The inside of the house is absolutely beautiful! My favorite room? The kitchen!! We are all but 1 meal at the house we enjoyed the cooking. the beds are comfortable, there is plenty of sitting space. We really enjoyed playing games in the sun room! We took a walk and met some neighbors who are very nice. My aunt and cousin enjoyed fishing off the dock and actually had several catches during the weekend. The homeowners are very responsive and accommodating. I’d go back tomorrow!!

Relaxing waterfront stay

This house has great space for a group, lots of room to spread out, sunroom to drink coffee in the morning while watching for dolphins on the sound, a great dock to fish on, the kitchen was easy to cook in, the host was responsive and helpful.

Enjoyed Edenton & the property water view

Lots of issues such as dirty windows, shades (also not working) and bathrooms.The overall condition of the gazebo was disappointing. The property was in need of a thorough spring cleaning. The interior ofthe house was spacious & comfortable.

Beauty on the Sound

We absolutely loved the home! It was very welcoming! The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, the view was lovely. We will definitely come back again. The family loved it!

Disappointing 25th Anniversary & Birthday Vacation

We had trouble figuring out how to get in, called the host and she was very pleasant, so I do feel badly leaving a less than stellar review. The photos in the add are not current. The house had the smell of a wet dog. The couches in the room off the garage, really bad. I'm not sure if it's because of all the carpeting thru out the house or what. There was black mold in the master shower. There are temporary paper shades covering broken mini blinds over the windows in the master bathroom, and some of them were falling off the window frame. Most of the sliding glass door screens were dirty, covered in cob webs, torn and the handles are broken. The locks on the sliding glass doors in the sun room and formal living room do not work. Without the charlie bar, I would not have felt safe at night.There is not railing on the front stairs, which made it difficult for us with bad knees. No railing on the gazebo, but we did not even attempt to use it. On a good note, the kitchen and the view of the sound are beautiful. We were very disappointed as this was a 25th Anniversary and birthday vacation for us. It's a nice home in a beautiful spot but it is in need of upkeep and repair.

Quite peaceful and relaxing

We arrived to find the house in a great quiet neighborhood located on the water front. The check in was super easy the house was bigger than what I was expecting for two people, great place for families or larger group.I really liked the large newer tv’s was easy to watch several stations and local news. Also appreciated the snacks and the different flavors of coffee that was left for us. My only complaint and was the living room couches had a bad smell all though they are clean looked very nice they had a bad Oder, they will either need to be cleaned or covered with some sort of covers we had to use blankets to set on them We had a wonderful stay and it’s only a 10 minute drive to Edenton and to several restaurants.

Steamers Family Fun

A wonderful place to stay. Enjoyed the water for fishing and cooling off. Our son plays for the Steamers and the house is in a great location for going into town for baseball games, food and sweet treats!

Outer Banks Tour

We used the house as a base for day trips around the outer Banks. House was located on the sound which gave us a wide waterfront view. The house was cool, clean and comfortable. Neighborhood was very quiet. We would stay again. thanks,
