Buddy Home Swift River waterfront fully renovated family and dog friendly

July/August we rent Friday/Friday, all other months are 2 night minimum.
This home is located in Tamworth with the Swift River flowing through the backyard. We have a private beach with lounge chairs, 3 hammocks and a picnic table. The river is very famous for trout fishing, kayaking and tubing. It provides a relaxing vacation getaway for grownups, kids and dogs.
You can enjoy many outside activities such as skiing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and the summers are great for kayaking right from the backyard or just relaxing by the river with a glass of wine while dipping your toes.
The house is fully equipped for your convenience, whether you want to relax on the couch and watch a movie or log into your Netflix account and binge a series. Play one of the many board games or a little competition on our foosball table or dart board.
Enjoy our fully fenced in yard with an outdoor gas grill and a large table to eat outside on nice days with family or friends. In the evening relax around the outdoor firepit with plenty of seats for everyone to enjoy the fire or make some smores. The house has 4 bedrooms, 1 King bedroom with crib, 1 Queen bedroom, 1 Twin XL over Queen bedroom and 1 bedroom with 2Twins over queens.
Our house is also perfect for children, we have a full-sized crib and a pack and play with mattress, highchair and a stroller available for you and a lot of games for kids to entertain them.
You can cook up a great meal in the fully equipped kitchen or on the gas grill on our deck. The House is located 1 mile from Remick farm, 5miles to Chocorua lake and 4 miles to white lake state park with beaches. Silver lake is also close by and is considered the cleanest and deepest lake in the NH regions.
Just 20 minutes away from Conway at the entrance to Mt Washington Valley. Other 'lakes' in Madison are actually ponds.
There are plenty of nearby restaurants, stores, local attractions within minutes of the home. The village of Conway and North Conway with more shopping, restaurants, skiing, golf and other attractions and activities is a scenic 20–30-minute drive north.

Great layout and thoughtfulness in things like lighting and plugs. Our dog loved the backyard and what beautiful stars you can see sitting In The yard. We didn’t need any children amenities but that had a lot of them.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Our family had a really amazing time during our stay. The house was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. We loved that we were able to bring our furry friends along which is always a plus. Tamara was responsive to our questions/concerns and welcoming from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Great Place

We had a wonderful stay at this place, very clean, very spacious house, and has a perfect set up for everyone to enjoy and relax and not feel cramped. Lots of outside space for our fur babies to run around. The brook was also fun to hang out. Everything was nice, exactly just how it was described on the website. Our 2 teenagers loved the basement (parents as well). It was great spending time and playing with our kids. The owners were very responsive. We had question on starting up the grill, and they helped us figure it out. They even offered to send our dog’s harness cause we accidentally left it there. Nick and Tamara were excellent hosts. We highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable. -Forrest family-

Amazing family hiking getaway

A beautiful home with enough room for a good sized group. Well stocked with thoughtful touches that truly made it feel like a home away from home! Amazing communication with the host and felt welcomed right from opening the front door. Great accommodations for furry family members as well including the fully fenced in back yard! Just an overall great experience and would definitely recommend!

Little getaway during the holidays

The home had plenty of beds and space to spread out. We had rainy days so we did not do much exploring but enjoyed our time with our family. Our dog enjoyed the special treats left for him!

Wonderful rental

A very well maintained and stocked property. We used the air fryer quite a bit. It easily fit all guests as described in the listing. The river out back was a perfect amenity for swimming, for dogs swimming, and for generally hanging out on the beach. Fenced in yard was perfect for dogs and small children to play in. Hosts were very responsive and flexible.

Amazing

This place is amazing they thought of everything. From dogs to little kids. There was dog dishes and dog treats when we got there. There were game, toy (inside and out) and bath toys for the kids. It was going to rain and Tamara texted us with things we could do locally with the kids. I will definitely be coming back. I have never in my life had an experience like this with any place we stayed. Thank you this was amazing!

Great dog friendly house! Perfect place for friends, family and furry friends!

This house was the absolute perfect set-up for our family and dogs. Convenient location very close to great tourist attractions and good food nearby. Perks of the house: open the back slider right out to porch and fully fenced in back yard! Safe for kids and pups. Very clean, fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay! Nice personal touches - owners left treats for the pups and sticks for roasting marshmallows. Lots of options for sleeping arrangements with plenty of space and privacy. Set up so that you could easily have 2 families stay separate if desired. Showers had great water pressure! Kitchen and grill set up to cook easily with everything you need. It rained two days of our trip but we had games, Netflix and plenty to do indoors like foosball! On the nice days we went to Diana’s baths (about 30 min), kayaked at Lake Chocorua (7 min away!) we tried kayaking in river but there was a big storm the night before and river was a bit too rough - I think that was only because of the storm. Kayaking at the lake was awesome. We wanted to go to White Lake as well but forgot to plan ahead and get beach passes so would recommend getting those in advance if you want to go on a weekend. Great food! Rosie’s for breakfast - highly recommend. Horsefeathers in Conway - great pub food. Farm to Table market 7 min from house had the best meat, fresh produce, fresh milk and ice cream! We went there every day. Owners were kind, accommodating and a delight to deal with!

Every convenience of home…

This property is immaculate. The owners have put great thought into providing all the little extra touches from children’s play toys in the tub to aluminum foil in the kitchen !! Great little private beach area at the river and great fenced in yard !! Very dog friendly property as well.

Stay was great. Fenced yard was perfect for the dogs. They even have dog bowls! Riverfront was nice with sand, lounge chairs, a table and a few hammocks. Minim spots in every room and it was nice and cool on our 90 degree days. Lower level was perfect for our adult kids. White lake state park is a few minutes away as is Lake Chocorua

We love the lake life, and we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and make memories. We manage our houses ourselves, there is no agency involved. Most importantly we want people to be able to take their dogs on vacation with them and leave no-one behind. We have 4 big dogs ourselves and we know how important it is to be able to bring your dog with you on vacation.
We own 4 homes, all dog friendly, and we work hard to make sure they are all updated to high standards.
