Located on beautiful South Padre Island Golf Club resort, our family oriented, single-story residence has everything you need for a couples’ retreat or family getaway. We are proud to offer dog-friendly accommodations!


South Padre Island Golf Club (SPIGC) is in the quiet and friendly community of Laguna Vista and is a fully gated community accessible by passcode. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom abode has access to resort amenities such as golf, 2 heated pools, tennis court, gym and much more!


The Blue Haus already boasts 5 STARS on another platform and we accommodate stays over 30 days, up to 8 guests and traveling canine companions. We are available to assist you at any time, feel free to reach out to us through the platform.


Comfortable beds (king, queen and bunk bed with a full size bottom and twin size upper). Soft sheets, extra comforters. Two fold up mattresses and cots with mattress protector, pillow protector, pillows, sheet set and blanket for your convenience. Room darkening window coverings and televisions in every room. Lots of natural lighting in common areas.


The garage is where we have the two dog crates for your convenience along with fishing poles, surfboard, portable chairs, coolers and life vests.


Guest access
You have access to the whole home except the locked closet in the garage and the attic.

OUTDOOR LIVING: Partially covered patio w/ patio furniture, charcoal grill and two adjustable umbrellas for increased sun protection.
INDOOR LIVING: Tile flooring, ceiling fans, natural sunlight, wifi, 4 flat-screen TV's with 40 spectrum 40 channels accessible with Roku controller. (50" in 2 bedrooms, 32” in in one bedroom, 75" in living room).
KITCHEN: Fully equipped, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, tile backsplash, coffee bar, water kettle, many small appliances, knife set, basic spices and more.
GENERAL: Beach towels, basic supplies for traveling companion canines, washer/dryer, charcoal for grill.
PARKING: driveway (2 vehicles)
RESORT: You are located on the South Padre Is. Golf Course. Provided wrist bands will allow you to access 2 HEATED pools, gym, tennis courts and other amenities.


To provide our guests with more ecofriendly options, we have dispensers filled with vegan friendly, paraben & sulfate free body wash, shampoo and conditioner. However, we have also provided single-use toiletries. Each bathroom is equipped with bidets.


Location! Location! Location! You are only minutes from beautiful South Padre Island and Port Isabel. Additionally, you are a short, scenic drive away from the groundbreaking Space X Starbase in Boca Chica, and Brownsville, Texas home to the Gladys Porter Zoo and many historical sites.


If you are a birder or nature watcher here for ecotourism, you have so many local options to choose from in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, as this area is the site where two major flyways converge! Nearby is the Laguna Vista and Laguna Madre Nature Trail and Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. You are also an hour away from Mission and McAllen Texas where you can enjoy the National Butterfly Center and La Parida. If your plans don’t involve driving, we have also provided bird feeders by the wildlife corridor. We have seen great kiskadees, green jays, blue birds, orioles and many cardinals, not to mention several birds of prey from the back yard alone.


Important: We are REQUIRED to collect a 7% Hotel Occupancy Tax for the City of Laguna Vista in order to operate this home as a short-term rental. Additionally, there is a 2% tax from Cameron County. These taxes apply to bookings of 30 days or less. After you book, if VRBO does not factor the tax into your statement, you will receive a request to pay the 9% on the cost of your rental rate only. This tax must be paid no later than 48 hours prior to your arrival in order to maintain your reservation. Thank you for your understanding.

We have provided ample waste receptacles for your convenience.


No tampering with the cameras on property. While there are no cameras on the interior of the home in living spaces, we have a total of 3. There is one on the patio facing the wildlife corridor but allows us to see who enters the patio from the backyard. There is a camera on the front of home that faces the street but allows us to see who enters through the front door only. There is a camera in the garage that faces the garage door entrance.


We welcome all well-behaved companion canines. Do not leave your companion animals unattended. We have two crates provided for your convenience.


No boats, trailers or anything besides a car or truck to be parked on driveway or street.


No smoking or vaping of any kind inside the home. You are welcome to smoke on the patio or in the front but you need to dispose of your ashes and tobacco products.


We have provided blue (resident) wristbands and green (guest) wristbands. You will need to wear these to access amenities on South Padre Island Golf Course such as the gym or the pool. Any person with a green wrist band will need to be accompanied by someone with a blue wristband. Do not lose these wristbands and place them back into the drawer once your trip is complete. ***There is a $25.00 charge to replace each wristband which will be billed to the guest if they are lost or not returned to us.***
