Enjoyable Stay During the Winter Months
In February, while outdoor amenities were off-limits, we enjoyed food, festivities, and games indoors by the fireplace. The common areas allowed us to connect and relax, though we missed the outdoor deck for drinks in warmer weather.The common spaces let everyone enjoy each other's company while allowing for some distance if needed. In warmer weather, the outside deck off the living room would be perfect for drinks and conversation.There were plenty of bed sheets and linens, and the beds were very comfortable, especially the king-suite bed! We were surprised not to find any extra shampoo/conditioner or travel-sized amenities lying around, but I'm sure it gives a cleaner "vibe" to omit to provide them.The kitchen was spacious and ideal for snacking, featuring a clean fridge and dishwasher stocked with sponges, dish soap, Keurig pods, and dishwasher packs. Essentials like salt, pepper, sugar, spices, honey, cooking oil, and pots/pans were provided. We cooked three meals on-site but did some more complex cooking at home.Check-out was a breeze, and working with the hosts was seamless. There wasn't any extensive check-out process; it was primarily stripping the linens off the bed, piling towels in each bedroom, putting furniture back into place, and ensuring all dishes were washed. Steve and Kim were great hosts, and the price for our rental was very competitive. We looked at several properties prior to booking this one and I know we made the best choice in the end.
