Cozy 4 bedroom home comfortably sleeps 8 guests & sits just one block from downtown and 2 blocks from the Mississippi river backwaters. This carefully styled home is packed with mid-century charm, personality & amenities, and features ample off-street parking for multiple cars and your boat. Let kids play in the fenced back yard while you enjoy drinks on the private patio - or take a 1 minute walk to the many restaurants, food, shopping & live music options throughout downtown!

Tastefully and comfortably decorated mid century home with spacious common areas for socializing and relaxing. Enjoy morning coffee on the 4 season porch and then wander a block down the street to explore the many restaurants and shopping options.

Bedroom 1: Main floor with queen bed and large closet.

Bedroom 2: 2nd floor with queen bed & 2 closets

Bedroom 3: 2nd floor with 2 twin beds and 1 closet.

Bedroom 4: 2nd floor with bunk beds, closet and plenty of headroom for top bunker!

Living room: Full size sofa, loveseat and two oversized chairs with a smart TV and Roku sound bar.

Dining Room: separate dining area with seating for 6, additional stools available to increase seating to 8.

Fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, electric stove with built in pizza oven, microwave, single serve coffee maker, toaster, stand mixer, blender, crock pot, cutlery, and moveable island.

Multiple mirrors placed throughout the home to make getting ready easier while sharing the bathroom.

Full size washer & dryer.

Gas grill on the patio.

Private, off-street parking for 4 vehicles + additional street parking out front.

Games and books for all ages on site.

Guests will have access to all main floor and upper level areas in addition to private back yard, patio and driveway.

The house is so cute and the decor is very comfortable and charming. It’s well equipped with plenty of towels in the bathroom, blankets, toilet paper, paper towels, even stuff like aluminum foil and baggies. There’s cutting boards, knives, a coffee pot and a K-cup machine plus both ground coffee and k-cups. They even have super cute pottery mugs that say Prairie du Chien.The backyard has cushions for the chairs and string lights for cute atmosphere. We lacked nothing and you can tell the owner has paid attention to details. Location is awesome, an easy walk to restaurants, bars, shops, etc on the Main Street. The host is extremely responsive and helpful. The only downside was going downstairs to the bathroom at night, but that’s typical for a house that age. The bathroom has been nicely updated. We had an incredible weekend and love the house!!

Kitchen set up was perfect; overall bery nice place... could use some new mattresses on the twin beds (could feel the springs).. but we added blankets which lessened the effect

Great location! Able to walk to downtown to restaurants, shops etc. Also nice walk to river and park. We saw Eagles there and other birds. Nicely decorated older home with Plenty of room for a larger group! Clean, comfortable beds. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean. Also, plenty of towels, dishes, etc. We enjoyed the fenced, private patio and backyard. The outside play house was very dirty and if you had small kids not usable. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would book it again on another trip!

Worked perfectly for our family and the kid's couple of friends. Everyone had their own bed and no one had to use the couch. Good use of space. Building cooled down as the night wore on and was good for the rest of our time. Location to downtown bars was GREAT! Would stay again.

Everything was perfect!

We rented this home for a bachelorette party and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The house was super clean and had adorable decor, the photos don’t do it justice. The owner was great at meeting our needs and answering us if we had questions. The location was also great and was a very short, about 6 minute) walk to the bars and downtown area. Loved this little town.

Yearly PDC Trip

This is our 4th year of coming to PDC for an adults trip but the first staying here. The location could not have been better - we could easily walk to most bars, restaurants and shopping. The house had plenty of room for all of us - we will booking here again next year!

September horse show weekend

I was really impressed by the decor of the interior of the house and its location in proximity to the Villa Louie grounds was just about perfect. It worked perfectly for myself and guess where we could actually walk and or bike. To the horse show grounds. It worked perfectly!

St. Patrick's weekend get-away

This place is perfect for a downtown celebration stay or weekend of frollicking the downtown area... it's close to all the downtown shops, attractions, and taverns. If you are worried about the noise of traffic and trains, we heard neither of them. The owner was prompt when we messaged her, and all the accommodations were excellent... 5 star 🌟

The location of the Corner Cottage is perfect! Situated on a corner lot means more privacy and space for outdoor living. The fenced and private patio and backyard is a great addition to the property, and makes a great place to gather before walking just one block to enjoy what PdC's popular River District downtown area has to offer. The cottage is steps away from world famous burgers, amazing cheese curds, fish fries, sit-down dinners, incredible pizza, shopping, gourmet coffee and deserts, outdoor patios, bars and tons of live music! It's also a short walk to St. Feriole Island where guests can enjoy the community gardens, disc golf and enjoy the scenery. Close to Kayak rentals and the bike trail!
