Good weekend getaway

Excellent host John 😇💫 had a good nascar weekend only 10 min away from MIS was perfect cabin for weekend he left us a nascar pin that was so kind the cabin was cozy and had heat and ac which was perfect 🌻

Quiet little cabin!

It was a perfect cabin in a very quiet location, just what we were looking for. Only had one issue and that was was with the refrigerator freezing our food! Other than that we had an amazing stay there. Would definitely stay there again.

Hidden gem

The check-in was very easy, arriving to the property the A/C unit was running and ready. Loved that it was tucked back in the woods. It was quiet and clean. We’re looking forward on coming back

I would give you excellent writing on check-in timed unbelievable for that !!! The place has everything you need for cooking towels, shampoo, cleaning stuff to clean your dishes you dirty , soap ac fans blankets everything in a kitchen you need is there!! Ok now for the beds are old or way to soft or something made my wife that has no back or hip issues was in pain the first nap we took and so was the couch was hard so you butt is sore from no comfortable stuff to lay or sit on. Need’s some kind of curtains in the windows ? All have NO curtains Just the main big window is the only curtains? Ok the big thing is the price jumped big time for nothing same stuff we had a few years ago when we gave you a good Star review and now it’s up in price. The place needs more work for the price you pay when you walk in you have ceiling paint hanging you have molding and stuff that is not completed . The carpet is very old stains everywhere so bring slippers or something to cover feet after your shower. The place has a new updated bathroom that was only thing that was new in the rustic style cabin and no lake to swim in and fishing is a joke with the Lilly pads and grass everywhere. I would very much look into what they have and what they say they have two different options.

Clean, rustic cabin

Nice place to use as a base for visiting the Irish Hills. Bathroom is new and very nice; the bedrooms are spartan but comfortable. The fridge freezes everything in it, so be careful what you put in there.

We enjoyed our stay. Amenities and the cabin were better than expected. As for being able to walk in the woods, absolutely not. There is poison ivy everywhere. However it is a lovely and quiet secluded place to sit and relax. Cabin has just about everything you would need. If you 100% have to have cell service, be warned that service is spotty. But we enjoyed unplugging for a bit.

Very rustic but fun. Lake not usable but we weren't there for that. Bathroom door didn't shut all the way. Needs to be rehung or shaved down a bit. Hope to stay again.

Never made it

Thanks to the weather, we decided to return home rather than driving to the property, so we never saw it in person. John was a very responsive & professional host though. I would book the property again based solely on our communications.
