Steps away from the famous Starlite Restaurant, voted one of San Diego's best restaurants, and The Aero Club, a local favorite for their extensive whiskey selection, pool tables and pinball.

With so many people working from home, we designed a designated work space for our guests, and installed a high-powered mesh-wifi network with 500+ mbps download speed - plenty to run Zoom calls, watch Netflix, play Spotify, and connect 50+ devices at the same time.

You'll love the way this home lives, with the living area to kitchen and a large sliding glass door that opens right up to views of the Hills and plenty of natural light for relaxing and entertainment. The unit is a perfect mix of old and new with the original saltillo spanish tile floors and beautiful updates that gives the perfect nod to the historic integrity of the neighborhood while maximizing the beauty of the space and finishes. The fully renovated kitchen features all stainless steel appliances, marble countertops, and a large farmhouse style sink with matte black hardware. The bathroom features a massive rainfall shower head in this modern shower with sahara tile. The space is also maximized with a couch that includes a fold out memory foam full bed / sleeper. In addition, there is a large backyard patio with plenty of chairs, umbrella, gas stainless-steel BBQ grill, firepit, and more.

No me gusto!! Era un zotano olia a drenaje ybse oia todas las pisadas de la parte de arriba , la cama el colchon y almohadas bien feas .

So disappointing that we left a day early

This was not a one bedroom as stated, this was a studio at best. The closet wouldn’t open and both mirrored doors had very large cracks in the glass. The curtains had stains on them, along with the couch. Very deceptive photos and description, as mentioned we left a day early due to it not being a nice place.

Great stay

Stu is a gracious and accommodating host. We spent the night and everything was precisely as listed. Cleanliness was top tier and check in and out instructions were clear. Would highly recommend staying here. Thanks again Stu!

Not Cleaned

I showed up and the dirty towels were still in the hamper on the floor from the last guest…. The sheets we just tossed on the bed not sure if they were cleaned …. Counter tops were dirty in the kitchen …. bathroom sink was dirty …. Eye lashes in the shower drain …. Tooth paste all on the sink …. Please do better

Loved it

Very clean and has everything you need. It is quaint, so come with people you know or are close to. Had no issues with anything at all. Would recommend.

Disappointed

My husband and I are disappointed with the accommodations we found when we opened the door of the condo: Misleading pictures - no mention of a studio The bed is right behind the sofa bed (we each like a bed when we sleep) - no bedding for the sofa bed - once the sofa bed is open there is no room to put a suitcase anywhere. Kitchen and bathroom are lovely Broken mirrors on the closets and closet doors are out of their rails To top it off we hear every single steps of the people upstairs We stayed one night and booked another hotel

Needs Help

This a converted garage not a condo. and is a studio not 1 bedroom. Closet Glass Doors where broken (glass and tracks) Floor was flithy. The room had an odd oder to it. We had a noise problem with the upstairs rental, All night we actually left early because of it. Sent the owner a couple of message and 24 hours later still have not heard anything back from them. The outside surround area is not clean.

Bad communication, bad stay

Please do not stay at this property! I had reached out to the property owner the same day that I had booked the property prior to our stay. I did not hear anything back from this property owner being that I am very busy and travel for work I did not have the time to book another property and I wish I would have. The day I reached out to the property manager and still did not get any sort of communication. I booked this properties specifically for the washer and dryer. When I arrived, there was no parking. The washer was rusted and and no dryer was seen or to be found , there was a busted mirror as soon as you entered the property. Water stains on the ceilings and what looked like rust. The host refused to answer back and give me a refund and I am still disputing this charge. Please do not stay at this property.

Generally a very nice property with a few issues.

Nice little studio apartment, clean and comfortable. Needs finishing touches putting right such as cover plates over electric sockets (code issue), damp to front celling, making good where fixings have been removed from walls, blind over bed not closing, mirror wardrobe door broken. Once these are complete it will be very pleasant.

Convenient Stay

We landed late into San Diego and needed somewhere close to the airport for the night. This worked out perfectly. Everyone was happy.

Not what we expected

This property is a cosmetically remodeled former garage, which does not make it a new condo. It is described as having 1 bedroom with a sofa bed in the living room, which implies a separate bedroom, but it is in fact a one room studio with a kitchen, a bed and a pull out couch. There were three of us staying there so we needed to use the pull out couch for sleeping, but were not provided any bedding for the stained couch mattress. Tried emailing the manager to request some sheets and a pillow but received no response for the two nights we stayed. We had to make do. The pictures show a seating area with grass, but this set up is in the front driveway. The grass is artificial and chairs are wedged in between the garbage cans and the neighbor's car. The bathroom looks nice but the towel bar fell off the wall before we arrived, the liquid soap and shampoo dispensers didn't work, and the shower curtain is mounted so high water streams on to the floor when showering.
