Niebla APPALACHIAN-Hermosa cabaña de cedro ubicada a orillas del río New en aproximadamente 3 acres. Gran agujero de pesca o natación en frente de la casa. Fácil acceso al río para piragüismo, kayak o tubos. Fogata junto al río para asar malvaviscos o hot dogs.

Relájese en la gran terraza abierta mientras disfruta de las vistas a la montaña y los sonidos del río. Relájese en la bañera de hidromasaje en el porche cubierto mientras disfruta de las vistas a la montaña.

Nivel principal: abundante iluminación natural en la gran sala con grandes ventanas y dos juegos de puertas francesas. La leña de piedra de doble cara separa las zonas de estar y comedor. My favorite place in Ashe County

This was our second time staying at this property and just like the last, we oved it. Bring your fishing poles! We caught rock bass, smallmouth bass and redbfeast sunfish in the river (using small crankbaits.) It's such a lovely property and the cabin has everything that you need.

summer fun

The home and the property was amazing. The river was beautiful and calm. The kids had fun playing in the large yard, in the river and inside activities. The hot tub was amazing but needed to be cleaned. There were many spider webs outside that needed to be cleaned and the grill was broken (the igniter button) and dirty on our arrival. Overall great place to stay, we had a wonderful relaxing time and will return again!!

We know the ignitor on grill does not work but the grill works great and should have been clean upon arrival-sorry about that. Spider webs outside are almost impossible to keep away. Relax and unwind while the kids explore

We had a wonderful time at Appalachian Mist. The kids had a blast running around the wide open fields, hanging out in the gazebo, and playing at the river's edge. It was too cold to go into the river, but that didn't dampen their fun at all! The adults enjoyed hanging out on the expansive deck watching the kids run around and playing games without having to worry about the kids. We hung two camping hammocks in the patch of trees beside the house and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The tree at at the edge of the woods is a PERFECT climbing tree...it's a pine tree, so there is sap, but it's a lot of fun to climb and worth the stickiness! Adults and kids alike enjoyed our night at the fire pit roasting hot dogs and s'mores and playing Kuub (a yard game). We didn't really need to leave the house because there was so much to enjoy on the property, but we did go to West Jefferson (just a 10min drive) to check out Ashe County Cheese and pick up some goodies...that was fun! On our way out of town at the end of our stay, we stopped by Mount Jefferson for a hike...if you're not the hiking type, you can drive to the beautiful overlooks! This was one of the best weekend vacations we have had and that is largely because of this property! ❤️ Can't wait to come back!

Just what we were looking for

We enjoyed our stay. The lot was huge for the kids to play on and the local neighborhood provided lots of hiking opportunities. I wish I was a fly fisherman. I would think the river running along one side might have been hiding some trout. The town was near enough for obtaining essentials at the local Ingles and Boone wasnt that far away. Great fireplaces inside and out. Very relaxing Thanksgiving compliments of Publix!

Quiet weekend on the river

Good time spent with family. House was fine, deck was great. Peaceful setting. Grill did not work. Beds were not made.

Great Cabin

Had a wonderful vacation at this cabin. Yard was perfect for my toddler grandson to run and play. Loved the double sided fireplace!

Family weekend get away

This place was awesome, my 2 daughters and their families were with us the river was a big hit with the children. The house was amazing.

Loved the cabin!

The sleeper sofa & bunk bed mattresses weren't very comfortable; otherwise, we had a wonderful time. The hot tub was awesome.

Great getaway!

We had a wonderful time in this lovely and comfortable cabin. The hot tub wasn’t working the first night which was a bummer. We called the next day and the woman I spoke with was very friendly and sent someone to fix it. Beautiful home right on the river big enough for all 10 of us!

We booked the house for a family trip. Plenty of room. Great views. Access to the river was awesome. Will consider for future trips.

Best weekend ever

LOVEDDDD this cabin!!!!!!! BEST LOCATION!!!!!! ON the river, fire pit down next to the river, GREAT hot tub, GREAT deck, super inside AND out!!! We WILL be back!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Judy, We appreciate your review of Appalachian Mist! If we aim to please, we knocked it out of the park for you! This cabin has one of the best riverfront yards with the fire pit and hot tub, it is hard to beat. The interior, with the two sided wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV, and cathedral ceilings, is so very inviting. We look forward to seeing you back soon!
