Close to beach!

Great stay - was much closer to beach than we expected. Great condo that had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer. Fast internet was a plus.

All-Around Great

Great location, only a few steps from the beach. Perfect size for a family with two kids. The kitchen was updated and well stocked. The bathrooms are updated and having the extra half bathroom is great if someone is showering in the full bathroom. It's only one floor up for easy loading/unloading, but still has an ocean view. Our child loved the bunkbed and we were comfy in the king bed. We'll be back!

Great stay

This was the best Condos stay We could not have ask for any better stay.. Everything was so clean and very neat .The beach was out side walking distance shopping. The park fishing shopping restaurants even the candy shop .. The host was so kind and provided everything we needed.. We will be coming back soon !!!

Nice location

This was a great experience and the unit was nice enough for what I needed. It’s a great location close to the beach. While it was an off season visit, I still enjoyed the sunrise a shot walk from the unit. The unit had everything needed. It was clean and well supplied. Thank you for accommodating my needs.

Great place to stay with easy access to the beach as well as close to food and shopping. Space was great for the two of us or ideal for a small family. I was surprised to find there was not a washer or dryer but we only stayed a few days so it worked out. The pool is also just steps away. Great space

Perfect Winter Week

The location of the property was perfect for a daily beach walk, and still had a cozy vibe inside during the winter months. The condo is very clean and well maintained. I was not able to get the televisions to work properly, but the property manager was attentive to this. The bed is extremely comfortable. This especially was perfect for my use as I was visiting family in nearby Hampstead. I was only 15 min. from their home and enjoyed my own surroundings. Will definitely visit again!

Great condo with a beautiful views of the courtyard, pool, and beach! Property was perfect as it was only a mile form a few nice shops and restaurants and had a nice island vibe. The pool is really nice. Looked relatively new and there’s something to be said about sitting poolside while enjoying the sounds of the ocean. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept on but for the 3 nights we were there it was good enough. The property manager, Tristian was also very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to revisiting in the fall!

As advertised

Great location, well stocked condo with comfortable furnishings. Deck is south facing and provided ocean view and high deck chairs, much appreciated. Surf Condominiums is a well run complex. Vacation rental agency easy to deal with. Two negatives would be the walls are thin and you can hear guests above you. The Wifi signal is a guest account for Surf Condominiums and it frequently dropped and you’d have to sign in, very frustrating. As noted in previous reviews the bath drains slowly, old pipes and build up of sand were noted as the cause. Given the quoted price for the time of year it was good value, perhaps less so in high season.

Very clean and well stocked.

Very easy to check in and the property was well stocked with essentials. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels. The shower and main bathroom sink were slow to drain which caused standing water. I would recommend they be unclogged. Other than that one issue everything was wonderful.

Good location

The condo was decorated nice and it was a clean. I was surprised how much it did not have- no dish towels, no sponge or dish cloth to wash dishes or wipe down counters, etc.-just one roll of half uses paper towels. Not even salt and pepper- so if you want to use the kitchen be prepared to start from scratch. Ther biggest complaint- getting locked out of the condo 1/2 hour early with our stuff still inside. Had to wait for cleaning person to let us in. This is not acceptable!!!

A Lovely Beachy Condo

A great little 1 bd/1.5 bth condo that has a great layout for guests to join for a night. The deck was perfect to listen to the surf during our morning coffee time.

Not worth the money

We have been coming to Top Sail/ Surf City for a few years now and have stayed in several rentals. The location of this rental was the only thing good about it. The house was not properly cleaned, the floors were not swept and the sinks and counters were dirty. Glass tables in the living room had water rings from glasses. The home is not properly taken care of, the sinks and tub do not drain properly. Called the property manager on Saturday for issues with air conditioning and a week later still haven't heard from him. The neighbors upstairs were so loud and stomping around at all hours of the day and night. The toilet paper holders came off the wall everytime you tried to get toilet paper. We had a towel on the towel hook and when we took it off the hook came with it. Water stains on the ceilings. And so many more issues. I paid as much money for this place as I have for larger private homes and will never do it again.

Surf City, The Surf condo #714

It was exactly as the pictures showed you. It was very clean, close to the beach, close to downtown. Our quest services guy, Hunt, was helpful with things to do and places to eat. My family and I enjoyed our time there and would love to stay there again.

Home Away From Home!

This property was as shown and described online. With young children it was a quick, easy walk to the beach. The kitchen is full equipped to do all dinners in. Comfortable bed and the bunk beds were a hit too! Highly recommend and will be coming back soon!

Morning Coffee with an Ocean View

We will definitely return to Surf City. After a comfortable night's sleep in the king size bed, my husband and I would brew our coffee, sit on the deck and take in the morning sights and sounds of the ocean. Next, it was on to all the that the area offers: boating and jet skiing on the intercoastal waterway (with the dolphins!), cycling, golf, enjoying craft beers and a variety of cuisines. At the end of it, we returned to the beach area and community pool to unwind.
