Información sobre la propiedad: Obtenga lo mejor de ambos mundos con esta encantadora cabaña frente al lago en un tranquilo círculo en Dennisport, Mid - Cape Cod. Tiene acceso a la costa justo afuera de su puerta trasera con hermosas vistas de Swan Pond y tierras de conservación. Pase tiempo en el lago o en la calle Sea Street o Glendon en la misma calle. We loved the location on Swan Pond and used the kayaks most days. The deck and backyard offered every kind of dining and relaxing place to fit the time of day or desire to be near the house or the water. The house was clean with newly renovated bedrooms downstairs and the shower was great. The main downside is the kitchen which is cramped, lacks a stove hood and toaster, and has just too much stuff packed into every cabinet. Also, I’d suggest fixing the deck sliding door which didn’t work very well, and please provide switched light near the entry which was pitch dark upon coming in at night. Overall a good pace to stay and thanks to the owner for answering every question very quickly.

Great house in a great setting on Swan Pond. Excellent communication with owner, easy check in process, and the house is clean and comfortable. We loved using the kayaks to explore the pond. It was the perfect place to spend our two weeks on Cape Cod.

We rented the home for 21 days with our 3 teens for a total of 5 guests. Homeowners very responsive & helpful from start to finish! Home looks exactly like pictures. Great location. Kids loved using the kayaks & canoes! Everything you can imagine is stocked in the home & anything you need for beach is in basement. Having a washer & dryer there was so convenient as a family of 5 for such a long stay as we needed to use it several times. Linens & towels fresh & clean. Beds were comfortable. The one and ONLY thing I would mention that needs improvement are the air conditioners in the kitchen & loft area. They really need cleaning or replacements. I also wanted to add, neighbors across the street are so kind. My 14 yr old son got a fishing hook stuck in his finger and they came out to assist. Ended up calling an ambulance and sending him to the hospital. EMS in Dennisport very kind, quick & professional as well. Got the hook right out in Cape Cod Hospital (only 15 min away) and he was fishing again that same day. nobody ever thinks about emergencies while on vacation but good to know the hospital is nearby.I would stay here again! Thank you John & Laura.

Beautiful location

This was a great little cottage, with such a gorgeous view of the lake in the back. It was nice and clean and well-decorated, and the kitchen and game closet were fully stocked. The outdoor spaces with the hammock were really enjoyable. My favorite part was kayaking out to the tidal river, where we saw so many different birds and sea life. The only suggestion I can make is that master bedroom mattress was starting to sag and might need an update/flip, but other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! A wonderful location, just a short drive to the beach and various restaurants but in a nice quiet neighborhood. I definitely recommend this lovely spot on the cape.

Cape Cod family weekend

The house was perfect for the 7 of us. We loved using the kayaks and fire pit. We had everything we needed to enjoy beautiful weather outside. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and offered the essentials for cooking. I always appreciate having spices and basic oils so that we don't have to purchase such things. Thanks for a great stay!

A beautiful property

We loved our stay on Indian Trail. The house looks small from the outside but it is very spacious with 4 bedrooms. It is very clean, quiet and extremely comfortable with every amenity you could want. The view over Swan Pond is gorgeous and we spent many happy hours sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. It is in a great location for visiting all areas of the Cape which we did. There are lots of really good local eateries nearby. If you enjoy canoeing and boating this is a perfect spot. We would highly highly recommend this property and . communication with John was great.

WE loved everything about the house. I can't think of anything that would be lacking in amenities. My husband had just had a major surgery so he recuperated in place while we visited the cape. He had a wonderful spot to watch osprey, egrets, swans geese etc. The house was very clean and although I seemed to have a VRBO glitch John rectified matters in top time. Thank you!

Family Getaway

This cozy home was an amazing place to spend a week with my family. The yard was perfect for us plus our extended family to play and visit. The plethora of watercraft and lifevests made our time on the pond so relaxing. Great location, well appointed home. Highly recommend!!

Pond front beautiful house

House was beautifully situated on a saltwater pond. Found horseshoe crabs and blue crabs all week. Lots of nice outdoor spaces to hang out and kayaks, canoe to use as well. House was as described and clean. We would certainly consider this house again. Thank you.

Dennis Vacation

This cottage on Swan Pond was lovely. From the outside the home appears as if it is small. However, once inside, there is so much space! There were plenty of rooms and bedrooms for our family. The loft was a big hit with our teenage girls. The back patio and deck area were wonderful to relax and enjoy the views of the pond. Our family paddle boarded and kayaked on the pond and also enjoyed the hammock. The pond isn’t really for swimming due to how shallow it is but being on the water was great! Thank you for such a wonderful vacation.

