dealt with. His attention and quick responses to your questions goes above and beyond. His property is wooded and feels secluded even though there are houses around it. The trails and proximity to Black Rock Mountain State Park make this a great place for hiking. The house was VERY clean (smelled fresh and clean), well-furnished and stocked. My first impression on opening the door was "Oh wow". The split-level layout makes it even more roomy feeling. The beds were comfortable and the wood burning stove is awesome. There were no negatives to this property in our opinion. A most welcome stay and much needed break. As for the driveway, it is concrete and wide, and does have a sharp turn at the top to park under the house, but I (a woman) navigated it easily the first time in my husband's Chevy 2500 (large, tall, and not a great turning radius), so anybody should be able to negotiate it. Everything was as pictured with the exception of an updated flat-top stove and the chairs at the kitchen island (they are now stools). The picture on VRBO of the outside of the house does not capture the real essence/look of the house (the railing has been updated and the house is lovelier than the picture). Thank you, Jon, for sharing your lovely place with us! We hope to return!

Amazing cabin

We had a wonderful time in this old family cabin. Great facility and location in the woods. Very quiet and peaceful. Very well equipped just need to bring your food and clothes! Ingles in town not too far away. Owner was very responsive to communications. Loved the place thank you!

Winter Retreat

We had a 5 great days at this cabin in the woods. Jon was easy to reach with a few issues due to the weather but everything worked out well. If you are there in the winter a 4 wheel drive vehicle might be necessary. Supplies for fire building are helpful. Otherwise everything you need for a vacation in the mountains is there.

Quiet place in January

Cabin was nice and cozy, no trouble staying warm. Wish we could have sat on the pretty deck, but liked sitting by the wood burning stove. Owner has nice selection of streaming services. Internet was super fast.

Perfect private getaway in the beautiful mountains.

This was the perfect cabin for a snow weekend getaway. Very clean and everything we needed was there. The owner was very easy to contact and was kind enough to let us check out late due to the roads being snowy/icy. If you rent this cabin in the winter while winter weather is expected I would highly recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We will definitely rent again for a peaceful private getaway.

Treetops

Very relaxing peaceful setting away from it all but 15 minutes to stores. It was a great place to unwind. I teach online college math classes and the internet was excellent.
