Fabulous getaway property

We had a fabulous stay at this property in La Quinta! The property was very clean and well stocked. It's nicely decorated and provided a nice luxurious stay for my family. MICHELE was always available for anything we needed during our stay. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again! Thanks MICHELE for everything!

Wow.....what a lovely home!

As a group of 6 very discriminating women, it's not easy to please everyone in the group, but this place was perfect. The home is beautiful, with great accommodations for our group. Michele, the owner, could have been easier to work with....from booking the property to ensuring every detail for our stay. She even stocked the bar with our favorite beverages! The outdoor space was so lovely and perfect for outdoor dining and lounging! This place gets two thumbs up from everyone in the group!!

Great Tuscan estate in Indio California

If you want a high end and extremely comfortable place to stay that's near Coachella and Palm dessert there is only one place and we found it. As soon as we walked in we knew that it was right for us as we are used to staying in four seasons and are very picky about the amenities we were delightfully happy to find an estate that gave us everything we wanted. The pool and jacuzzi is beautiful and the living room is huge and very comfortable. Usually the beds in these types of rentals are not that good but not in this case, in fact I found out the brand through the owner and within 10 days had it delivered to my home. We look forward to staying longer the next time. Thank you Michelle.david and jessica

Nice place to stay near polo grounds.

This is a nice place to stay near the polo grounds in Indio. The place is lovely and spacious. The hosts were friendly. This house is located in a neighborhood with an HOA and that makes things a little onerous. The host made it very clear that a complete guest list was needed in advance of the stay and that no one other than the people on the list would be able to enter. This makes things a little tricky with festival trips as plans can change at the last minute. The host was reasonably flexible and allowed us to submit our final guest list ~2 weeks before the stay. The HOA is also extremely strict about street parking. There are only 4 spots available to park and absolutely now street parking (although there are plenty of places to park on the street). We had one car too many cars and the host quickly caller a neighbor to arrange for an additional spot for our party a few doors down. Generally, the place is nice, the hosts were friendly and accommodating, but the HOA generated some headaches.

Buyer Beware!

The property is nice, but I suspected something was wrong when the owner required that I wire her money instead of paying through HomeAway or by credit card. During our 3 day stay the owner was on-site, staying in the guesthouse. I thought that was odd, but not a big deal. I paid in advance a utility charge and a heating charge to use the pool and spa. When we arrived the pool and spa were cold and we asked if they could be heated since we paid in advance to have them heated. The owner said that we are not allowed to turn on the pool and spa heat, that she must control it herself. So we requested that she turn it on and she did. Then a couple of hours later she sent me a text message asking if we were done using the spa and it wasn't even hot yet! The pool was cold our entire stay and it was dirty upon our arrival. There was also a landscaper that came during our stay and blew dust and leaves all over us while we were in the backyard. (The dust is not the owners fault, but we told her since the pool was dirty). Everything was fine until a month passed an I never received my large security deposit, so I called the owner and asked her if she could please return my deposit. She said that she doesn't normally return the deposit until she has a chance to review the bills, yet her contract says that the deposit will be returned 21 days after the end of the stay. I became suspicious and after 60 days I requested again that she return my deposit. At this time she never told me that there was a problem and that she would be holding my deposit. She told me that her mother was sick and that she had been traveling and that she would try and send it to me as soon as possible. Another month went by and I emailed her again. Now she gives me another excuse. Oh, I have been so busy, I will get right on that. Another 2 weeks went by and I called her again. Now she says that she sent it and it must have been stolen. After 4 months, I finally received a letter from her stating that she had to charge us an additional fee for heating the pool and hot tube. Beyond the large fee that we had already paid. She also said that we were being charged to fix her microwave because it has an error message. How did we break your microwave? She basically made up charges to keep my significant deposit because she already spent the money. I suggest that anyone considering this property use their better judgement and if something doesn't seem right look elsewhere!

Absolutely fabulous

The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, spacious and fully stocked with every conceivable item you’d possibly need. And the pool area!! Beyond beautiful! There was not a single thing I would change! Oh, and I cannot forget the hosts Michele and Dominique: they were simply wonderful, ensuring everything, from booking through departure was stress free. Thank you so much! We’ll be back!!

Tropical Paradise, What a Treat!

