Just steps away from the beautiful sands of PCB! Breathtaking views from this 14th floor condo at the Summit!

This condominium is located on the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico in Panama City Beach, Florida. It is at The Summit on Thomas Drive. You will find yourself within walking distance of restaurants, amusement parks, golf courses, and more. Grills are provided on site if you enjoy cooking out. There is also a TIKI bar in the pool area which is close to the beach so you can get a cool drink any time without leaving the property. A bar and grill called Bikini Bobs is onsite for food

The Summit has two large pools for guests as well as both indoor and outdoor hot tubs! An exercise room is located on the ground floor near the lobby for guests as well!

The master bedroom in this beautiful unit has a king size size bed and a large flat screen tv. It has access to the bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

The hallway has 2 twin size bunk beds. There is also a bathroom access from the hallway.

The oceanfront living room has a QUEEN size sleeper sofa, a large flat screen tv and access to the oceanfront balcony.

The kitchen comes fully stocked with everything needed to cook a great meal!

Full size washer and dryer in unit.

Private balcony is the perfect height for breathtaking views of the Gulf!

Dont stay any higher then the 5th floor The elavator were very slow. We were on the 14th floor. Great view of the ocean tho.The room furniture was old and broken. We will not be staying at the Summit anymore. Beach was too crowded

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall good few issues with property.1. The TV remote did not work in the living room. Batteries dead. Called maintenance, could not help. Called tech number, surprisingly he showed up on Sunday. Fix remote, got TV running. Turn out instruction left in condo were out of date. Tech showed us how to operate TV, checked Bedroom ok there. 2. Small coffee pot will not work properly. Had to raise spring to get water to flow into pot. Failing grade. Condo was clean

Super clan and updated condo

The condo was super clean and newly updated. Amazing view. The property was clean. Security was present . The restaurant on site, Bikini Bob's, has really good food. Overall it was a great place to stay. Hope to be back soon.

perfect location on the beach with access to dining, shopping, short drive to St. Andrews. Clean well maintained. Pools great!! Bikini Bob's nice. Security staff did a nice job of keeping it family friendly. Hope to be back!!

Great stay

Place is perfect for 2 people and had plenty of room 2 adults but with kids not so sure. Great view of the Gulf from the 14th floor. You can see all the marine life swimming up and down the coast. Close to good eats and entertainment. Only negative we have is that the hot water runs out to fast during showers. Didn’t watch much TV so really don’t know about that stuff.

This property was clean & newly renovated. Great view of the Gulf. You can’t hear your neighbors. We had a slight issue with not enough sheets & the dishwasher wouldn’t drain but it was quickly rectified. Great communication from the property management company. I would definitely stay again!

Such a Great Vacation

Our family loved the condo! You got the best of both worlds, the beach and pool. It was very centrally located and easy to get to. We loved that there were so many amenities on site and that they did movie night, karaoke, and music by the pool. We had so much fun!!! The condo was well kept and updated. There was some minimal damage on chairs outside on the patio, but we just didn't use them. Our whole family agree this was the best vacation we've had and we look forward to coming back!

The view

The view from this condo was wonderful! Everything you ever wanted from an ocean view ! The bad part! This was supposed to be a fully quipped condo-far from it! This condo looked like someone had come in and cleaned it out! Plus it was not cleaned before we arrived so dusty and dirty bathrooms! But the good news is the management staff took care of or replaced items that broke like the dishwasher!!!There is still no storage bowls or mixing bowls ( I bought my own and brought them home with me)or a sheet pan that you can use. Just be careful with is condo. The resort itself is very nice, great pools and beautiful beaches so really that is all that matters!

SUMMIT NEEDS UPGRADES!!

Lots of trash laying around outside. Elevators didn’t work half the time and and felt like being on saunas while riding them. Building needs major upgrades, paint, cleaning, etc. Condo deck didn’t have chairs outside that were advertised.

