Guest Access:

As your hosts, we reside in the neighboring house, ensuring prompt assistance throughout your stay. Guests have complete access to the entire apartment and private courtyard area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of our charming neighborhood.

The Goldfinch at The Nest at Deodate is part of a small, three-unit apartment building set in a quiet, country setting. Each apartment has its own private entrance, offering a sense of privacy during your stay.



The surrounding area is peaceful and relaxed, yet major routes are just minutes away, making it easy to reach nearby attractions. Within a short drive, you’ll find Hersheypark, events at Hershey Stadium and The Giant Center, performances at The Hershey Theatre, shopping at The Hershey Outlets, the Spa at the Hotel Hershey, and Elizabethtown College.



A digital guidebook with local dining, shopping, and attraction recommendations will be provided after booking to help you plan your stay.



Getting Around:

The apartment boasts a convenient location, with easy access to local major highways just a brief 5-minute drive away.



Traveling by air? The Harrisburg International Airport is a mere 15-minute drive, while the Elizabethtown Amtrak station is just 10 minutes away by car.



For added convenience, Uber services are readily available in the area, ensuring seamless transportation options.



Plus, the charming town of Hershey is a quick 10-15 minute drive, while the vibrant cities of Harrisburg and Lancaster are within easy reach, approximately 20-25 minutes away.



Other Things to Note:

⚠️ Please Note: The stairs in the apartment are original to the building and are steep with narrow treads. While we’ve recently added new plush carpet for comfort and safety, guests should be aware that the staircase may feel more challenging to navigate, especially for those with mobility concerns or when carrying luggage.



🐾 Pet Policy




We welcome up to 2 well-behaved pets at our home. Please note:

* $100 fee per pet – this must be paid prior to check-in. Be sure to add pets to your reservation for host approval.

* Guests may be asked to show proof of current vaccinations.

* No pets on furniture, bedding, or blankets.

* Guests must clean up after pets immediately and dispose of waste properly.

* Pets must be leashed at all times when outdoors.

* Excessive noise, damage, or nuisance behavior caused by pets may result in additional charges or removal from the property.



By booking with a pet, you agree to these rules so we can continue offering a clean and comfortable pet-friendly stay for all guests.



⏰ Check-In, Checkout & Reservation Extension Policy



Early Check-In: Early check-ins cannot be scheduled or guaranteed in advance. Upon request, we’re happy to notify you on the day of arrival if the home is ready prior to the scheduled 4:00 PM check-in time.



Late Checkout: Our 11:00 AM checkout time is firm, and we are unable to accommodate late checkout requests.



Reservation Extensions: Extension requests made prior to check-in will be automatically approved, subject to availability. Once your stay has begun, requests to extend your reservation are subject to approval and cannot be guaranteed.