What a treat! We just returned from a stay at Tranquility Tuscan Estate while attending a wedding in the area with friends. It is spacious and beautifully decorated, yet comfortable and private. The two living rooms, dining areas and media room/great room allowed us to hang out as a group or find a quiet spot to relax. It is immaculately kept and extremely well maintained. The many sets of french doors offered a wonderful flow between the formal dining room and piano room (the contemporary living room), master bedroom or great room and kitchen area to the pool, spa, and multiple outdoor entertaining spaces. We spent time in the evenings having a glass of wine and hanging out around the contemporary poolside fire pit watching the sun set and enjoying the pool’s many waterfalls and hot tub and of course, the beautiful Santa Rosa Mountains. In the mornings the large kitchen was the spot to gather, cook, and plan the day’s events over a cup of coffee. It truly boasts everything you need for cooking and entertaining, and we enjoyed having a friends over for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and a barbecue…. Entertaining in this magnificent home is truly effortless. Each bedroom and en suite bath has luxury linens, towels and bath soaps, lotions and bath gels, shampoos and conditioners. How thoughtful! We felt as though we were at a Resort, with all the special touches. The separate living room and bedroom with fireplace and another fully equipped kitchen (as well as more outdoor patios overlooking pool with another firepit as well) in the deluxe separate casita was a great bonus! This home is “THE PLACE” and a dream for just unwinding, entertaining and enjoying the tranquil desert surroundings. The layout is spacious and open. Between the beautiful indoor and outdoor surroundings and the media room/great room with dreamy, comfortable sectional, fireplace and huge TV, there is a place for everyone to enjoy. The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with and she went out of her way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. She even stocked our favorite beverages prior to arrival! We highly recommend a stay at the Tranquility Tuscan Estate! You really DO want to stay here and just UNWIND… after a long day of golf, or tennis or whatever…. This place recharges the soul and is a luxury get-away in every way!

Tranquil Resort Paradise

We enjoyed a special time at this luxurious property over New Years Weekend. From the moment we walked in the door we were Wow'd by everything from the beautiful furnishings to the magnificent backyard Oasis that awaited us... Firepits, colored lights in the pool and hot tub, lush lawn for bocce ball and playing catch, the literally tropical paradise with amazing landscaping to even the wine and cheese gift basket awaiting us to enjoy. Such thoughtful touches impressed me, like spa shampoos, soaps, lotions and scrubs in the bathrooms and gourmet coffees and teas to choose from in the pantry. Michele made this a true home away from home for us and for our vacation. The property itself is stellar, with mountain views and really no neighbor next to or behind, and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves by the firepit at night under the stars and also loved lounging and relaxing in the hot tub in the chilly evenings. What a very special property. Michele, for giving us such great recommendations for hiking, biking and even the suggestions for your favorite restaurants around town! We enjoyed Lavender Bistro immensely and taking a stroll down El Paseo and eating Brunch at Wilma and Freidas.... it was a special time. Thank you again, we can't wait to come back and enjoy this desert paradise!!

Beautiful and Tranquil Resort Paradise

We had the best vacation at this relaxing Oasis in the Desert for New Years Week. Such a beautiful property with amazing mountain views and literally a tropical Resort in the lushly landscaped backyard. We relaxed around the firepit, and enjoyed the evenings soaking in the hot tub, watching the colored lights change under the stars in the evening! We also enjoyed the comfortable beds and the bathrooms were stocked with all sorts of Spa products, such a treat ! What made it truly special is the time Michelle took with us, treating us like VIPs and always available for any question -- from the wine and gift items at check-in and recommendations for biking, hiking trails and even favorite restaurants. This lovely property is a true home away from home and we were lucky enough to have such a gracious host who cared about every detail of our stay. The house is beautifully furnished with designer furnishings, and it is truly a magnificent property that Wows you when you walk in the front door. It is impeccably clean and well-maintained, unlike most rental properties and we were impressed with the attention to detail, down to the comfortable beds, and luxury linens. The Estate had so many different outdoor areas to relax and unwind, with colorful tropically landscaped plants and a lush lawn for playing bocce ball and playing catch. We cannot wait to return for our next trip! Thank you Michelle for making it such a magical time for us at your special place....!

