Hello there! Thank you for taking the time to view The Writing Cabin. We are delighted to offer you the most charming and comfortable cabin in Pinetop, Arizona.

Our cabin is nestled in the prestigious country club area and provides a wide range of outdoor activities for your enjoyment. Whether you prefer hiking, shopping, golfing, or gambling, all these options are conveniently located nearby.

Inside the cabin, you will find a spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs. Step outside and you will discover a clean barbecue grill, perfect for preparing your favorite meals while enjoying the fresh air. Relax on our comfortable hammock and take in the beauty of the sky. We also provide two beach bikes for your use, or you can play cornhole on the boards provided outside.

Each bedroom is equipped with a television and comfortable beds for a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms offer shower amenities for your convenience.

We welcome small pets, but please note that inquiries will be considered on a case-by-case basis. There is a pet cleaning fee to cover deep cleaning requirements. We greatly appreciate responsible pet owners.

This majestic cabin was a delightful suprise- the pictures and reviews were nice but it really was even better in person. Everything feels more elevated and luxurious than expected but most impressive is how each space feels laced with love. The displayed authors work throughout was so sweet and added to the charm. So much thoughtfulness throughout - kitchen had everything you could need and a coffee bar. Our kids loved the comfortable & adorably decorated room, pac man arcade game and the backyard to run around in even at night with the beautiful bulb lighting. Host was so kind and helpful beyond our expectations. Absolutely recommend!

Lovely get away from hot summer

This comfortable, clean, and well appointed cabin located in a quiet tree lined neighborhood provided the perfect vacation for my family. Would love to stay here again.

Within 10 minutes walking distance of an entry to an Arizona Trust Lands trail and 10 minutes driving distance to a good cup of coffee, this location meets the needs of best friend and (hu)man alike.The furnishings are comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped and there are front and back porches, so no matter what time of day, there's always a good spot to read, write or engage in conversation. Plus, the neighbors are friendly.What more could one ask?

Great Family Getaway.

We truly enjoyed our stay! It’s a very nice cabin in an ideal spot. This cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. Well-equipped kitchen made cooking a seamless experience. All of the appliances were in working order. We were amazed at how well the bathrooms were stocked with all essential amenities and thoughtful extras. Our children and the family dog enjoyed playing in the fenced-in backyard. This safety feature gave us peace of mind. Also, the complimentary items from the manager and the owner of the cabin were sincerely appreciated! Katherine’s thoughtfulness was very kind.Leah & Brian.

Perfect Getaway!!

I give the Writing Cabin a 15/10 rating! Clean, cozy, inviting, and the most well thought out rental I have ever stayed at. Kat is a dream to work with and the cabin is everything as described....and more. Everything you could want and need is available. So many amazing touches. We will be back!

Fantastic

Great location in a wonderful neighborhood, felt very safe & good for walking. The cabin is amazing, well decorated, well supplied & all the little things thought out! The back yard is great for a dog, fenced & grassy. There is a grill, fire pit, games, TV & even a wine fridge on the back patio. We were there during a heat wave and the AC worked great. Will definitely stay again!

From the moment we opened the front door we were blown away. Pictures don’t do it justice. So clean & cozy. Every little detail from all the kitchen supplies to the bathroom supplies, you really don’t need anything but the clothes on your back. Just a lovely home that we cannot wait to return to!! Peace at The Writer’s Cabin

Our time spent at the cabin was so peaceful and enjoyable. All made possible by the effort our host put into making her guests feel comfortable. Everything was very clean, a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Loved the back porch and private back yard. We sat out there a lot, listening to birds, some rain and thunder. More than feeling like we were in a “guest” home, we felt more like we were guests in someone’s cared for home. And the owner is amazing. Helpful, quick to respond and very warm. We will definitely visit The Writer’s Cabin again!

Fantastic property! This place is beautiful inside and out! Very clean and welcoming!!! The kitchen has everything you need! We enjoyed time on the front porch and the back porch and yard! Kat, the owner, is so great to work with! She responds right away to any questions or inquiries! We have stayed at several rentals in Pinetop-Lakeside and found this place to be the BEST! This is the place we will come back to!!! Thanks Kat!!!!!!

"Enchanting Escape in Pinetop: A Cozy Retreat with Perfect Proximity"

I had an absolutely delightful stay at this charming Vrbo in Pinetop! The cleanliness of the property was impeccable, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Fantastic Get Away!

We wanted to get away and this place was perfect. Booking and scheduling was easy, and our host was a joy. She gave us helpful advice on how to get there to avoid the traffic, what to see as we made our way there and was just a cool person to work with. She was super responsive and never left us hanging for a response. The house was perfect, the pictures on the site were great, but when you see it in person, my oh my, I almost cried. It was clean and charming, and she thought of everything. There were games for indoors and out. There was even a PAC-Man arcade game that we almost had to rock paper scissors just to get a turn. There were places to rest and relax in every room. The back porch was super comfy, and the grill and fire table made us not want to come back inside! And the hammock! We borrowed the fishing pole and went fishing at Show Low lake, and played some cornhole in the back yard. And since the back yard is fully fenced, we could let our little dog off leash when we were relaxing and watching the fight on the backyard TV. It was so nice to be able to go on vacation and have everything we need without having to carry it all with us. If you want to get away from the heat and the smog of Phoenix and breathe some clean clear air, this home is the place to do it. Thank you so much. We will definitely be coming back!
