Farmstay with pool and firepit

Secluded country charm in Lancaster County. The Cabin is one of two spaces on the farm for guests to rent. Private entry, queen bed, kitchenette, jacuzzi tub, standup shower, full size fridge, range/oven, and a Keurig. In-ground pool, grill, and fire pit for your use. Minutes from Susquehanna River Trail, Elizabethtown College, and historic Marietta. About 25 minutes to Spooky Nook Sports and Harrisburg Airport, and a half hour to Hershey, Harrisburg, York, downtown Lancaster, Sight and Sound, and Amish Country.

*Note* The cabin directly overlooks the pasture and is adjacent to the barn. It is possible you will hear animal sounds, including sheep, goats, cows, and geese.

Owners work the farm, care for animals on site, and are available if needed but respect guests' privacy.

We had a wonderful time. Great location and our host was pleasant and thoughtful. She gifted us with chocolate candy and some of her farm fresh eggs which we enjoyed. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay while you visit the area.

It was absolutely relaxing and a gorgeous farm. It was my first time using vrbo or any app of its kind and Emily thought of everything. It was thoughtfully stocked and all of the little touches- fresh eggs in the fridge to homemade chocolate made it even better.

Quiet and Tranquil Stay

The hosts were wonderful and willing to work with me when I needed a last-minute stay. I even got to feed a baby goat, which was only one of the highlights of this place. It was quiet my whole weekend and close to everything I needed. I will definitely be back and tell everyone I know that Emily is the best host and this is THE place to stay in the area!

We came there for a mini getaway. I'll start by saying, ABSOLUTELY SERENE! We were immediately greeted by Zeke and Mickey (the farm cats). The cabin was cozy, quiet and perfect! The goats were such a highlight! Little B was my wife's favorite! We highly recommend this hidden gem! We're already trying to figure out when we can go back but with the kids this time. Thank you so much again to Emily, Craig and family!

Lovely stay

A beautiful backdrop to an operating farm. Lovely quaint cabin. Facilities were helpful for a nice soak after a busy day of visiting state parks. Clean and friendly.

My wife and I really had a great time staying in Mrs. Emily’s cabin. Mrs. Emily and her family were very hospitable and friendly. We loved our stay. Cabin was very clean and cozy. Location was quite and amazing. If we have a return trip we will definitely try to stay here again.

Perfect getaway location!

The perfect setting for a quiet getaway. Easy access to all local areas of interest. So quiet , private and peaceful. Emily and her husband went far beyond my expectations to create a perfect hide away. The cabin was cozy, exceptionally clean, safe and secure. Highly recommend if you’re ever in the area.

Wonderful Experience

Me and my spouse really enjoyed the quiet and lovely location of the cabin. Emily was the greatest host and was very accommodating. We will be visiting the cabin again at least once a year !!!

Peaceful

The cabin was just as described and nicer than anticipated. Loved the friendly cats and all the farm animals. The weather was not perfect but it was a nice peaceful getaway and enjoyed having coffee on the front porch. The keurig was a pleasant surprise.

Perfect little cabin to unwind

Perfect little spot to wind down and relax. Surrounded bye a beautiful farm, you can here the sounds of farm life. The cabin is stocked with all the essentials, and hosts are very friendly and helpfull. If you want to take in Hershey park, Gettysburg, or Harrisburg, this is the perfect place to stay and get away from all the city life. Well be back for sure

Country Getaway

Emily and Craig are so kind and welcoming, we had such a comfortable and fun stay here! We had fun giving the animals little treats and enjoyed the scenery of the property. Fresh eggs and milk was also left in the fridge which was a thoughtful touch. Wish we could have stayed longer!

peaceful and relaxing

everything about the property was as described! very nice stay. We liked the two cats and the goats turkeys geese and chickens. we fed them a bit of animal crackers and went on walks around the property. the hosts were very friendly. There was a lot to do in Lancaster and the near by towns. there were a lot of antique stores and good food.

Quiet cabin on a farm

This is a super cute cabin on the same proper as the owner’s home and farm. They have adorable bunnies, goats and sheep that love attention and animal crackers. We chose this cabin as the last 4 days of our vacation, with the first 5 days in NYC. It’s an easy drive from NYC to this cute cabin and talk about a different experience between the two! My husband and I both caught a virus in NYC and were pretty ill the entire stay, but the cabin, while secluded and in the country, is only a few minutes to every major convenience we needed, including an urgent care. With a couple of very short excursions to get food and meds we stayed in the cabin the entire 4 days. It was totally comfortable for the two of us and we were happy to be there while we relaxed and recovered. Emily and Craig are friendly and helpful, but not at all intrusive. Thanks for such a comfortable environment!

Great Getaway

It was a wonderful place for us to stay when we were in the area. Close to Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Lancaster and Hershey. It was a nice place to return to after a full day of sightseeing. You could sit on the porch and watch the fire flies and listen to the birds and animals. If you don't like a farm setting this isn't for you but we LOVED it!!
