Perfect for a large family. There are six full bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. This location is steps away from the public beach in Vineyard Haven. Other features include an open kitchen with access to a large deck with seating and a grill, an enclosed outdoor shower, and wi-fi internet. This home is the perfect blend of comfort and convenience, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking for a Martha's Vineyard retreat in a great place.

Amenities include the following: dishwasher, washer and dryer, smart tv's in each room, jetted bathtub, enclosed outdoor shower, grill, patio furniture and equipped with a generator. There are also up to 4 parking spaces available (No On-Street Parking Allowed).

This was a rare find where the pictures do not look as good as the home. This was a very nice place. Close to the Vinyard Haven Terminal and downtown. I would stay again.

This property allowed for my family and I to have a really great time on the island. Great location for us to get around. It is as advertised and Erica was available to help with any questions that arose. I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting MV.

We felt right at home immediately--Erica maintains her place at a high level, high quality clip. The location worked out great for our needs. I would highly recommend this for your next MV stay.

Martha’s Motley Crew

Our friend group of 10 stayed in the house and it was amazing! We had plenty of space, the insulation is great so we couldn’t hear each other between floors if someone wanted to got to bed early, and the host communicated quickly and was super helpful! Would definitely return

77th Birthday celebration!

The property was just as expected. We were close to town, allowing us flexibility to walk to shops and restaurants. The home is very accommodating. The host is very understanding and has great communication! The only thing to note is that the bedroom with the Queen and Twin is in the attic part of the home. There is AC up there so you have nothing to worry about.

Great House on the Island with a Few Issues

The house was great for our family (very spacious). Upon arrival, we found some issues with a few beds having sand on the comforters to one of the guest bedroom’s ac units surround broken and was letting in bugs that my daughter while my daughter slept. She woke up to bugs crawling on the walls. In addition, on day 3 an army of 'jurassic park’ ants took over the entire kitchen infesting the kitchen counters. We had to throw away food items on the counter and we were left with ants crawling through the kitchen and the rest of the house until we departed. The house manager was very attentive with our issues and remedied the situations as best they could, but when you are spending money like this for a week’s stay you don’t expect to have these types of issues. Ants crawling throughout the kitchen put me at a place of disgust and it was hard for me to eat or cook in the kitchen. We ate out the remainder of our stay. In addition, we had to clean up dead ants off the countertops twice a day. Not how I pictured spending my week long vacation on the island with my family. Hopefully, no-one will experience the same issues moving forward.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our daughter’s family (2 and 4 year olds). They brought a car, which was absolutely necessary with the young kids. The house is very spacious- lots of bedrooms and a generous dining room. The deck was an additional comfortable space to hang out. The house was well-appointed with necessities, and the washer/ dryer was very nice to have. The host was communicative and responded to my messages quickly. But we did have a garbage problem in the driveway when we got there (full cans that animals got into and scattered on the ground). She said someone would come and clean it up but they didn’t show up until we were packing up to leave. Kind of gross. The house was clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. A few things to be aware of:- It is about a mile walk (on a busy road with a sidewalk) from the ferry- easily done in good weather if you don’t have lots of luggage or little kids, but not otherwise. - The air conditioning is not central. There are units in the bedrooms (one of which didn’t work), but the living areas only have fans. - The outdoor shower works, but there was a wasp nest in it when we were there, so we weren’t able to use it (we were only there for a long weekend so I didn’t bother asking for it to be removed).- Things were generally a little worn out and dated, but other than the broken air conditioner, a broken stool in the kitchen and a broken fan, everything was functional. We enjoyed our visit.

The host was very gracious and communicated well with any issues we had. The only issue was the temperature in the house because of the elevated heat index that everyone is experiencing across the states. The attic was the warmest area in the house. The house cooled off considerably at night though. Overall, it’s a very nice home with plenty of room in a very relaxed part of town.

Our family home for over 40+ years. Our mother enjoyed every moment spent here in this house and on Martha's Vineyard. This was her happy place. She raised her five children here and started her own business. There are a lot of stories to be told as our mom literally had a hand in building this house. Her favorite project was her beautiful staircase that leads to the second floor. She created a home that she could surround herself with family and friends. We hope you enjoy your stay in our wonderful family home.
