¡ESTA UNIDAD TIENE UN REQUISITO DE SÁBADO A SÁBADO DURANTE LA TEMPORADA ALTA! ¡Esta unidad de dos dormitorios / dos baños está decorada ingeniosamente con los mejores muebles y hermosos colores brillantes! Duerme un total de 6 personas cómodamente con una cama king size en las dos habitaciones. El condominio es perfecto para un retiro en pareja. La habitación con literas adicionales cuenta con literas de tamaño doble y nuestros pequeños huéspedes adoran esta característica. El espacioso dormitorio principal está frente a la playa con entrada al balcón privado. Otra entrada es desde la sala de estar. La belleza de la costa esmeralda también se puede admirar desde las áreas de comedor y cocina. La cocina está totalmente equipada, por lo que la preparación de comidas es fácil. Para sus necesidades de lavandería, también se puede encontrar una lavadora y secadora en este condominio frente a la playa. La unidad tiene un televisor de pantalla plana SMART de 58 pulgadas. Unas vacaciones festivas te esperan tanto por dentro como por fuera. Gulf Dunes Resort está a solo unos minutos del centro de Destin. Estará a poca distancia de varios restaurantes y tiendas de recuerdos. En un lado del condominio, tendrá el Beach Lover's Paradise, y en el otro, experimentará la comodidad de todo local. Hay tiendas de comestibles y tiendas especializadas a solo unos minutos en Fort Walton Beach. El muelle de pesca se encuentra a poca distancia, al igual que la famosa trampa para cangrejos y el complejo Gulfarium. We love Brooks and Shorey... not our specific Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We first want to start with: We love booking with Brooks and Shorey! The team is professional and polite! However, the condo we stayed at this year was lacking what we are used to. The trip started out with finding a bathing suit, from the previous guest, hanging on the master bath door. (Staff immediately retrieved this bathing suit but this made us really question the cleanliness). In the kitchen, we found dirty silverware (particularly the knives that had a cover over them in the drawer). The doors in the unit were very dirty. One of the elevators was broken, we had to wait a crazy amount of time each time we had to use the elevator. We hate to complain, but just expected a little more for what we paid!

Reviewer Comments: The condo was okay- the only things I was not happy about was that there was hair still on the master toilet and a feminine hygiene pad stuck to the outside of the guest bedroom door, and some man had to keep coming to our room to look at the windows, all of this happened when we were not inside the condo, so that made me kind of uncomfy.

Nice view of the beach, but needs many updates!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is just ok- needs many updates. The furniture is very old and it is not comfortable at all. The chairs you can barely sit in without sliding out of. The icemaker was broken, but the maintenance man came and fixed it quickly, which was very nice. There were many loose outlets and he also replaced those. The drawers in one of the bedrooms was broken. We had issues on the elevator, it was very scary, but that was fixed immediately, which we so appreciated! I have stayed at Gulf Dunes before that in a different condo. That condo was very nice. I would not rent this particular condo again. When I pay that much money for a vacation, I like everything to work, be clean and be able to sit in good furniture and all appliances working . The beach service was awesome. Dan was very accommodating and we appreciated that.! As I said before, I will stay at Gulf Dunes again but not be in this condo. The owners need to update! Kitchen, dishes, toaster, etc. all needs updating. I recommend Gulf Dunes, but not this condo.

Girls Getaway

The view is beautiful, the place was clean and the beds were comfy. We did do some work on our laptops while there, and the glass table and wood chairs did make us a bit sore (we’re getting older so we bruise more easily 😂), but otherwise it was a relaxing getaway, just what was needed.

It is always a great experience. This unit was very basic, but nice enough. It had several maintenance issues and definitely needed a deep, ceiling to floor cleaning, but the beds were comfortable and as always, the view was amazing.

Home Away From Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Destin/Fort Walton area for nearly 20th and we absolutely love the atmosphere, people and whatnot has to offer. We love that FW is quiet and relaxing and if we need excitement, Destin is only a few minutes away and as soon as we need quiet, back to FW we go to relax again. Gulf dunes is a great place to vacation at and Brooks and Shorey made the process easy for booking! The only downfall to our stay was upkeep of the condo itself. Trash stashed behind the couch, toilet paper roll in the guest bathroom was completely gone and looked as if someone just broke it off, the small room with bunks blinds were broken, refrigerator didn’t make any ice, and it just seemed outdated. However, most of our time was spent on the beach so we were able to overlook it, just a little eye sore from what we are used to.

Another year at Gulf Dunes

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 20th year to FWB for our annual beach get away, almost all have been at this property. Always loved it and have a good time. This year we stayed in The west tower in unit 416. I know these things are owned individually, but id have to say that this unit was def the most mediocre ive stayed in. Although pictures did show what it looked like and what all its furnished with, it def is one that is just a rental. Bathtub in the master is stained and just looks dirty, towel holders/tp holders coming off the walls, tiles are loose in places and feel its about to pop up any min, beds are not comfortable at all, walls are bare, kitchen stoves burners are on their last leg, and the kitchen island had pretty significant water damage that was just painted over. Dryer is slow at best. Overall unit was clean and in tact, just bot what you would expect for almost 4k for a week. The livingroom was the best part if this unit that made you feel you were not in motel, and the tv is updated and nice.

Return visit to Destin, year 8

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Gulf dunes several times and at this particular unit once before. We love this area. It is close enough to Destin and Fort Walton to have plenty to do but a little less busy. The condo is well situated and has fantastic views. There were some minor maintenance issues with the unit. Bathroom towel rails and toilet paper holders were all loose in main bathroom. The patio door in the living room did not lock at all and the front door lock was not always opening with the code. Otherwise, the condo was very clean and well taken care of. We will likely return again. Kitchen was well stocked and we had plenty of towels which was great as we had 6 people in our party. there was plenty of room for us all. A wonderful vacation and we enjoyed our time.

Very responsive to emails and a pleasure to work with. The condo was beautiful and clean. My only suggestion is it needs a new stove & new dryer! Stove is way outdated and the eyes are all crooked making cooking annoying. Plenty of cups/plates/silverware, but could use more cooking pans. The dryer is TERRIBLE!!!! Had to run it 3 x 60 min cycles to get clothes dry! TERRIBLE!!

Had a few lamps that wasn’t working and the bedroom furniture needs updating. Master bed head board was loose and when you moved it hit the wall. My Stay

If I wanted to complain about something it would be the tv channels, with all the streaming, but thats totally on me! The place was GREAT! Location and the parking was great with great access to the beach. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Would Gladly recommend the property for future travelers!

enjoyed vacation 2022

Reviewer Comments: Everything was perfect about this location, my only complaints are the topBunk bed guard rail was loose to the point I couldn't put my 4 yr old up there for fear ofIt not holding up. Also the cable in the bunk room didn't work. The bed in the master was horribly uncomfortable and hard as a board. Although the place was fantastic, a more comfortable master would be imperative for me to book again.
