Tulip House: Cozy adventurer's retreat w/climbing shed

Welcome to Tulip House, your cozy retreat for all of your Colorado adventures!

Located in Northern Longmont a mile from the stunning McIntosh Lake, this one-bedroom guest suite has a private entrance through the garage with a designated garage parking spot, a spacious living area with a kitchenette (including a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and kettle), modern bathroom with a rain shower, a comfy queen bed and, a 1-2 person sleeper sofa, and a queen air mattress. The house is a bilevel separated by a locked door, and you'll have access to the downstairs and outside.

The expansive backyard includes a patio, hammock, and a climbing/bouldering shed.

The property is centrally located with easy access to downtown Longmont, Rocky Mountain National Park, and Boulder. It's approximately a 45 minute drive to downtown Denver as well as Fort Collins. Looking forward to hosting you!

Charming house in a great location. Was perfect for our 2-day stay for a wedding. Appreciated the guide she provided for places to see, eat, etc. Would definitely book again if we came back to the area.

Nice neighborhood getaway

Want a place to get away to the close out doors and get the small town feel at the same time. I highly recommend this place for that feel and coziness. It also pet friendly and plenty of parks nearby to walk to.

Anniversary Stay

My partner and I stayed here for our mini vacation from life in Denver to celebrate our anniversary. This was the perfect home base, great location, very cute! Would definitely stay here again.

Tulip House

Chelsea was very nice. I had difficulty opening the door into the apartment and opening the gate to the backyard for my dog was difficult as the handle was broken and I had to reach over to try and open the latch. Climbing wall? What climbing wall? Fire pit? What fire pit? Once parked in the garage it’s almost impossible getting out of the car due to the shelving in the garage (which thankfully was padded). Inside the premises were clean. Nice shower and washer/dryer which I used. The bed was HORRIBLE! Very very hard mattress and staticky sheets. No control over air or heat settings which resulted in a couple too warm nights. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy. Next time I’ll spend a little more money for a better place.

Wonderful retreat!

Such a great spot to make home base for a wedding trip. I loved having the garage to park in, the whole place is thoughtfully decorated and so functional.

Just what we needed

This was the perfect place to lay down our heads each night after the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival. Only 10-15 minutes away, comfortable beds, all the necessities. Dishes were tough to wash with no sink except in bathroom but we made it work and were careful not to clog the drain! :-) A variety of small snacks was provided which was a nice touch. We were able to park our car in the garage, too.

Great place!

Super cute & clean. Communication with the host was excellent. Only stayed one night, but would definitely stay longer since it's in a great location to explore the surrounding area. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple.

Super cute.

A great place for a couple of nights. Super nice, chilly apartment on hot summer days. Kitchenette was great, but it’s a little weird to only have the bathroom sink. Don’t let that stand in your way though. Totally recommend.

Affordable, Clean and Everything We Needed

We loved this little one bedroom basement apartment for our stay near Boulder. The space is well cared for and very clean and comfortable. While it doesnt have a kitchen, the host offers a hot water kettle, microwave, Keurig and small fridge. We made it work for our 3 night stay. I also really appreciated the washer/dryer. We had been camping, so having the ability to wash some clothes was key. The neighborhood seemed very safe and I walked my dog twice daily around the block. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything as advertised. Chelsea was a great host and easy to communicate with. The TV only has basic streaming stuff loaded on it and is very limited. We weren't there to just stay in and watch TV, but next time I would take my laptop and an HDMI cable to stream my Direct TV, or if you have you're own firestick you would want to bring it.

Comfortable healing day

This is a very beautiful property, and there is really something special about this place. I met the owners and they have great vibes. I felt very safe in the home and love the decorations. The couch is super soft, and the bed is very comfortable. Comfort it’s important to me so this made me very happy. I can’t think of any complaints I had while staying here, and definitely see myself coming back one day. It was a great way to end my trip to Colorado!

Great getaway

We came to Colorado to get to the mountains and unwind a bit. The lovely space was perfect for my wife and I as a homebase as we ventured to Rocky Mountain National Park about 40 minutes away. The space was super cute, clean, and appointed well. We enjoyed some great food in Longmont as well.

Great Getaway

Pictures tell the story. Clean and pleasant place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is within walking distance to a beautiful park. The weather allowed relaxation time in the back yard. Lovely accommodations.
