Private Quiet Saltwater pool-Choice of SIC or OC beaches!

Enjoy your choice of beach towns while staying in a quiet neighborhood. The Shore Thing is a quick 10 minute drive to Sea isle City and 15 minutes to Ocean City.

Chillax while lounging in the pristine saltwater pool. Sip your favorite beverage on our mahogany deck or sit by the fire pit surrounded by a sprawling paver patio.

Play corn hole, football, wiffle ball or volleyball in our sprawling professionally maintained turf yard

Level 2 EV charger conveniently located in the driveway .

Rental includes linens and beach towels. We recommend no more than 8 adults due to bunkbeds.

** Pool is opened May 15th-Sept15th weather permitting. Heater is optional and is not usually needed in the summer at all. Pool heater is run remotely and requires a payment of $30 per day to be activated. If desired and payment is received pool will be set at 85. Keep in mind the pool will take 24 hours to reach desired temperature

The owner was very nice and quick to get back to me when I sent him questions. The house is very clean, the grounds are meticulously landscaped. They provide sheets and towels which most rentals do not. They even left us a little surprise. The whole family loved it, we will definitely be going back.

Our stay at A Shore Thing was amazing. This place exceeded expectations. The house and grounds were clean and we'll maintained with plenty of space for the kids to run and play. The pool and backyard were very clean and lots of fun for the family. Everything on this property was well thought out to accommodate our needs. We are looking forward to booking here in the future.

Best experience!!

Our stay was truly amazing! Harry was excellent with communicating and even worked with us coming a little earlier than our check-in time. The house was perfection from the cleanliness to the well stock appliances and supplies. The pool and patio were beautiful and perfect for kids. We loved how private it was. We hope to make this home our annual vacation spot!

Perfect vacation house!

We stayed here for a week with our 4 tween kids. We usually stay in OCNJ but this was just a short drive off the island. The owners have thought of everything! We paid for the pool heater and it was the perfect temperature for a slightly chilly week. The kids swam until their fingers were so wrinkly that they hurt! LOL The house was meticulously clean! The kitchen was very well stocked and I appreciated that there were stainless pans and not just all Teflon(and the Teflon they did have was in very good condition!). The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out although my kids all opted to stay together in the bunk room! The master shower is a little tricky to get into if you're less than physically abled or just short like me ;-). There is another regular tub/shower on the first floor if needed. We will definitely rent again for our next OCNJ trip!

Jersey Shore Gem

This house is great for family, friends or just a quick getaway. This home has all the necessary and extra amenities. The owner/host was great to work with and communicated very often. I would definitely rent again.

Family Vacation

All the comforts of home. The house was spacious, clean and close to everything. Plenty of room for our family of nine. Hosts were easy to connect with. We will definitely keep this on our vacation list.

great property, very responsive hosts

We rec'd great information prior to arriving, including lots of helpful info about the area and things to do. The house layout is such that everyone had privacy, yet common areas were open and inviting for food prep, eating, playing board games, video gaming, table tennis, etc. The saltwater pool was amazing - we spent a lot of time in it. Outdoor seating is varied and well protected by umbrellas. We had an issue with the AC and the hosts were responsive and non-intrusive in repairing it. Short drive to the beach. It was a perfect get-away.

Great House Near SIC

The house was well maintained and very clean. We loved relaxing in the beautiful pool. I highly recommend this option for a trip to the Jersey Shore!

Great Stay!

My family and I had a great time staying here. It was a short drive to OC boardwalk and beaches. The house is clean and the kids loved the pool!