My family and I visited for my Birthday. The trip was paramount to me as it was the first time I had an opportunity to have all my children, their spouses, and their children in the same place at once. Thank goodness I found my way to Michele and her beautiful property! From our first conversation, she made it her personal mission to ensure we had all we needed to make my celebration fantastic. When I opened the link to the Villa, the home seemed to have absolutely EVERYTHING we were hoping for. There was comfortable sleeping for all 13 of us, plenty of bathrooms, 2 well-appointed family rooms, an outstandingly equipped kitchen, and indoor and outdoor family dining areas. With its truly fabulous pool, lovely shared and private patios and (drum roll please) a price that made it PERFECT, I jumped on it. To say the Villa, and our stay exceeded all of our expectations would be a monumental understatement! From the brilliant blooms out front, on through the peaceful courtyard, and into the blissfully well cooled and beautifully decorated main house my joy mounted until I was fairly squealing as I ran from room to room matching each to its description. And, there on the Kitchen counter, was a bouquet of flowers, thoughtfully chosen beverages and a card wishing me Happy Birthday, I was actually choking up by the time I made it out to the utterly stunning pool and grounds of the backyard. I was delighted to note the promised plethora of lounges, chairs, and most importantly full-size umbrellas considerately gathered from throughout the property and thoughtfully placed to create a generous shaded area (a special request due to prior skin cancer that made it possible for everyone to enjoy the pool). It wasn't until the others arrived that I realized I hadn't even seen the Casitas’s. We had EVEN MORE WONDERFUL SPACE to spread out in! The kids, big (mine) and little (their’s) were in the pool before the bags were unpacked, The was fired up and the beach towels, floats, and pool toys retrieved and put to service. As I stood looking out at my beloved family happily catching up on each other's lives and passing tiny babies and giggling toddlers around for hellos I sent a Thank you up for an honest and obviously conscientious owner and what had already been coined by all “the best family vacation ever”! P.S. Ask for the waterfalls, such ambiance, tres chic. Seriously, everything was PERFECT!

Wonderful stay at this fantastic home!

This beautiful house is absolutely wonderful and put together with a truly wonderful design and lots of character and the furnishings and décor are "in- style" and very luxurious. Michele really made everything about our stay easy and convenient from our initial conversation to the booking process. Stepping into this lovely house you can really tell Michele put an incredible amount of love and inspiration into decorating the house as well as the beautifully landscaped gardens, pool and hot tub area which is by the way, FANTASTIC, and just every detail about the many outdoor areas to relax and enjoy this special property.. There are so many vacation rental houses I've stayed at that are managed by rental agencies and many are cheaply put together, without a true sense of style and tacky, impersonal decor. Michele and her husband have really thought of everything and the Estate feels like a warm, inviting home and yet has everything you need for a special get away. That really sets this house in a class of its own. Its a truly remarkable property, one of the nicest we have ever had the opportunity to stay at! This is a special property, a true home away from home, run by warm, caring and real people who are empathetic and accommodating. The floor plan is great for large groups as the bedrooms are spread out on different ends of the Main House and then there are more in the guesthouses which are completely separate. What a great design! The location is beyond wonderful The gated community is very upscale and clean, and it was set apart from some of the other properties so it is very private too. Incredible time at this Stunning Luxury home!

This lovely home was the best we've yet stayed in the Desert----very private, elegant but warm and inviting. From the upscale indoor appointments and luxury furnishings to the super fun and amazing backyard – everything is First Class. The main house alone was worth the cost between the luxurious bedrooms, beautiful living and dining rooms, bar area/butler’s pantry, living room w/baby grand piano, etc., but the two separate guest houses make it unbelievable if you have in-laws or friends for whom you want to give some privacy. We ate outside in one of the outdoor living/dining rooms (there are several outdoor patios) most nights looking at the beautiful pool and gardens and prepared great meals on one of the two outdoor BBQs. Gourmet everything here---we rarely went to dinner as we felt we had a mini Four Seasons right in our own backyard. Bar none, this is one of the most beautiful, tranquil places I have ever stayed. Great views of the mountains from the pool, which is very large with two tanning shelves and two waterfalls and colored lights that made our evenings relaxing with a glass of wine in the hot tub particularly memorable. The grounds are perfectly landscaped and also stunning. The owners were super easy to work with, very accommodating and truly seemed to care about making every detail of our stay (down to little touches like the wonderful gift basket at arrival) just PERFECT – they made the entire rental process effortless and we could not be happier. Overall, it’s definitely a very, very special property, unparalleled to other houses we’ve rented in the past. I would say that this place is perfect if you are looking for a quiet place to get away and relax. My family and friends and I spent several days here and we all felt completely rejuvenated after the trip and can't wait to return! --- Bottom line: Great Location. Remarkable Luxury Home.

WOW-Great golf trip/stay at this LUXURY property!