Underwhelming Experience

Elevators of property NOT reliable. All of them were not working at some point during the week. Being on the 14 floor, you need working / reliable elevators. Our unit was underwhelming, not worth what we paid. The unit has electrical problems, the patio door needs replacing and simple maintenance is not kept up [ie; batteries, light bulbs, etc.]. We will not stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It wasn’t ready in time there’s electrical plugs that was out of the wall on the back porch on the balcony, balcony. Balcony furniture was broken tore you couldn’t sit in on the kitchen faucet was loose and wouldn’t work sometimes and it wasn’t the cleanest place to stay not for the money that we paid. The maintenance man came by I told him about everything. He said he would make sure they get the chairs Fixed and the faucet fix never seen him for the seven days we stayed. And it doesn’t look like the picture

Nicely Renovated Property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room was attractive and clean. Pictures were accurate other than I believe sofa had been replaced with a newer one. Elevators usually worked well, and waits were acceptable. Bed was very comfortable and both my wife and I slept well. Pool deck area and pool were immaculate. Groundskeeper and security were active daily. Very small dishwasher and only two dishwasher pods came with unit. Only two small pieces of soap and two toilet paper rolls came with unit, so bring your own. The gear in base of blender seemed to be worn down to the point where it did not engage with the blender cannister, so it would not blend. Small 5 cup coffee maker and Keurig(no pods). The free Summit Beach Resort TV app was not on either of the TVs. There was a thumping coming from the HVAC closet. I ran into a HCAC repairman on the elevator and he said it might be a dirty filter. While the filter did not appear dirty it was sunken in towards the heat exchanger.

Very satisfied despite reviews

I was very hesitant to rent based on previous reviews. However, I reached out to inquire if prior issues in reviews had been resolved and they had been. The Summit is on the eastern end of Panama City, about 15-20 minutes from Pier Park. Check in being at 4:00 was not the best since it’s a very busy time for those coming in from the beach, so the elevators were extremely congested. The full week there was just one of the three sets of elevators working, which were the ones right in front of the office. It’s a 15 floor condo and this unit was on the 14th floor. Plan to be patient, and wait your turn, but be quick to move or you’ll miss the elevator door. It closes almost immediately. Also. Getting a luggage cart was not easy. The pool was perfect but also closed all week at 7:30 due to electrical issues, I suppose due to lighting. The condo had a keypad that works perfectly. The unit was decorated beautifully. It was very clean. The bed was so comfortable, probably the best I’ve slept on when traveling. Perfect view from the balcony both directions. The washer and dryer worked great, no issues. The unit was fully equipped in kitchen and bath. There was a full closet of beach equipment, umbrellas, folded chair, sand bucket and toys. The only thing that bothered me was the air conditioner is right outside the BR in hall closet and it had a constant racket. We closed the BR and BA doors and that helped. All in all we couldn’t be more pleased.

Beach beautiful, Condo issues

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely would not book this condo again or stay in this complex. Although the beach was fantastic, the pools were great, the pool area had a tiki bar and Bikini Bob’s(sandwiches and ice cream) and security was always around, the condo itself was lacking. We arrived to 1 1/2 bathrooms, not 2 as advertised. The shower was full of mildew , which we cleaned and the tub drain backed up(until we got about a cup full of hair out of it! On our 5th day we started having electrical issues in the kitchen area. The washer and dryer(located in the kitchen) could not be used concurrently without throwing the breaker. Eventually we couldn’t use the appliances without throwing breakers again. After 2 calls to the mgmt company, a maintenance man came and after checking The breaker box told us that he would have to notify the management that an electrician was needed because the box was not wired correctly. And so it went. In the general building, the elevators were another issue. There were two centrally located elevators of which one was always out of order. I Heard from several people that were stuck in the elevators and then eventually the elevator would bring them to their destination there were people that said it dropped several feet while stopped on random floors. There was always one that was out of order. Overall the vacation was saved by the beautiful weather, the crystal clear water and the relaxation while laying in the rented beach chairs, reading my book. But I won’t book this complex again.
