Very nice. Fishing tackle isn’t much. But Walmart is close. Caught lots of fish.

Sunset lakes villa.....beware of the gator! 😬

Beautiful villa in a perfect location overlooking a lake! Close to all parks, restraints and attractions. Quiet neighbourhood. Felt very safe and secure. We did actually see a gator in the lake so just be aware.....added to the fun for us!

Our best villa stay so far

** We have stayed in many Florida villas but this is the best so far. ** -- The villa appears almost new, just a few years old and so everything is in great condition. The heated pool is a good size and the whole pool area is south facing thus gets the sun all day. -- The pool area overlooks the lake where fish jump and turtles swim. Disney and the others is an easy trip, approx 25 minutes door to door, with a local shops a 10 minute drive to the main strip nearby. -- At night it's quiet, no traffic noise. Our kids loved the games in the garage (air football). -- The kitchen is fully equipped, there's really nothing missing from this villa.

Simply the best.

I have no words to say how comfortable, safe and happy our stay was at the home of Tina. The house is really close to everything. Restaurants, parks, markets, shops. At the same time, it is in the nature and is located in a wonderful condo. The house is really very good. Very well furnished, all delivered very cute! The additional charm was the towels: we found it in the form of sculpture! The house managers (Gail and Steve) are very attentive. Did not have to talk much with them, but what I needed, was very well attended! Anyway, NOTHING, absolutely nothing was wrong! Tina was very helpful throughout the rental process. I will certainly be back many more times!

Love the view.

We loved our stay. This property is nicely updated. The appliances are brand new! The pans and dishes are in excellent shape. The carpet in the master bedroom needs updated, some of the tacks stick up at the door ways poking bare feet. Can't wait to stay again.

Under new Ownership/management

We stayed in this property 3 years ago under the previous owner. We enjoyed it so much we decoded to return again. Sadly things have changed, and not for the better. On first inspection the property looked reasonably clean. Until we went out onto the pool deck. Unwashed deck, dirty old goggles on the floor. The pool furniture was disgusting. The plastic lounger arms were covered and stained in black. The cushions stained. There was also a loose cushion on the floor covered in black mould. Inside, the dishwasher still had food in it. Only one wine glass and one soup spoon for a property that is supposed to accommodate up to 10 people. The towels were small and threadbare. The sheets thin and old fashioned. Absolutely nothing had been left to assist new visitors, such as a few dish washing tablets, some soap powder, a bit of washing up liquid. We always leave whatever we buy to assist the next visitor. This place had been thoroughly cleared out !! There were also 9 light bulbs out through the house and a broken door in the cabinet below the TV. Although instructions were left as to when the bins were to be put out, nothing to tell us what could be put in the recycling bin. Places and countries do vary as to what can be recycled. There we no instructions as to how to use the 3 different handsets for TV and cable, etc. Finally there was an old black Mercedes car parked outside of the property for our entire stay. No idea who it belonged to. All in all a very disappointing stay. Perhaps that is why there are so very few recent reviews. 5 in the last 3 years since we last posted! This property is tired looking and needs some TLC. If it is run by a management company then the owner should consider changing. We had our own property on Sunset Lakes which we rented out for over 5 years with a management company so we know what to expect from a rental property.

I am sorry you were disappointed with your stay. You did reach out when you arrived and the issues that you had were addressed. We never heard from you again. You complained about the outside tracks to the sliders. This house has been fully booked. Not all the bookings came from Homeaway . That is why there are only a few recent reviews. The house is on many websites and the reviews have been great. Not everyone does write a review. As far as the lights go when we came to check them - all that needed to be done was pulling the string to the ceiling light and all the lights come on. You can have 2 lights set to come on or 4 lights. When you came in it was set for 2 lights to come on. The other lights were on the switches. We only changed 1 light bulb. There is also plenty of silverware and wine glasses, not sure why you did not see them. It is a self catering home. If the previous guests leave anything like dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid we leave it for the next guests. I feel this review is not justified based on the history of the house. Everyone seems to love this home. We have never had a review like this on the house.

Great location fully equipped villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fantastic location, just 10 mins from Disney and a few minutes from plenty of restaurants and shops. Villa was spacious and clean and fully equipped with everything you could need. Gated community in a safe neighbourhood.....never disturbed by noise. South facing pool with lovely views over the lake.....even some curious local herons and turtles to watch. Gail was very helpful and responsive to any of our questions both before and during our stay......we really couldn’t have asked for more! We would certainly recommend this property and hope to return again in years to come. 😊

There was something just right for each member of the family

Our entire family loved the house. The children enjoyed the pool and spending quality time in the garage with the games. The adults loved having the comfort of our own place with the flexibility of walking/driving in/near the neighborhood to more social activities. We all loved the bedrooms and how comfortable they felt after a day of activities. There aren't enough words to express how grateful we were to land such a great place. thank you!!

