We loved our stay!! Such a clean, cosy, and relaxing venue. We loved the view from the big picture window. It was very easy to get around when making our way into downtown. We will definitely remember this place the next time we make our way back to Omaha. Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful home away from home!

We had a great stay! It was conveniently located to just about everything when experiencing Omaha. Staying on the lake was an added perk. My kids loved it. Sam is very easy going and responsive. If we make it back to Omaha, we would enjoy staying at her place again!

It was great, but…

My family was in Omaha for a wedding and preferred the leisure of a home rather than a hotel. We were coming in from different locations, different times and Sam was very accommodating to our needs. The house was spacious, comfortable, close to airport (NO AIRPORT NOISE) and we were able to relax, cook and enjoy our stay. However, I could not give the accommodation 5 stars for a few reasons: 1. Upstairs was VERY warm. We lowered the a/c, turned on the fans but it took opening the windows to cool off 2. Bedroom with bunk beds needed a light bulb in over head light and beds were not made. 3. It would have been lovely to have access to the docks from the deck. There is access from the basement living quarters but guests don’t have access to that. 4. I swept the front stoop because it needed it; there were lots of leaves and spider webs which made entry not very inviting. It was an enjoyable stay but those details matter.

Even in a blizzard...

...we enjoyed the coziness of this home! It was fun watching the weather change (drastically) out the floor to ceiling windows! There are grocery and convenience stores nearby and Old Market too! Definitely recommend if you're in the Omaha area as there's lots to do!

Nice place just outside the city

My family of 4 spent a long weekend here visiting family in Omaha. The Trip to downtown Omaha was quick and easy. Then coming back to a place with a beautiful view was a nice way of relieving after a day of hiking around in the cold. So many windows to her in the sun was so nice sitting the cold winter weekend. House was spacious but cozy. Beds were comfortable. House was immaculate and contact with the owner was flawless. I had a couple questions and she answered almost immediately. Would definitely stay again, would like to visit during spring or summer.

Beautiful

Very nice place to stay. Close to everything we wanted to do. It is on the lake but really not access to it. The dock was clocked. The beach isn’t anywhere close. We didn’t go for the water this trip. It was fine for us. There is only 1 tv in living room. You do hear planes throughout day and night. Very much enjoyed our stay. We will book again if we go that direction.

Beautifully Appointed Home!

Samantha’s home is beautifully furnished and arranged in a comfortable manner. The view of the dock outside is wonderful during your morning coffee and evening sunset. The kitchen is easily accessible, and we spent a substantial part of our trip grilling on the BBQ & enjoying the patio furniture. Samantha was extremely responsive and accommodating, including answering my questions about local fishing. If you’re not familiar with this area, we found Frank Stoysich Deli & Meat Market to be a great place to buy goodies to cook at the house, and Brother Sebastian’s Steakhouse for a really amazing ambiance of an old mission church and good food. Will definitely stay here again if in the area! Thanks, Samantha, you are a great hostess! We had a GREAT TIME!

Labor Day Getaway

The property was nice, well kept and clean. All the amenities provided and great location. The only negative about this place is no dryer and no big pots to cook with. My husband does all the cooking and he didn’t have a big enough pot to make spaghetti sauce for his lasagna…: lol! If you want to call that a negative.

Pretty view, nice location

The house is very cute & has pretty views of the lake. It worked well for our family of 4. The furniture is comfy and seats everyone, including on the deck. The location was perfect for us to visit Creighton & UNL. Omaha has tons of delicious restaurants!

July 4th weekend 2024

Great location, easy drive to any of the amenities you would want to visit in Omaha. Hostess was excellent, nothing was too much for her, she sent comprehensive instructions before we arrived that were very easy to follow, gain access and use the property. Great view over the water and neighbors were friendly. I would absolutely recommend both this property and our host! Thank you for helping to make a great vacation.
