River Side Cottage - Downtown - Peloton Bike

Welcome to the River Side Cottage in Charlevoix! This is our special place to make memories and enjoy this incredible area and we hope it becomes yours as well. Originally built between 1906 and 1911 this historical cottage was completely renovated in 2023. Lake Michigan only a few hundred feet away. Just minutes away from the boutique shops, amazing restaurants and some fudge in downtown Charlevoix. You can wave to the passengers on the Beaver Islander from the front porch! Plenty of parking available in the driveway or out front in the city parking spaces. All of downtown is within walking distance.

The house was beautiful and met our needs perfectly. We gathered as a family to attend our daughter’s wedding, and the location was ideal—close to town and everything we needed, but best of all, right on the river with a very short walk to the pier. The host responded very quickly, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Thank you!

This beautiful home overlooks the channel of Charlevoix. The house is well-maintained and the updates were professionally done. Our family of 10 adults had plenty of space for group activities and alone time. We loved everything!

A wonderful, charming old house that is fully rennovated. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are lovely and have great water pressure in the showers. Very comfortable and it was nice to have the use of baby equipment including a high chair, port-a-crib, and a double running stroller. The location is really special, right on the Pine River where you can walk out on the pier and fish or watch the sunset. Very quick walk into town where there are lots of restaraunts and shops as well as a farmers market on Thursday. Quick walk to the beach too. The owner is very easy to work with and very helpful.

Beautiful property in ideal location!

We had the most amazing stay with our group of friends on a ski trip. The design of the property is stunning and there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and sleep comfortably. You also can’t beat this location when planning a trip to Charlevoix in all seasons as it’s within walking distance to the beach and downtown attractions. Would definitely stay again!

Great location steps from the harbor!

This 5 bedroom house was absolutely perfect for our family for the week. The recent renovation turned out beautiful, and everything is like new. Great decor, clean, and everything needed is provided. The house is also perfectly located in downtown Charlevoix, steps from the harbor, restaurants and shopping. 10/10!!!

The property is beautiful, it exceeded our expectations and blew us away. It is nicely remodeled yet has the original character of the historical home that it is. We stayed for our son's wedding weekend, and had various family members staying with us. The many bedrooms (and bathrooms) - and the location near the other hotels and the town was perfect for us. The living room and kitchen are very relaxing and a great place to hang out. Overall it was wonderful and would definitely recommend this place for a larger family or group.

Family Vacation

We could not have been happier with our stay at Pine River Lane. The home was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. Also a very spacious home, so perfect for two families. Our host was great at checking in, and readily available. The location can’t be beat with walking distance to downtown, steps to the beach, and a short drive to skiing. We are already looking forward to a return stay during the warmer months.

Birthday

The home was very nice and very clean. We stayed at time when small flys were all over the outside the home, so we didn’t get to use the outside porch . We had thought the home had a direct view of the water so that was a surprised. I would recommend this home however would go on a different week , not in May when these small flyers are swarming. Thank you Neil , you have a lovely home.