My overall experience at this property was amazing - you seriously won't want to leave. Each year, a group of guys and I get away for our annual golf trip and this year we tried this one -- it was far nicer than any other property we've ever stayed at, period. First impression walking in: the pictures truly do not do this place justice, it's gorgeous and was much larger than expected and with so many bedrooms (several rooms had multiple beds - great for large groups) so that we could each have our own space and relax as well as tons of separate personal lounging and entertaining spaces indoors and out - we were thrilled we chose this place ! We weren't looking to go out and party as our goal was to play golf and relax and this home was MORE than just what we needed. Most of the time was spent hanging out by the beautiful pool and hot tub when we weren't golfing. With the pool's many waterfalls, large hot tub, outdoor BBQ and multiple fire pits, we were in heaven - this was like a resort but only better because we had it all to ourselves! The spacious floor plan made it easy for the early risers to not wake the late nighters, and the kitchen was the perfect size - we all like to eat well and cook or barbecue and just hang out. We look forward to our annual golf trip each year, and we cannot wait for another adventure and are looking forward to returning to this special property. The owner was kind enough to even throw in one of the guesthouses as a bonus for our stay and was very easy to work with, she and her husband responded to every text, call or email promptly. We cannot begin to say enough great things about this property and the owners --their customer service was top notch. The house is meticulously clean and very well maintained. The indoors is extremely comfortable with very nice furnishings and the outdoors is literally a tropical paradise. I highly recommend this property to families, couples or a group or to anyone looking for a cut above. You will be more than pleased -- we were indeed. Awesome Stay at this Amazing Estate!!

Our family of nine stayed at this amazing property over Labor Day weekend. We were referred to this exquisite Estate by a friend who stayed last year and could not stop talking about how great it was, as we usually stay at a friends house in PGA West and wanted to try something different. The house is immaculate and well appointed with tasteful furnishings and decor. The Pool, spa, tanning shelves and waterfalls were amazing, and the outdoor entertaining areas were the perfect spot to lounge in the sun and work on our tans. My son and daughter-in-law, who love to cook, were very impressed with the high end appliances and convection ovens, and two dining rooms, with plenty of space to entertain and enjoy the evenings together. Beds, linens, and pillows were very, very comfortable and high-end, much nicer than other homes we've stayed in, or even at luxury hotels. It is a short drive to El Paseo, and downtown La Quinta, and the La Quinta Resort, with many great restaurants and shopping nearby. I would highly recommend the Cliffhouse for a casual dinner or even Tommy Bahamas, which was an entertaining atmosphere with delicious food. Michele, the owner, was extremely attentive, responsive, and very professional - very friendly, ammodating, and easy to work with. Great communication. I would recommend this property for those looking to vacation in the La Quinta or Palm Springs Area. You will enjoy a time spent at this Villa truly like no other and I would highly recommend it as a special home away from home to anyone looking for a fabulous family vacation.

Phenomenal resort property - fantastic stay!

My family and I stayed at this luxurious property for several days in the beginning of summer. Our stay was second to none at this relaxing resort style home, and throughout our stay the hostess Michele was very professional, and paid great attention to detail for even our gift basket with several wines, champagne, coffees, water and teas that welcomed us upon arrival! She was always available by phone or text and made sure that our stay was perfect in every way. The Estate itself is quite impressive and meticulously maintained and beautifully decorated; and the surroundings are particularly special as this property is very secluded, with privacy and incredible tropically landscaped grounds much like a five diamond resort. Adding to this once in a lifetime experience was waking up each morning to the magnificent pool with waterfalls, (and colored lights that changed colors throughout the night) and extremely large hot tub, as well as the many outdoor entertaining areas we enjoyed during our stay while we barbecued with friends outdoors. We look forward to returning again soon to this fantastic property. Thank you Michelle for making our vacation memorable at your fantastic home!

Great home for golf outing!

As an experienced renter of homes through HomeAway and other services (more than 30 rentals over past 10 years), I can say this was the best short-term rental I've ever experienced! As you can see from the pictures, the house is beautifully decorated, the layout is perfect, and space is plentiful. The pool and patio area are fabulous, and the hot tub was just what was needed after long days golfing (we were a group of 8 men on a golf outing). What distinguishes this home from others, however, is the service. Michelle was always there for us, whether in person, by phone, or by text, to take care of our every need. Arranging the rental was easy and low stress. Checking in was convenient and timely. Turn on the hot tub? No problem. Pull a bottle of vodka out of storage? Done. Welcoming beer and wine in the fridge? Of course! Michelle made this a true home away from home for us. I couldn't give a better recommendation. Trust me, you want to stay here!

