This recently built-modern 1 bed room-1 bath provides a private and cozy retreat just a block from the ocean, and a short walk to the intracoastal waterway. The Villa is equipped with a full kitchen, comfortable living and TV area, an oversize bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a private back patio area including a fire-pit, grille, and outdoor shower. Walk 1 block through the beach access at the end of the street to spend the day, followed by a bike ride to the favorite local restaurants for sunset dining on the water. With just a quick drive into downtown St. Augustine to see its rich history or to catch a show at the Amphitheater on Anastasia Island; this is a perfect option offering a relaxing atmosphere for couples or solo travelers seeking an unforgettable beach getaway in The Nation's Oldest City.

Very musty

This property had a smell that took us serval washings to get out of our clothing. It permeated everything we took into the property. They have an obvious problem with moisture even the refrigerator was rusty from moisture. It just felt dirty as a consequence. This property is a great location which is why we booked it but we so regretted staying there. Bathroom/shower very nice and best part of the property however the towels were so thin and poor quality it took several just to get damp dry. Too bad as it is a cute property in a good neighborhood and location if they could remedy these issues it would be worth the price. Regretted spending so much to stay here

Cute Cottage or Flop House

Not as advertised.The floor was filthy and the cottage stunk like a long time smoker had lived there for years.No stove or oven in the cottage,just 2 old hotplates.Bedroom had no space to move or even have room for a side table next to the bed without blocking the door.Bathroom was beautiful and very spacious but the rest of the place was too crowded. The property owner or manager was responsive to calls for issues but this property was not comfortable at all.Vilano Beach is beautiful and the location is great but unit needs work.

This cottage was perfect for my hubby and I. It’s a short walk to the beach and has all the amenities needed to make your vacation comfortable.

Clean with nice finishes. There is only a microwave and a hot plate for cooking. I was expecting a full kitchen. Overall nice interior. Nicer beach chairs would be a plus. We ended up purchasing some.

Cute and cozy

I loved the place. Small but cute and cozy for my husband and I plus our Labrador. Perfect location, steps from beach and a beautiful neighborhood. Would stay there again and highly recommend it. Only negatives are it was a little musty, nothing air-freshener/can of Lysol wouldn’t take care of. I didn’t notice it after the first day. Water pressure in shower is super low and would have loved an iron to use.

Great cottage near beach

Beautiful cottage close to the beach. Was perfect for my husband and I. Pictures are very accurate. Cute neighborhood. Perfect for 2 people. The listing included a hot tub but one wasn’t available
