We like staying here for the convenience. It's an easy walk to the Metro and to things we like to do in Silver Spring. It's good space for us to do what we like to do while traveling, which includes having friends over for dinner. Samad is a thoughtful and available host.

Lovely property!! Very clean, easy check in and check out, great location!! Walked to metro, grocery store and restaurants. Extra bonus for us as runners, (we were in the area to run the Marine Corps Marathon) located near an amazing park with great running trails. Oh can’t forget to mention the lovely deer that visited the back yard! Would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay! The place is exactly as shown on the website clean super comfortable for our family. Samad was an amazing host, super friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. We had a small issue with the hot water at the beginning, but he was quick to fix it and very attentive. Everything worked out perfectly after that. Would definitely stay here again!

walking distance to downtown silver spring, although we had a car we still enjoyed the convenience of walking to cafes and restaurants.

The good -property was quiet and newly remodeled-private entrance as it was a walk out basement-good sized rooms with decent furniture and appliancesThe bad -no onsite parking, the pictures in the listing show the unloading area but it’s actually the host’s driveway-street parking was by permit only, all other times were unrestricted The ugly:-were not provided guest parking permit and city could cite/tow vehicles parked M-F 9am-5pm, felt we had to leave between 9-5 during our stay. Could have tried metro but didn’t feel comfortable leaving car in a tow zone.-dishwasher was not fully installed and were not informed until after we left. AKA drain line wasn’t installed; dishwasher had power and water but no sign or notice from host -vent fan in shower dripped water after use, enough to soak the bath mat & a full size towel even with dehumidifier running-vent hood of microwave was only for show, it didn’t direct steam out. Summary:We would not stay here again as it was not a seemless experience because of worries about our car being towed, potential water/mold issues due to a damp basement. First night there it rained, the floors felt squishy and saw water between the slats. Kitchen was better to reheat items in, not cook. We traveled with our 3mon who slept in the pack&play that has seen better days. Sheets smelled musty that we had to wash them. A hotel would have been better.

Lovely basement apartment

Lovely, super clean apartment. My husband, myself and 14 year old were in town to tour DC. Bedrooms were clean and spacious. Kitchen was stocked with coffee and snacks. Host was responsive and it was so easy to check in. Would absolutely stay here again!

Good location, good value

Being able to walk to the Silver Spring Metro station was a big plus, which allowed us to leave our car each day. There are plenty of restaurant options just up the hill from the house. Although it's listed as a basement, there were plenty of windows to bring in natural light.We would choose this place again.

University of Maryland Event

My family and I came in for an event at the University of Maryland. This Verbo was an excellent choice for us. The location was perfect. The check-in process was easy with clear communication with the owner. The place was clean, well-maintained and had everything we needed. I would recommend this place and stay here in the future

Holiday in DC

Liked the property very well. Only issue was the electronic security system which never did work well. The owner was responsive and was able to remotely activate the locks and eventually provided us with a key for the door.

The ad is accurate. It’s street parking but that is not an issue It is nice that the apartment is stocked with items you would use rather than castoffs and unwanted gifts plus the ikea layout makes everything to hand

Nice property. Very clean and close to everything. Easy parking. The host was very nice and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely book again next time I’m in the DC area.

Great option for a stay near DC

The location was well-kept, very clean, and cozy. It is in the lower level of a larger home, but we had no issues at all with privacy during our stay. A quick ten minute walk to the nearest metro station made for easy travel around DC.
