Island House Beach Resort - Siesta Key Florida, Crescent Beach - Este amplio 2 dormitorios, 2 baños villa es appox. 1000 sq. Ft. Tiene una gran sala de estar, comedor, cocina totalmente equipada, todos los electrodomésticos, Aire acondicionado central / calor, aparcamiento cubierto, terraza seleccionados, wi-fi en la unidad! La unidad es para no alfombrado y tiene una cama de matrimonio, 2 dobles, sofá-cama. La villa tiene 3 televisores, dvd. No hay teléfono de línea terrestre. Está a pocos pasos de las hermosas aguas turquesa del Golfo de México. El complejo muy bien cuidado y se encuentra en la parte más ancha de la Media Luna Beach. Hay 2 cabañas de playa, sillas de playa, una gran piscina climatizada, sala de juegos, juego de tejo y un pintoresco patio frente a la playa, donde disfrutará de las puestas de sol más impresionantes. Hay muchas tiendas, restaurantes, campos de golf, canotaje, parapente, tenis, galerías de la zona. Busch Gardens, Disney son de una distancia corta. A beautiful home; well appointed and practically right on the beach. We loved it!

This was our first visit to Siesta Key and we loved it. The home was beautiful, with a modern kitchen and recently renovated bathrooms. We were practically on the beach and this was clearly the strength of this accommodation. The Island House resort sits on a quieter section of the beach and was never crowded. The nearby shared pool was nice too, but we hardly went there, as the beach / warm beach water were generally just as easy an option each time. We loved this place so much that we're thinking of making a return visit next March. The only issue we had was that there was something going on with the wifi router? We didn't really mess with it and usually had a nearby network to log into or something better to do :)

Another wonderful week!

Nice house but owner unresponsive to important question

Reviewer Comments: I had a wonderful time staying at this house - it was located a very short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and stores. It was very clean too. The office and security staff were wonderful and super helpful. My only negative feedback is related to the home owner. When I first reserved the house months before my vacation date, I paid my deposit and planned to pay the rest of the cost just before my arrival date as noted on the VRBO site. However, the entire fee was charged to my credit card the day after I paid my deposit. I was worried that my credit card may have been compromised so I reached out to the owner to confirm it was him who charged the whole payment months earlier than stated. He never responded. I tried multiple times via the VRBO app, via his cell and talking directly to VRBO who tried to help. There was never a response. I was worried that the whole thing was a scam. Everything ended up being fine, but the fact that the owner did not even bother to let me know that my credit card was charged by him and why he charged me for everything way before the stated payment date, was really horrible. Terrible customer service. I have rented a number of homes through VRBO and never had this issue of unresponsiveness with an owner. Every other owner has been kind and helpful.

Only issue was receiving the wrong keys so waited 1 hour plus for entry. Adding mattress toppers would be a big plus for comfort.

The owner keeps it updated and replaces worn and broken furniture and furnishings. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware, small kitchen appliances and cooking utensils. It's in a great location...about halfway between the beach and the pool.

Sadly, a little disappointed this year

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I stay at the Island House every single year since June of 2015. This place has become a place we look forward to every single year and a place very special to our family. This year I was a little disappointed because we had sugar ants in our bedroom and actually in our bed. I understand there isn’t much you can do for them and the maintenance man did put some poison out for them which we appreciated. The bigger issue we discovered is we actually kept finding what we figured out was termite feces in our bed as well. We’d clean it off and a couple hours later it returned. We figured out what it was because the droppings were landing right underneath two holes in the ceiling that had been scotch taped, but there were holes in the tape. Needless to say, we were disgusted and let the front desk know. Not much was said other than here are some clean sheets and yes that’s termite feces. Maintenance also came and retaped the holes. A little disappointed this year. :( Would still like to come back but it may take my husband some convincing after our stay this year.

Amazing stay

We normally rent at another location and while we love the location, the prices have been quite high and often include extras such as the resort fee and charges for beach chairs and umbrellas. We came upon this listing as a last minute find and couldn't have been happier and there weren't the extra charges per day. The property was clean and conveniently located, parking for two cars and all the necessities one would need. I loved having the ability to make meals in the fully stocked kitchen and having two bathrooms was great! We loved mornings and evenings on the screened in porch, it was truly an enjoyable stay and we cannot wait to book another stay in this unit. Scott was also super responsive and the office staff was helpful with any questions I happened to have had.

Very relaxing stay

Short walk right onto the beach, close to many areas for shopping and eating, best is relaxing right on the beach in the nice warm sun.

Nice 2 week stay. Beautiful property and beach.

The couch was in poor condition, the screen door didn't lock, the master bath sink had no stopper, carport light had no glass enclosure, the pantry door was off it's track and there was a small hole in the wall behind the 2nd bedroom door! Some basic maintenance would be appreciated.

We were steps from the one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The powder like sound was so pretty and so soft. It was close to everything, 10 minute car ride or free trolley ride into the village where there was lots of restaurants, bars with live music and shopping. I would definitely recommend this place.