Paradise Found at Last!

Renting your lovely Estate was a great experience for our family, and made our trip to the Palm Springs Area a memorable one - honestly it was more than we ever expected and made our vacation out of this world! It was even better than pictured from the photos and your property is not only luxurious and beautifully furnished, it had every amenity we could think of close by~ and your pool and hot tub with all of the waterfalls and amazing mountain views was like being at a resort~ better actually since we had it all to ourselves! We are truly lucky to have found such a super getaway. I loved that the beds were so comfy especially your wonderful master bedroom with views of the pool and the mountains it was much more comfortable and inviting than a luxury resort at such a great price. We absolutely loved your outdoor sanctuary too so thank you for providing us truly a tropical paradise, we will be back again!

Great New Year's Holiday Stay in the Desert!!

We had a great time during our stay at this lovely property during New Year’s week, and it is a one of a kind luxury estate and to spend 5 days here was truly a once in a lifetime experience for my sons & daughters as well as our grandchildren ! We loved relaxing in the great room with the cozy fireplace, and really appreciated the spectacular Holiday/ Christmas decorations, so much space to stretch out even though we had a very large group, with all of the beautiful bedrooms – each professionally decorated, and comfortable beds with dreamy linens and fur throws, down comforters, it was just like – no, better than staying at a 5-star resort! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent on your tranquil grounds, it was a fantastic stay from the moment we arrived to find every room set up perfectly for the grand kids with stuffed animals, toys and even flatscreen TVs in every room, as well as the endless games and activities you have available for your guests and the kids enjoyed watching the streaming Netflix Movies too. The Gourmet Chef’s Kitchen was great and the pantry was fully stocked upon arrival, there were even fire logs for the two outdoor firepits and the outdoor living areas were great for lounging around, with couches and chaises to relax and watch the stars while making S'mores after dinner -- too perfect! We loved being able to go over to the resort to play golf and tennis and with restaurants and shopping so close it is a great location and all of your suggestions on where to dine were very helpful, thank you! Loved the pools/spa as well. So in a nutshell, WOW~!! you made our holiday special and a memorable stay for our family and I cannot thank you enough for being so accommodating to us, and for even the special luxury welcome basket stocked with the fabulous selection of delicious nuts, cracker's & cheeses, holiday cookies, teas, imported coffees, bottles of wine and other items (even toiletries in case we had forgotten something) you selected for our family was simply over the top. Fantastic Tuscan Desert Escape - Terrific Stay!!

In the 20 years my family has been gathering for Thanksgiving, this year was among the best. Your house is truly beautiful, all we needed to enjoy and cook was there and your property is quite luxurious, one of the finest we've ever rented and the use of the resort was seamless. As to the resort, my girls used the gym almost every day, two took a class and we used the pool almost every day!! Again all was truly wonderful. Also wanted to thank you so much for the terrific gift basket of items left for our family upon arrival, what a delightful surprise, and we hope to stay again at your grand Estate next time we visit California and the Palm Springs Area!

Treasure in the Desert

We very much enjoyed access to La Quinta Resort where we played in the many great pools, used the athletic facilities, and even had the opportunity to easily rent bikes. The short 5 minute drive from the property to the resort made our stay even more convenient, as did easy access to all of the important amenities such as the Living Desert zoo, the Children's Discovery Museum, and the more basic necessities such as grocery stores and 24 hour pharmacies (all less than 5 minutes drive). We will certainly be back to this treasure in the desert!

What sets this spectacular property apart from other rentals is its unique setting. With no neighbor directly next door or behind, you and your guests will enjoy relaxing outdoors~ it feels like a bit of the Hawaiian Islands or the tropics in our lushly landscaped paradise. I chose this particular setting and property as it was the very largest in our gated community. When I designed the rooms, I had the builder install extra french doors in almost every one of the rooms make indoor/outdoor living easy and tranquil, from the two living rooms in the Main House, each that open onto separate entertaining areas, or the Formal Dining room and informal Tuscan Eat-In Kitchen that open also onto the Pool Area. Our Pool is one of the largest, Tuscan Pools with three waterfalls, to provide a "spa" like setting when relaxing during the day or in the evening when enjoying a glass of wine under the stars or just soaking in the hot tub. The Tommy Bahama King Guesthouse is perfect for extended family or larger groups with friends or couples.
