Wonderful location and walking distance to the beach. House has lots of space and old-time charm with lots of wood. Bedrooms are roomy and very comfortable. Kitchen was updated and had everything we needed. Dining room was very large and perfect for dinners and game nights. Recommend!

The house was perfectly clean upon check-in. The place being pet friendly and including a fenced in back yard was perfect! The house is very centrally located in Willoughby Spit and you can easily walk to several restaurants. There was ample onsite parking with the deep drive way. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything that we needed. We have family that have moved to the area recently and we will 100% be staying at Paula's property again in the future.

Great place

Immediately felt right at home. The house is very cool and location was great. So much space and many extras/amenities. Had everything we needed and more. The best surprise for us was the pack and play.

Best Location Ever

I went for the wedding of my daughter and needed a large home for all of her family. This place was the cleanest, well stocked, large home that was very safe and comfortable!! We enjoyed the home and area!

Great Choice for Family

We stayed here during the week of Jul 14 - Jul 19, and had a great time. The property owner was so sweet to prepared surf boards, beach toys, and lots of chess toys for our little kids. It is walkable to beaches and in our opinion, the beach on the 8th street Ocean View Beach is much better than the Virginia Beach.

Timeless

We made our way to VA to see our USN son who has been awa for 3 years. Paula was wonderful to work with and her home is warm and welcoming. Check-in was easy, the kitchen well stocked, beds comfotable and plenty of room for everyone. We could not have picked a better home to stay in, and we look forward to our return.

So nice!

It was so refreshing that the photos are exactly as how the house looks. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us! To come back home and sprawl out after being out in the heat. It gave us all breathing room which was such a blessing. I would totally stay here if we were in the area again for a week. We met up with my parents and my brother and his family so (14) of us in total. Hubby plays the piano and enjoyed playing on it on some of his downtime. Plenty of rooms for cousins to play games and hang out. Loved their game room, well-equipped with quite the variety of non-electronic games.

This was a very unexpected surprise. Lots of natural wood but great lighting Anything you need is available in this house. Comfy beds with great sheets and fluffy towels. TV s in every bedroom. Lots of room for a crowd. Would definitely recommend!

Very unique property, a “farm house” at the beach, modern appliances and very well stocked with cooking utensils, plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathrooms, Conveniently located. The host is very responsive and eager to assist with any issues that may arise. We had a small issue with the entry code to the property, one text to the host and a returned phone call right away, the issue was resolved without any delay. We highly recommend this property and host.

Cozy, spacious, and updated in all the right places

Paula’s house is ideal for any size family and located just two short blocks from a beautiful long stretch of sandy beach on the Chesapeake Bay. The beach here isn’t crowded in the least, and it’s very calm, so ideal for little kids or lap swimming. The kitchen was very well appointed, and it’s been updated beautifully, along with the bathrooms. Beds were comfy and the immediate surrounding is quiet, with just a bit of white noise from the highway. There is room for everyone to spread out, including some charming office space off the dining room. Very grateful that they allowed our dog, who enjoyed the yard (and of course the beach). Would totally come again.

I would definitely stay again

We were very pleased with the property. Everything we needed was available. The house felt like a home. It was very clean and well keep. It was such a peaceful place. It felt like we were the only ones on the block. The house also had a peace about it. We all slept very well. Kudos to you Paula! Keep up the amazing job. Ps: I apologize that we didn’t get to write in the book. I completely forgot. We had every intention to share how amazing our experience was at your home.