Fabulous yard

Had a great stay. The house was very clean and well stocked. The backyard was Amazing!! We loved the patio sectional couch, could sit there all day. Only suggestions would be newer beds and a new outdoor firepit. I would definitely rent again.

Lovely cottage like feel

My husband and I stayed here for our one year wedding anniversary. It was quiet, serene, and private. We loved the backyard, the location was great to get to stores and restaurants and the inside of the home was comfy, updated and super clean. We will be coming back. Also, such a bonus that check in is at 2pm, it really allows you to enjoy your first day there. Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely cottage with a beautiful view

We had a great experience! What a wonderful family vacation! My Dad, siblings, and nieces and nephew got together for our first family vacation in years. We had plenty of room and comfortable places to sleep. There was plenty of space to have dinner as a family--inside and out. The cottage is on the beautiful Swan Pond and we were so happy the swans paid us a visit in the yard. (We also cormorants and herons and even little bunnies in the yard.) We kayaked and went fishing from the property which was amazing. The whole backyard/patio setting was beautiful. Be sure to check out the sunrise. Such a great space. Not only was the outside beautiful, but inside the cottage was so pretty and had many modern conveniences like wifi and a two televisions (which came in handy on the few rainy days). The cottage is on a quiet street. It's conveniently located near several good restaurants, shopping, mini golf, ice-cream, and several beaches. I highly recommend this property. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely home in beautiful location

This house radiates the love that has been put into it by the owners - it is comfortable, tastefully appointed, and very homey. We have found that not all properties are as listed online, but this was even nicer than the pictures. The pond is a nature lover's dream. As kayakers, it was wonderful to not have to cart ours, because there are 4 on the property already. The daily presence of egrets, herons, kingfishers, swans and the call of an osprey lifted our spirits. It is a slice of the Outer Cape on the Mid-Cape! Our grandsons LOVED catching (and releasing) crabs and tiny pond dwellers. We loved returning to the super comfortable patio, hammock and outdoor firepit after exploring and beach visits. We plan on returning as soon as possible!

Wonderful stay

We loved staying here. Location in MidCape allowed us to visit the entire area. We loved the view of the pond and it actually was much bigger than we thought. We rode the bike trails, visited Provincetown, took the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. Went to an amazing beach. We rode our bikes in the neighborhood and took out the canoe. I would not hesitate to book this property again

Great place has everything! We had 8 women and shower after shower with PLENTY of Hot Water!!!

Great place everything was perfect! Everything you need is there and more!!!! 8 women stayed and PLENTY OF HOT WATER shower after shower!!! Our ages range from 27 to 75 so the younger women stayed up-stairs it's very cozy but the stairs are kind of tricky. I called John to ask a question and he was very helpful and polite. We had a great time and will be back!!! Thank You John & Laura Brenda

Lovely setting, a kayakers dream

The house is very quaint, well maintained, clean & tidy. The backyard is serene on Swan pond. Kayaking the pond to Swan River and out to Nantucket Cove was spectacular.

We are John and Laura and live on the North Shore located 20 minutes North of Boston. We are two working professionals with two beautiful daughters. Both Laura and I came from families that would make it a tradition to plan their annual vacations on Cape Cod. We were married at the Lighthouse Inn on West Dennis Beach. The area has always been a draw for us and we always looking for reasons to visit. That's when we decided to purchase a home in Dennisport. We are happy to share our getaway with travelers and we hope you and your family will have similar memories of the Cape that we have created over the years. The cottage has been visited by people from around the world. Some recent visitors have traveled from Hong Kong, Ireland, Canada, Denmark, England and many states throughout the US. Recently, we had a couple exchange wedding vows in our backyard.

Location, Location, Location! Its all about location! Fresh/Salt water lake with a river that's connected to the local beaches, being less than 5 minutes from some amazing beaches on Nantucket Sound - was some of the draws to purchasing our cottage. We also love the street being located on a quiet circle - making it safe for walking, riding your bike or going for a jog. The yard is quiet and tranquil with nature views and easy access to the water. The lake is beautiful and very quiet. The back yard overlooking the water is both private and well cared for. Great for BBQing, relaxing on the hammock, sitting down by the water or having dinner on the deck.