Great house with, great location, pool, and setting!!!!

Excellent house!! Well maintained with nice up dates. The pool is very comfortable and the maintenance people were very responsive. Quiet location and the view over the lake is wonderful.I would give this house 5 *****.!!!!!

Well located Villa in beautiful surroundings

We stayed here over Christmas and New Year and found the Villa had everything we needed. This is our second visit to Sunset Lakes, and the gated community that it is in was lovely and we felt very safe here. The view from the Villa over the lake is beautiful and very peaceful. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful. The community is situated only 10 mins away from the Disney parks and it was great to return to peace and quiet after a long day in the parks. The owners were great with communication both before the trip and whilst we were at the Villa when the swimming pool cover needed attention. The problem was dealt with straight away. The local supermarket and restaurants are only 5 mins away. Would definitely recommend the Villa to friends and family for their stay in Florida. Thank you Tina for letting us stay here, we had a great time and the weather was amazing! Look forward to being able to return soon.

Perfect Home from Home for a Perfect Holiday.

We couldn't have asked for more. A welcome return every day after a day at one of many parks. A fantastic pool, great view, wonderful neighbours, clean, every facility you could ask for. This truly is the perfect place to stay when visiting Florida. Great communication from the owners from start to finish. We will definitely be back. Many thanks for letting us share your home. What a location !

Wonderful peaceful stay in a really lovely, comfortable villa. Tina and Andy were so helpful in the arrangements and everything went as planned. Facilities were excellent and the location overlooking the lake was first class. If you want to visit Disney then this is the place to stay. Only 10 minutes from the Animal Kingdom! We would recommend this villa to anyone and we will definitely return. Thanks again.

Fantastic location, great house

We stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely house. Coming from the Netherlands we want to mention the very good communication with the owners. The house was clean with a beautyfull sight on the lake and a great pool. As we have been 20 times in the kissimmee area we have seen several properties and this one will be on our shortlist for a next vacation. Thanks again Tina

Lovely villa in a perfect location

The villa was beautiful and was in the perfect location, only a 10 minute drive from Disney World and 30 minutes from Universal Studio. The gated community where the villa is located is lovely and peaceful. Returning from a busy day at the parks, it was lovely to either have a dip in the pool or sit and watch the sun go down over the lake. The pool had the sun all day long. We would definitely love to stay at this Villa again and would highly recommend this to our family and friends. The contact with the owners has been great too, very helpful. Thank you. We had a fantastic holiday.

We loved this house

Our family stayed here during spring break and it was our best trip to Orlando yet. The house was very, very clean and had everything we needed. It is tastefully decorated and child friendly. There is a game room which was a nice surprise for our kids. The neighborhood is convenient to shopping and it's easy to get to attractions from this location, but it feels peaceful and secluded on the patio by the pool, overlooking the lake. The owner was easy to communicate with and when the pool alarm needed new batteries it was promptly taken care of. Plenty of towels and linens. The only thing I would ask for next time is a laundry basket :)

Great house! Great location!

The house is wonderful. It is much nicer than the pictures. The family thoroughly enjoyed it and the teenagers especially enjoyed the pool. The view from the pool is fantastic!!! My family and I drove up from Fort Lauderdale and our GPS didn't work. We had trouble finding the house. The management company was very helpful in giving directions. The rating is a 4 because when we first arrived the Wi-Fi didn't work. When we called the management company they called someone right away and corrected it. I will definitely stay again.

Highly recommended

Fantastic place to stay! Everything was clean and the house had anything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the pool and its view of the lake. Great quiet neighborhood. Loved the family photos on the wall. We will most definitely stay here again.

Fab villa, clean. Very near to all the shops, restaurants and Disney Parks. Extra's are good like the beach chair's, umbrella and cool boxes that we used for the beach. Would definitely use this villa again.

Had a wonderful time!

Had a wonderful 11 day stay! Villa was even nicer than in the pictures. Very clean, well maintained and had all the amenities described. Very close to all the parks and lots of restaurants, yet in a quiet gated community. Loved it! Wish we were still there!
