What you get:

Inside - Comfortably Sleeps 8, Lower Level - Walk Out, Private Entrance, 4 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Open Kitchen, Dining & Living Room.

Outside - Private Patio, Covered Dining Area, Fire Pit, Kayaks, PICKLEBALL COURT, Paddle Board, Very Large Yard 6 acres. Barbeque, Walking paths in the woods, Private Road, almost no traffic. Very quiet space. Large grass areas for playing games, frisbee, catch, wiffle ball, badminton, etc.

The Lake - 110-acre private lake, spring fed, two sandy beaches, 300 feet of waterfront. Dock, great fishing, sand toys, great for swimming, gradual drop off.

This location is very spacious and private. If you are looking to get away and relax, this is your place. Perfect for young kids as well!

So worth it!

Had an awesome 10 days at the cottage. So homey and relaxing. Had family and friends to celebrate the 4th and wasn’t disappointed. Bill was great and very helpful. Loved his sense of humor. Will definitely make a return trip. Thanks for everything!

Enjoyed our stay

Nice backyard with a sandy beach area that our boys (ages 2 -6) enjoyed along with the kayaks and paddle board. Bedrooms were nice size and the house was neat and clean. Host was available and attentive to any requests.

wonderful house in a wonderful location

My coworkers and I have stayed here multiple times for the races in Brooklyn. This house is just minutes away from the track! It has a beautiful property sitting just feet away from a wonderful lake. We had plenty of room for 4 adults and would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was beautiful! The house was comfy and a great place to unwind and relax. Close to the Faster Horses venue! Bill was very helpful and accommodating, everything will be absolutely fantastic once construction is complete on the upstairs!

Great Property and Host

Wonderful lakefront house nestled in Irish Hills area. Very secluded and host is extremely accommodating. Great for families as there is an orchard nearby with fun things to do with kids of all ages. The house is very modern and clean. Our family did a weekend trip to celebrate our oldest daughters birthday. We were here in peak fall color and thoroughly enjoyed the colors and serenity.

Great experience!

Bill was very accommodating and friendly. The location was beautiful and pretty private. We had a wonderful family cookout and Bill brought over a couple items for us to use. My husband and I used the kayaks one evening and it was very peaceful. We would definitely rent again. Thanks for the hospitality!

Family vacation

The property had a very pretty view and a lot of activities to do in the lake. The patio was screened in, which was very convenient for our dogs. The place was very clean and spacious. The house had appliances, board games and beach towels, which was appreciated. We would definitely return for another get away.

Life is great at the lake!

Short family vacation w kids and grandkids. Had a wonderful time playing in the sand, taking kayaks out on the beautiful peaceful lake. Great area for family pet to be confined to.5 year old grandson enjoyed running around the open space surrounding home. Great bonfire pit for nightly fires. Very accommodating host for this property. Great memories were made! Hope to return some day!

Beautiful lakefront. Lower unit only though. Which I thought was misleading on the profile. But that didnt affect the stay. Private with owner next door for anything you might need to ask about the property. Communication good. Caught various types of fish ...blue gill, perch,largemouth bass, rock bass. Nice shady area to sit. Sandy beach area. Nice covered porch with plenty of seating. Very peaceful tranquil setting. Kayaks and paddle board available were an added touch that the grand kids loved. Not as pricey as many others in the area for what you get to enjoy. Overall wonderful stay and recomend to anyone wanting to recharge and unwind by a beautiful lake.
We brought inflatable boat with a trolling motor. Perfect 👌

Our group was in town for a wedding, the venue was a 6-minute drive, couldn't have gotten a better location! We truly enjoyed our stay here and were able to take full advantage of the large number of amenities this property provided. We loved the kayaks and paddle board (life jackets provided), used the firepit with ample firewood, and cooked dinner on the grill. We also played pickleball and hiked through the wooded area on the property. Our hikes were lots of fun, lots of mushrooms and nature to discover. We saw tons of wildlife including a supercool owl! The space was nicely laid out, giving everyone their own area to escape while also having great gathering areas. There is only one bathroom, but it was large and had plenty of space for everyone to keep their items. My bed was extremely comfortable and had lots of closet/ dresser space. This property is great for almost any group, just a heads up, there is a slight slope from the driveway to the entryway, without a walkway or railing. This was not an issue for us; however, it may be for others. We also enjoyed farm stands in the area, getting delicious, fresh homemade bread, honey, and eggs. These were the grab what you like and leave your payment type stands. We also got ice-cream with the largest scoops I've ever seen! Lots of close restaurants and stores to get anything you might need. There was clear communication from the owner, would recommend this property and love to stay again! Thank you for everything!

Magical and private beachfront home

I stayed here for 36 hours to check it out for my family trip in September. The place is on 6 acres and on a warm and quiet spring fed lake. I swam back and forth across the lake without a boat in site. The owner (a father with 4 adult children) was most accommodating. He let me have an early check in and late check out. He had bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. I had never been on a paddle board so he gave me a free lesson. This was the only time I saw him the entire weekend except when I also bugged him to help me build a fire in his pit. This truly is a magical place where you can unplug from the world. If you happen to be working the wifi is also amazing. I can’t wait to bring my wife and 3 young girls to this magical place this year and every year. Thanks Bill for letting me stay at your magical place. I'm hoping he gives my wife and daughters paddle board lesson too.

My coworkers and I stayed here for the Nascar race. The location was perfect. The house is tucked away off the main road and is right next to a beautiful lake. The house was very clean and worked out great for 4 adults. We would absolutely stay here again

Weekend fun with the grandkids

I’ve never rented property before and this was a great experience. We had all the amenities we needed. The kids caught lots of fish and we had a fish fry. They loved the kayak and paddle board. Nice weather for sitting on the patio playing games. Grilled some burgers on the grill provided. We went to Michigan speedway and it was easy access. I would highly recommend this property.

Lake Getaway

Had a great long weekend here with my wife, kids, and parents. It was everything we were hoping for to relax and have fun, lake right off the backyard, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. Enjoyed a campfire every night watching the boats go by, quiet and peaceful. The owners were great and accommodating, would definitely visit again!

Stay in Brooklyn

I’ll start by saying the owner was very nice! But we did not expect him to be there on arrival, or checkout (came back at 1030, check out was 11), where we found out he would be staying on the top portion of the house and we would be staying on the bottom, as this is not the usual experience I was used to. After we explained that this was not enclosed in the description, he did leave instead of staying. Another thing that was slightly uncomfortable was connecting doors to the top portion of the house, into our kitchen, and despite showing it was locked, actually did not lock properly. I also was disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. It seemed as though someone had stayed there the night before. I think this place has a lot of potential with some minor changes. Some positive aspects were that it is directly on the lake and very private, with a fire place and fire wood included. The bathroom also seemed to be newly renovated! Another positive is that they allowed two dogs and the property set up was dog friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Brooklyn!
